Notre Dame with a good win at NC State. Hartman throwing 4 TDS and no interceptions, I am not sure if ND were underdogs but most everyone thought they would lose this one.

ND was a 7 point favorite as of yesterday

Game was fairly close until NCSU came apart.

I really hope Georgia gets punished for their schedule. We want to see some big time games and we will basically learn nothing about Georgia until they play Tennessee and then again nothing until the SEC Championship. It’s a real shame. Hope they lose a game and SOS haunts them all year.

If Joe Milton remains at QB I doubt you learn much about them from that game either

Same goes for Michigan. I wish teams wouldn’t make their schedule scared.

Nice to see the 2021 version of Tyler Van Dyke back. I don't know who the hell suited up as him last year

Georgia was supposed to open with Oklahoma. The SEC forced them to drop the game when they made this agreement with them and Texas. Left them screwed for this year.

Dick Van Dyke seems like the best comparison to 2022 version

Ugly win at 28-6 but I'll take it.The defense won it for us. Nice to be 2-0. Next week is BYU so should be more of a challenge, we better get our act together.

Rarely has a 17 point final margin been more deceiving than Ole Miss over Tulane today.

In what direction (I've been out all day, so I haven't seen anything about the games)?

Tulane outplayed 'em for much of the day, despite having a not-ready backup QB play the whole thing.

Ole Miss took a 20-17 lead with 12:50 to go. Led only 27-20 with 2:56 to go.
Tulane onside kick fails, Ole Miss bungles the possession ... but hits a 56 yd FG miracle with 1:56 left ... and a sack and recovery TD provided the final margin.

Scary injury to Miami's Kam Kinchens in the final minutes of the A&M game.

He was carted off, backboarded, finally awake & talking but not moving basically.

A definite thoughts & prayers situation that casts a real pall over what should be a joyous moment for Miami

Such a great win for Miami, but just a bad situation to have an important player like that carted off.

A northwest Miami native to boot I'm told.

I think my kid summed it up "just took all the air out of everything"

These are just kids . . .

It's sobering enough in an NFL game.

College/HS is another level of stomach churning.

If betting was legal in SC, Furman over 7.5 in the first half at +480 would have been the easiest money...

I swear Texas was trying to snap it through their QB back to their RB on that sneak.

Thus far, they've looked like a Gator Bowl-bound Alabama team

“So far, the reports that we have on (Kinchens) are that everything seem to be relatively normal, so I’m going to head over there right after I get done with the press conference and see how he’s doing,” (Miami HC Mario) Cristobal said.

No clue what defense Texas is running there. Getting great pressure and just leaving the middle of the field wide open.

They have left several receivers wide open tonight. They are lucky the Bama quarterback is so inaccurate.

If this was a wrestling match, the first three quarters were a hoss fight, and now we're in a spotfest (close to a spotmonkey) match.

5 TD catches in the Bama-Texas game so far ... 3 by UGA transfers

(I ain't saying what that means, if anything ... just found it interesting is all)

Texas holds on, I say rank them #1, drop everyone else a spot. Screw y'all for scheduling high school teams.

(Not that it really matters this early.)

They by far have the best win of the season. They probably should jump up to one, but they won't move that far. How far does Bama drop? I would bet they are still ranked above Texas. Rankings are stupid.

Coastal Carolina had its home opener against Jacksonville State today. Only led 10-9 at the half, but finally pulled away to win 30-16.

Alabama is 0-8-1 all-time against Texas when the Longhorn's starting QB makes it past the first quarter
