2755 of me and I know one was a professor when I was in college(if I remember correctly 7 were in phone book at the time). I can't tell you the number of people who I told could miss their exam and not to worry about it.

Only 2 of me, and it's my dad since we have the same name.
Would of been 3 of us, but my grandfather passed away at 101 years old back in 2011. |

Going by my first name only, 1,044,278. Add in my last name and it's one and I don't have to plug it in to that app to find out how many. Basically, if you put my last name into any search engine, everyone in the United States who comes up is related to me in some way (particularly my brother who's got his name on a few patents from Intel and my wife, who co-authored some papers when she was in grad school).

There are 612 people in the U.S. named Brian Nichols, including the guy from Georgia that dominates any Google searches.

Think about it observationally. When a boy's name gets huge, it gets HUGE. Every 3rd kid you know has that name. With girls, there are ebbs and flows, sure, but there are consistently popular names such that there is a wider pool of popular names, but none of them get to be as popular as the most popular boys' names. |

Only 1 of me. Not too surprising since everyone with my last name is related to me and there arent that many of us.

So I'm still leading this thing at 8,222 of me. I had a fairly accurate nickname in high school of "Dave the Average Guy" so this seems very appropriate.

Dola
I may also have one of the oddest 'other me' coincidences on this board. As a child I grew up in a house with a 1/2 address. This is very rare in our city, but there were a couple more on my street I guess just because of how the lots sold off over the years. Anyways, in my early teens I started getting calls from people asking for me, but quickly it became clear they meant someone else. Usually the conversation would go like this: "Hey is Dave there?" "Yeah, speaking" "Dude awesome night last night!" "What?" "Don't you remember? We hit that club?" "Umm, what? I'm 14. I think you have the wrong number." It turned out there was an 'other me' living up the street in another house with a 1/2 address that was a few years older. People would look for his last name in the phone book and just scan for the 1/2 address and come across our number and dial.

This thing is BS. It says that there's only one person with my name, but I know for a fact that I have a distant cousin in Chicago with the same name...
