There was another thread similar to this the other day.. As I said in that one.. I don't really care what you all do with copyrighted material. I personally don't copy music (I dont really like any music more recent than oh.. the 1800s so its not a big temptation for me.) I work for a software company and appreciate why you dont pirate software either... But I do other things that are wrong in my life so won't judge others, since I am not perfect.

What I will do though is stand up for the people who choose to sue or seek out repayment for things wrongfully taken or stolen from them. I believe strongly in a civilized society that if you own something, it shouldn't be taken from you without consent.

I don't care if there are starving musicians or other starving artists, I dont care if it hurts or helps revenue to share music on the internet. I don't care whatever the rationalization might be. If someone pirates software from my company, I definitly will do my part to make sure that is taken care of As for everyone else's stuff, thats their battle to fight but I will stand up for their right to do so. If its their's, then it shouldn't be taken without their permission. If their permission comes at too high a price, then you are not forced to get it.
