Start of Season 2018/2019
Goalkeepers Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 3.6m valuation: Jace is likely to be the number 1 keeper at Feyernoord this year and he celebrates the signing of a new 4 year contract with the club. Games: 0 Al Mighty, Torino, 2.7m valuation: Al didn't take long to find a new club as he signed a 5 year contract with Torino and will be their starting keeper. Torino has been a mid-table Serie A side for the past 5 years and it's been a long time since they have won anything. Games: 0 Defenders Robbie Collins, QPR, 1.7m valuation: The QPR vice-captain may be on his way out as his contract expires at the end of the season. The club wants him to stay but will he? Games: 0 Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 16.75m valuation: Flere starts the season on the sub's bench as the starting rightback is Mattia de Sciglio, an Italian international. Flere will be pushing him hard for playing time though. Games: 0 Rohan Edwards, Twente, 1.8m valuation: Rohan must really not be interested in money because his new contract with Twente also pays him just 500 pounds a week. He's considered a first team regular already. Games: 0 David Ginsberg, Rennais, 3m valuation: David is another player with a year left on his contract and he may be looking to sign a Bosman later in the year because he refuses to take a paycut with Rennais. Games: 0 Midfielders Jawouk Bafou, Man Utd, 925k valuation: Jawouk has been sent back to Fleetwoord on loan again. The suspicion is that he will be released by Man Utd once his contract is up in 2020. Games: 0 Jake Chippin, free: Jake is yet to find a new club and is waiting for offers to come in. Games: 0 Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 2.7m valuation: Deacon wanted out of Lorient and he has been sent to Genk on a season's loan where he is supposed to be a first team regular. Games: 0 Shane Christopher, free: Shane did go on trial with Rostock but was unable to impress sufficiently to be offered a contract. The new club in the picture is French side Nantes. Games: 0 Benton Gale, Everton, 10.25m valuation: Good news for Benton as Everton acquired his services for 4.6 million pounds. There's a lot of excitement surrounding his signing at Goodison. Games: 0 Michael Samuelle, Leverkusen, 1.2m valuation: Michael has been loaned out to Chemnitz in the German third division, where he looks to be a starter. Games: 0 Eddie Chilton, Fulham, 2.4m valuation: Eddie is still at Fulham as he resolves to stick it out another year. His contract expires at the end of the season so he may yet leave on a free if things do not work out. Games: 0 Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 3.1m valuation: Dex signed a new contract with Feyernoord, one that keeps him there till 2021. He is pencilled in as a starter this season. Games: 0 Patrick Hutt, Xolos Tijuana, 1.3m: Patrick's performances for Xolos may result in him getting called up by the US national team. He's been named in a provisional squad although some in the media are saying he's not ready. Games: 0 Kuji Chagulia, free: Kuji is still waiting for an offer to come in at this time. Games: 0 Strikers Rob Nielsen, Marseille, 18.5m valuation: Rob will again lead the line for Marseille this year and will hope for some success at club level. Games: 0 Brian Bennett, Nice, 525k valuation: Brian's contract expires at the end of this season and he may be in danger of not getting renewed. Hopefully he does well enough to get a new contract. Games: 0 Roger Berisha, Evian, 4.7m valuation: Roger will be rotating as a starting forward for Evian this season and hoping that he will get more starting opportunities as opposed to coming off the bench. Games: 0 |

End of Season 2018/2019
3 players have retired from football, unable to find new clubs. Goalkeepers Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 4.6m valuation: Jace had a good year as the Feyernoord number 1 and was named as the third best keeper in the Eredivise. He also picked up his first 2 caps for Holland this season. Games: 40 games (1 as sub), 39 conceded, 12 clean sheets, 2 MOM, 6.88 rating Al Mighty, Torino, 3.4m valuation: Al's Torino side came in 6th in Serie A, their best placing in years. Al himself had a decent year as the starter although no significant personal accolades for him. Games: 33 games, 38 conceded, 13 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6.94 rating Defenders Robbie Collins, Wigan, 2.3m valuation: Robbie may have made the wrong career decision as he elected to move to Wigan in January (a 975k transfer). QPR eventually ended the season in 2nd and were promoted to the Premier League while Wigan came in 10th. His season ended prematurely after the move when he broke a toe, hence his limited appearances. Games (for QPR): 30 games, 1 assist, 6.60 rating Games (for Wigan): 6 games, 6.92 rating Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 28.5m valuation: Flere is very happy at Monaco although he isn't playing as regularly as before. Hard to complain when he's winning titles and enjoying life by the Riviera though. Games: 21 games (6 as sub), 3 assists, 7.20 rating Rohan Edwards, Twente, 1.9m valuation: Rohan finally gets the chance to play regular football and he shows that he has some ability with the Twente first team. He was appointed as the vice-captain of the side as well. Games: 27 games (3 as sub), 1 assist, 6.70 rating David Ginsberg, Rennais, 205k valuation: David will not be at Rennais next season as he signed a Bosman with Celtic. His last year with Rennais was quite good though as he played well and the club came in 4th. Games: 35 games, 3 assists, 2 MOM, 6.83 rating Midfielders Jawouk Bafou, Man Utd, 775k valuation: Jawouk shows that he can play football, at least at the League 2 level, as he was good with Fleetwood. This is also the season where he started the most games in his career. Games: 24 games, 2 assists, 1 MOM, 7.14 rating Jake Chippin, free: Jake has retired from football as he was unable to find a club to sign him on. [Apologies, didn't turn on keep history after retirement so I don't have stats right now] Career Games: 0 Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 3.8m valuation: Deacon had a respectable season with Genk as he created 9 goals for the first team. He returns to Lorient after the season with his future still up in the air. Games: 23 games (1 as sub), 9 assists, 6.66 rating Shane Christopher, retired: Shane has retired from football. His career saw him sign with Dinamo in Croatia and spending one season on loan to Internacional in Brazil. He was never able to hammer down a regular first team spot after the loan though. Capped 5 times by South Africa as well. Career League Games: 70 games, 2 goals Benton Gale, Everton, 11.75m valuation: A good signing for Everton as he played well to justify the price paid for him. He was second in the team with 8 assists. His next challenge will be to get an England call-up. Games: 34 games (3 as sub), 1 goal, 8 assists, 6.96 rating Michael Samuelle, Leverkusen, 70k valuation: Michael finishes the season with Chemnitz and he played well during his stint. However, his contract expires soon and there's no indication Leverkusen will renew it. Games: 13 games (2 as sub), 3 goals, 1 assist, 2 MOM, 6.88 rating Eddie Chilton, Fulham, 7m valuation: Eddie and Fulham finally sort out their differences as he signs a contract that keeps him with the club until 2022 and he also plays a much larger role with the first team. He definitely showed an eye for creating from the wing, with 9 assists. Games: 36 games (17 as sub), 1 goal, 9 assists, 6.79 rating Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 3.3m valuation: More regular playing time for Dex this year as he made 25 appearances for Feyernoord. Managed to pick up a runners-up medal in the Dutch Super Cup. Games: 25 games (7 as sub), 4 assists, 6.57 rating Patrick Hutt, Xolos Tijuana, 2.7m: Crazy how quickly things can sometimes change for the better in football. Patrick has managed to keep himself fit and he's playing great football for Xolos and has now been capped 9 times for the US. Games: 22 games, 2 goals, 4 assists, 1 MOM, 7.35 rating Kuji Chagulia, free: Kuji has retired from football. He started at OB in Denmark and was decent enough there for a big move to PSG. However, the suspicion is that the move to PSG pretty much killed his career as he was never able to prove himself there and found opportunities very limited thereafter. Career League Games: 69 games, 15 goals Strikers Rob Nielsen, Marseille, 20m valuation: Rob finishes the season without any titles as Marseille come in 3rd in Ligue 1. He's a very good player but the suspicion is that he needs to be a little more predatory. Pretty much the first choice striker for the US national team side, with 52 caps to date. Games: 37 games (8 as sub), 11 goals, 4 assists, 2 MOM, 6.96 rating Brian Bennett, Nice, 725k valuation: Brian signs a one year extension to his contract, which now expires in 2020. He was a part-time starter for Nice but was unable to push them back into Ligue 1 as they finish 5th in Ligue 2. Games: 23 games (7 as sub), 6 goals, 6.68 rating Roger Berisha, Evian, 2.1m valuation: Roger also had his chances to play this season but Evian had a bad year and were relegated. Will Roger look to move as a result? Games: 24 games (11 as sub), 7 goals, 6.91 rating |

Start of Season 2019/2020
Goalkeepers Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 5.5m valuation: Jace will be the starting keeper at Feyernoord. Some controversy over whether he is good enough to be the Dutch goalkeeper though. Games: 0 games Al Mighty, Torino, 3.7m valuation: Al will be the starting keeper at Torino. Games: 0 games Defenders Robbie Collins, Wigan, 2.3m valuation: Robbie will be a starter for Wigan in the Championship. Games: 0 games Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 22.5m valuation: It looks like Flere may have won the starting RB position as De Sciglio will be the starting LB. Games: 0 games Rohan Edwards, Twente, 1.6m valuation: The FC Twente vice-captain starts on the bench this season. Hopefully he still gets meaningful playing time. Games: 0 games David Ginsberg, Celtic, 2.3m valuation: David should be a starter at Celtic but it may take a little longer than expected because he tore his calf muscle during the pre-season. Games: 0 games Midfielders Jawouk Bafou, Man Utd, 600k valuation: In yet another indication that Jawouk's career will not be at Old Trafford, he has been sent out on loan again, this time to York in League 1. Games: 0 games Jake Chippin, free: Jake has retired from football as he was unable to find a club to sign him on. Career Games: 0 Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 3.1m valuation: Deacon is back at Lorient where he's not entirely happy. Pencilled in as a starter. Games: 0 games Shane Christopher, retired: Shane has retired from football. His career saw him sign with Dinamo in Croatia and spending one season on loan to Internacional in Brazil. He was never able to hammer down a regular first team spot after the loan though. Capped 5 times by South Africa as well. Career League Games: 70 games, 2 goals Benton Gale, Everton, 12.5m valuation: One of the first names down on the Everton team sheet, Benton will look to impress again this year. Games: 0 games Michael Samuelle, free: Will Michael be the next player to retire? He was released by Leverkusen but actually had a chance to sign with Ascoli. He turned down the contract though, on the basis the wages were too low. Games: 0 games Eddie Chilton, Fulham, 7m valuation: Eddie and Fulham finally sort out their differences as he signs a contract that keeps him with the club until 2022 and he also plays a much larger role with the first team. He definitely showed an eye for creating from the wing, with 9 assists. Games: 36 games (17 as sub), 1 goal, 9 assists, 6.79 rating Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 2.9m valuation: Dex has been transfer listed at Feyernoord, with an asking price of 2.6 million pounds. He's got 6 clubs interested in him though but all only want him on loan. Games: 0 games Patrick Hutt, Xolos Tijuana, 2.8m: Patrick continues to impress for Xolos and is now a mentor for a younger player as well. Games: 0 games Kuji Chagulia, free: Kuji has retired from football. He started at OB in Denmark and was decent enough there for a big move to PSG. End of Season 2019/2020
Goalkeepers Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 7.5m valuation: Jace had another good year with Feyernoord and picked up a Dutch cup medal with the team. He came in 3rd in the Eredivise Goalkeeper of the Year voting again. There were rumours of Liverpool wanting to sign him but Jace signed a new contract with Feyernoord till 2024 to end those rumours. Capped 3 times for Holland. Games: 44 games (2 as sub), 37 conceded, 20 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6.93 rating Al Mighty, Torino, 3.9m valuation: Al is enjoying his time with Torino, being the clear number 1 in the side. He managed to pick up 2 Serie A team of the week awards this season. Games: 46 games, 47 conceded, 15 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6.75 rating Defenders Robbie Collins, Wigan, 3.6m valuation: Robbie had a solid season in the Championship and was instrumental in Wigan's first place finish in the Championship. He will be playing in the Premier League next season. Capped 18 times for Ireland so far. Games: 48 games, 1 goal, 1 assist, 7.00 rating Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 37.5m valuation: Will Flere be at Monaco next season, after winning everything there is in France for multiple years now? Rumours were that Barcelona were interested in one of the best defenders in Ligue 1. Games: 34 games (5 as sub), 1 assist, 7.33 rating Rohan Edwards, Twente, 3.1m valuation: Rohan finally signed a new contract that paid him more than 500 pounds a week (he's now on 2.9k a week, which is still really low). He picked up a Dutch Cup runners-up medal this season but he suffered from some injuries that kept him out for some time this season. Games: 20 games (1 as sub), 3 assists, 6.73 rating David Ginsberg, Celtic, 3.2m valuation: Poor David. He came back from his injury to establish himself as a key player in the Celtic squad but then suffered a season ending injury when he tore his cruciate ligaments. He will probably start next season injured as well. Capped 30 times for the US. Games: 20 games, 3 assists, 4 MOM, 7.00 rating Midfielders Jawouk Bafou, Man Utd, 24k valuation: Jawouk had a good season at York and they narrowly missed out on promotion when they lost in the League 1 playoffs. He's out of Old Trafford though as no new contract has been offered but he has shown he is able to play at the lower levels. He set the York record for most assists in a season. Games: 49 games (2 as sub), 13 assists, 5 MOM, 7.16 rating Jake Chippin, free: Jake has retired from football as he was unable to find a club to sign him on. Career Games: 0 Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 5.75m valuation: Deacon established himself as a key component of the Lorient side in Ligue 1 and more will be expected of him next season. Capped 3 times for Denmark so far. Games: 28 games (2 as sub), 3 goals, 3 assists, 6.83 rating Shane Christopher, retired: Shane has retired from football. His career saw him sign with Dinamo in Croatia and spending one season on loan to Internacional in Brazil. He was never able to hammer down a regular first team spot after the loan though. Capped 5 times by South Africa as well. Career League Games: 70 games, 2 goals Benton Gale, Everton, 15.25m valuation: Benton has been capped 2 times by the US and he has been fantastic in the Premier League, although Everton only finished 10th. Games: 31 games (3 as sub), 4 goals, 7 assists, 1 MOM, 7.28 rating Michael Samuelle, free: Still out of contract but with a couple of clubs still sniffing around. Games: 0 games Eddie Chilton, Fulham, 15.75m valuation: Eddie started a lot more games this year although his overall numbers were slightly down. It's a little odd because he has now been capped by both England and the US, although it looks like the US is his choice. Games: 39 games (5 as sub), 1 goal, 4 assists, 1 MOM, 6.77 rating Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 2.2m valuation: A poor season for Dex as he was unable to find a club willing to purchase his services. He still wants to stay but that looks unlikely and his contract will expire next season. Games: 1 game (1 as sub), 6.10 rating Patrick Hutt, Xolos Tijuana, 3.5m: Patrick had another good year for Xolos as he showed consistency in his performances. Capped 12 times for the US. Games: 34 games, 5 goals, 6 assists, 2 MOM, 7.04 rating Kuji Chagulia, free: Kuji has retired from football. He started at OB in Denmark and was decent enough there for a big move to PSG. However, the suspicion is that the move to PSG pretty much killed his career as he was never able to prove himself there and found opportunities very limited thereafter. Career League Games: 69 games, 15 goals Strikers Rob Nielsen, Marseille, 23m valuation: Rob had a relatively poor season as he suffered from niggling injuries and only managed 6 goals in all competition. It got to the point the media were wondering whether he deserved his call-ups to the US national team. Games: 27 games (7 as sub), 6 goals, 6.80 rating Brian Bennett, Nice, 71k valuation: Brian's time in Nice is done but he leaves on a high as he guided them to promotion. Hopefully someone picks him up next season but his 17 goals should impress potential suitors. Games: 36 games, 17 goals, 3 assists, 1 MOM, 6.92 rating Roger Berisha, Evian, 210k valuation: Roger is leaving the club as they could not agree on a new contract. He played decently in Evian and also helped them to promotion with 14 goals. Games: 36 games (16 as sub), 14 goals, 2 assists, 1 MOM, 7.06 rating |

Worried Roger might not find a club, even after a solid season. His value went into the tank after not being wanted. They must have continually offered him out with no suitors.

Start of Season 2020/2021
Ugh just realised I simmed past the end of season so I don't have an update for the world. 2 big money moves, hopefully they work out well for those players. Goalkeepers Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 7.5m valuation: Jace has been appointed as the Feyernoord vice-captain and will be the starting keeper. Games: 0 games Al Mighty, Torino, 4.3m valuation: Al will be the starting keeper for Torino. Games: 0 games Defenders Robbie Collins, Wigan, 3.6m valuation: This will be Robbie's first season in the top flight with Wigan. He will be hoping to marshal the defence so they don't concede too many and avoid relegation. Games: 0 games Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 26m valuation: Flere will be the starting RB for Monaco again but he has low morale for some reason which isn't immediately obvious. Games: 0 games Rohan Edwards, Twente, 3.5m valuation: Rohan is appointed as the Twente vice-captain again and should be a starter. Games: 0 games David Ginsberg, Celtic, 3.4m valuation: David should be a starter for Celtic this season but he starts the season injured because of last season's injury. He will be eased back into the first team but only expects to be fully fit around the end of the year. He won the Scottish Premier League with Celtic last season, his first major win. Games: 0 games Midfielders Jawouk Bafou, free: Surprised Jawouk hasn't been picked up yet by any club. Games: 0 games Jake Chippin, free: Jake has retired from football as he was unable to find a club to sign him on. Career Games: 0 Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 5.25m valuation: Deacon starts the season with poor morale even though he is one of the first names on the Lorient team sheet. He may be a little fatigued as he was part of the Danish team that came in 2nd in the European championships. Career League Games: 70 games, 2 goals Benton Gale, Tottenham, 22.25m valuation: Benton made a big money move to Premier League champions Tottenham in the offseason for 17.25m pounds and they will be looking to him to help in their title defence. Games: 0 games Michael Samuelle, free: Still out of contract but with four clubs still sniffing around. Pretty sure he retires if he elects not to sign with anyone this year. Games: 0 games Eddie Chilton, PSG, 12.75m valuation: Well now, this is interesting. PSG came in with a 19 million pound offer for Eddie and it was accepted and he's now playing in Ligue 1. Will he get enough games in France or will he be relegated to the fringes? A new 54k per week contract makes everything better though. Games: 0 games Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 2.1m valuation: Dex has been taken off the transfer list but his contract comes to an end at the end of the season. He needs to play for a new one or else hope a new club comes knocking. Games: 0 games Patrick Hutt, Xolos Tijuana, 3.6m: Patrick continues to be an integral part of the Xolos first team and is now a mentor for a younger player. Games: 0 games Kuji Chagulia, free: Kuji has retired from football. He started at OB in Denmark and was decent enough there for a big move to PSG. However, the suspicion is that the move to PSG pretty much killed his career as he was never able to prove himself there and found opportunities very limited thereafter. Career League Games: 69 games, 15 goals Strikers Rob Nielsen, Marseille, 23.5m valuation: Rob will be looking to improve on last season's performance, which was below his normal standards. 3 English clubs are eyeing him this season, Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs. Games: 0 games Brian Bennett, Nice, 3.2m valuation: Surprisingly, Brian and Nice work out their differences and he's back, signing a 4 year contract at 12.5k pounds a week. Widely regarded as indispensable to the club. Games: 0 games Roger Berisha, free: Apparently the 14 goals he scored last season isn't attractive enough as Roger hasn't been able to find any suitors so far. Games: 0 games |
