I understand the point, although I'd find it hard to believe there's only one wolf out there right now (FYI people who haven't played with me, I always call the bad guys wolves in these games). But even if there were, what is the upside of doing nothing on day one. Would we be in better shape the next day, or would just be in the same shape with more wolves?

These day one votes often end up being the most valuable votes of the game from an information standpoint.

I agree with this. If I didn't think Clap was insane I would question his motives.

Voting for KWhit Day 1 worked well for me last game

Seriously, I won't be going back to him because I did last game - barring a zombie confession or something like that. Even though the vote last game ended up (through pretty much pure luck rather than any good logic) as a "good" vote, I do try to vary my D1 targets around from game to game.

I have no idea where I will end up going with this vote beyond not voting for KWhit.

I know EF said things have been changed more toward standard WW and we're not going to see someone infected every day.

That said, that is still more or less all of what the rules give us. Until we know better with a deadline or two passing, we have to make our decisions based on the rules in place.

And the rules in place tell me it would be nuts to not lynch. If every night, someone could become a zombie, that's worse than a night kill. So not taking a shot to try to kill a zombie would be a very bad idea, IMO.

The silence is broken by terrible screaming, screams which seem almost unhuman. A loud crash is heard.

Then you see it, breaking through the storeroom door. It's a soulless beast, a zombie from hell. It staggers out of the door, in it's hands it is clutching onto a security guard that must have been unlucky enough to cross it's path while securing the stockroom.

The security guard moans one last time as the zombie tears into his flesh. Soon the moaning stops and the security guard lays motionless on the ground.

You still cannot process what just happened, it all seems unreal; like a dream. No, like a nightmare.

Then you focus again, this beast is loose among you. It begins to stagger towards the group. Then a blast is heard, the unmistakable sound of a 12 guage shotgun firing it's steel pellets into the intended target. The zombie lurches forward and then slumps to the ground. A green haze begins to rise from the body.

"Back!!!!" someone screams. "We cannot allow this to contaminate us!!!"

You scramble further back into the store as far away from the haze as you can. Now you wait and hope, hope that no one has been infected. Hope that YOU haven't been infected. Can this day get any worse?

Zombie Bite:

In 2003 a Japanese file was released which combined sports movies, kung fu and zombies all into one. The film was called Battlefield Baseball.

The film did not receive great reviews but did manage to win grand prize at the Yabari International Fantastic Film Festival. The festival is held in a small town on the Japanese island of Hokkaido.
