Slow and Steady

Mar 24 - My explorer has passed away

Apr 23 - I order a Post Office in Lancashire

May 2 - Rebels in Ayrshire

May 14 - Defeated

June 11 - Innu expands and more are sent

I figured out why Portugal likes Unami. 1500 natives with no aggressiveness means you can colonize it and there is no chance of an uprising (unless another pays for it)

Sept 1 - I have 2 Carracks on a patrol around all of our colonies to keep off pirates and help get us the tarriffs.

Oct 1 - Naval Supplies in Labrador

Oct 7 - Austria annexes Switzerland

I am still the Papal Controller, and I can choose to Excommunicate again. Who do I want to take out? No one really. Austria is waaaaaay too big, so I’d like to do them but they are ruled by a Regency Council right now, so there is no one to hammer.

I think I should have taken the land from England instead of vassalization.

I can lift Excommunication for England

I Excommunicate Sweden

Oct 13 - Innu expands and I send in more colonists

Feb 14, 1494 - Expansion of Innu

Mar 1, Gloucestershire and Marches are now cores. Government tech increase

Mar 6 - I extend the Road Network in Lancashire. This costs me a magistrate.

+3% local tax, +0.05 magistrates annually, extra trade and manpower too

Want to know something interesting? The Tyrone O’Neills are in the throne of France, Sweden, Oldenburg, Aragon and Brabant. Sort of like the Hapsburgs on a smaller scale.

June 27 - Innu expands and becomes a major colony, it gets an extra manpower and some manpower from the mission. Our new mission is to have a larger army than Portugal which is actually very doable.

Innu - I order a fort here. 1602 Irish Catholics, fishers, 5.07 ducats annually

I order a workshop in Gloucestershire

July 1 - Our Naval advisor has died. I do not get another just yet.

Aug 25 - Mission accomplished. The next one is Fortify Innu, which I am working on anyway

Sept 7 - Today we lost all of our Trade Stations because the Papal States captured Venice, and there are no more Trade Leagues to jump into.

So since there is a Tyrone O'Neill on the throne in Sweden, does that mean you excommunicated a relative? Heh.

The Irish Spread

Feb 8, 1496 - RM with England, Northumberland

July 3 - Rm with Castille

July 23 - Workshop in Wessex and Cornwall

Sept 3 - Oldenburg rejects RM offer

Oct 6 - Rm with Oldenburg.

Oct 8 - Rebellion in Wessex

Nov 11 =- Rebels annihilated

Dec 5 - I build a Road Network in Yorkshire

Dec 16 - Castille annexed Benin, Oyo, and other African nations

Dec 23 - I send my Conquistador inland from Innu and have discovered Quebec, a Wasteland

Feb 19, 1497 - Rebels spilled over from Burgundy into Auvergne, so I ask for Military Access from France and they grant it, so I can put an army there and kill the rebels of my vassal

Apr 1 - Both Unamakik and Epekwitk are now full cities.

Apr 20 - We won in Auvergne

Here are our new provinces

Unamakik: Building a fort, 7.42 ducats sent to us in the fur trade by 1200 Irish Catholics This is an island next to another island, and has a straight crossing to Acadia.

Epekwitk - Also building a fort and also Irish, Catholic and fur. 1500 people, 7.42 ducats made for us Also a straight to Acadia

Apr 30 - France reports that the spread of Protestanism happened to them.

Where are the Protestants on the map? Auvergne, Poitou, both provinces of Auvergne, my vassal, Lyonnais, Rouergue, Nevers, Brunswick, and Wurttemburg,

Expansion Slowly

July 2 - Labrador expands and I send in more.

Oct 8 - Sweden is getting the Reformation Branches Out. They have converted to Reformed.

Reformed already? Crazy However, Sweden is now not excommunicated anymore

Nov 9 - Labrador expands and I send inmore

Jan 1, 1498 - Scotland has converted to Reformed, as has their province of Highlands, and our realtions drop.

Feb 4 - Scotland and Auvergne rejoin my allaince when I make them alliance offers

Mar 24 - Labrador is now Reformed. Weird.

Apr 20 - Sweden is having Religious Civil Disorder

May 2 - I have sent a few gifts to my vassal Auvergne

May 10 = Castille annexed Kongo

July 28 - Labrador expands. They are Catholic again. When a colony of another religion gets colonists, it changes to the new religion. That way, you can “convert” colonies captured from other powers rather quickly.

I fund some Norweigan Nationalists in Orkney since Sweden moved away. Succ (87%) not discovered (only 33% of it)

Nov 1 - Acadia attacked by savages. I send in more just to buffer the colony.

Dec 1- Labrador now a full city, and the mission complete

Labrador: 1500 Irish Catholics, Naval Supplies, I order a level fort here, 3.7 ducats, next to Innu.

On Vassals

Do you know what the chance is to annex England? Unlikely. Not Maybe, and not Very unlikely, but just unlikely. That’s a shot worth taking to my eyes. It’s probably just 20% or something.

The factors are there - low badboy, high prestige, solid diplomacy skill, their ruler is Excommunicated,

Offer rejected Gift will be sent in the future to make up

Sept 11 - I go to war with France against Corsica.

Holland too.

I send an army in.

Nov 5 - I begin a siege of Holland province

Nov 20 - Massachusetts expands and more are sent

Jan 3, 1503 - I land a second army in Friesland

Jan 12 - I win and begin a siege there too

Jan 18 - Holland falls

Jan 25 - I destroy some ships in the Coast of Holland

Jan 27 - I decline a peace offer of 150 ducats from Holland

Feb 24 - Friesland falls

Holland is forced by the sword into being my vassal

I lose another advisor but I find a third three stat Navigator in the advisor pool and hire him.

Where can I colonize now?

I send colonists to Bermuda and Unami

Apr 6 - Corsica accepts our White peace offer

Apr 11 - Holland is now my ally

England rejects annexation

Apr 25 - Massachusetts

May 30 - Today our King had a boy, Muchadh. June 3 - RM with Holland

June 10 - Oldenburg agrees to be my ally

France is having some real problems with religion rebels

Aug 22 - I pay to put some Norweigan rebels in Orkney - 4000. I was caught and failed once.

Aug 25 - East Anglia Univ Class of 1503 - To the Adminstration

I enact Land Reform in Lancashire

Sept 9 - My colonies have taken in Bermuda and Unami

Oct 2 - Native uprising in Abnaki

Dec 10 - Rejection by England of annexation

Dec 17 - The Pope did something I would have done a long time ago and excommunicated Austria, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Feb 1, 1504 - Production tech Increase

Mar 3 - England rejects annexation

Forget England, I just decide to annex Northumberland

Northumberland - 31289 English Catholics, 16.85 ducats made, 7 Revolt Risk, cloth, south of Lothian, east of Cumbria, north of Yorkshire, with a temple.

A Continental Commitment

Now I turn my eye towards Brabant, which has a province I want, Antwerp, a COT

July 16 - Stadacona expands

July 24 - Colony established in Manhattan and I send in more colonists

Aug 1 - NLD -Mahican

Aug 26 - My army lands in Antwerpen and begins a siege

Oct 3 - I land a second army in Zeeland

Nov 27 - I get an event - The O’Neills.

The O’Neills in Oldenburg are having problems. I send them money, increase our relations, and gain prestige - the other option was to hit the relations.

Nov 28 -0 Oldenburg is our ally again

Jan 1, 1506 - Acadia hit by natives again

Jan 7 - Manhattan expands and more colonists are sent

Jan 14 - Antwerp fell

Feb 2 - I decline white peace offer

Feb 14 - I failed an assault on Vlaanderen

Feb 22 - Zeeland falls

Mar 7 - Victory over the Brabant navy

Mar 9 - Vlaanderen falls

Despite a big warscore, Brabant would not release a vassal or cede any provine to me. I continue

Mar 25 - Failed assault on the Brabant captial of Breda, but we left behind only 71 defenders

Apr 2 - Breda falls after a new assault

Apr 12 - Brabant sends a peace offer for Antwerp, Vlaanderen and Zeeland. 16 prestige and 9 badboy

Before I accept, I have max prestige, so I use 10 to expand my influence over The Palatinate

Apr 15 - NLD - Damaraland, Kisarna, Luanda

I should have done this a while ago. Grabbing land in the lowlands when it was ready and open was something I should have been doing all along. Ah well, lesson learned.

Vlaanderen - 177193 Flemish Catholics, 36.55 ducats, cloth, marketpplace, Textile manufactory!!, workshop, courthouse, west of Antwerpen and next to Brabant in Brabant province, and France in Hainaut, Calais, and Artois 12% revolt risk

Zeeland - 25480 Dutch Protestant, salt trade, temple, 21.54 ducats, 9% revolt risk. East of Zeeland, south of Holland, west of Brabant in Breda and Brabant

Antwerpen - 275526 Flemish Protestant, cloth, 35.75 ducats, 10.5% revolt, Textile Manufactory!, marketplace, courthouse, Center of Trade, between Vlaanderen and Zeeland, next to Brabant as well

I send a missionary to Zeeland, it’s pretty cheap. I’ll have to save up to send one to Antwerp. Having two manufactories this early is great.

I will be leaving one of the armies here and taking the other back, and then assembling a new army for back

With our provinces going to it instead of our vassal Holland, Antwerp is now the most valuable COT in the world, more than 200 above Astrakhan.

Holland dropped to just 80, it lost all of its value when we moved.

Cooling the Populace

I muscled ourselves into a strong place in the COT

June 3 - NLD - Pocumtuk

June 24 - Manhattan expands and more colonists are dispatched

I make a National Decision - Colonial Expansion - I lose 3 to my badboy limit, but I gain cheaper costs to send out colonists and better colony growth

July 9 - Rebels in Antwerp

We currently control 4 cardinals. That really will help to drop our Badboy

July 27 - Rebels defeated

Something is going to happen in four years to blow the ocks off my colonial range, and then I will probably drop these three navigators in order to get advisors again.

Sept 29 - Cotton in Manhattan

Nov 6 - We are now the Papal Controller again

We have 5 Cardinals from Munster, Yorkshire, Gloucestershire, Lancashire, and Meath. England has two- one from London and one from Lothian.

Get this, the Excommunicate Bomb reloads in one month

Dec 8 - Manhattan expands

I send colonists to Stadacona, which I want to finish off

Feb 16 - 1507, France asks for my help in staving off the Papal States, but sorry France. I love ya, and I hope we can become allies again in the future, but youa re beging attacked way too much right now.

Apr 12 - NLD St Helena

Apr 13 - Aragon rejects our Rm offer.

I excommunicate Portugal

May 6 - Stadacona expands and I send one last group of colonists to it

June 1 - Land Reform in Yorkshire

July 20 - Fish in Unami

I discover that Portugal has been colonizing several prpovinces along the coast just south of us, so I again incite natives. I am caught once.

Aug 20 - Slider time

I go with maxed Aristocracy and I get 5 revolutionary rebel units in Lincoln

Sept 26 - We defeated the Rebels

Oct 2 - Stadacona expand sand is now a full province. I order a fort build.

Stadacona: 1535 fur trading Irish Catholics make us 10.53 ducats annually. Next to Kespek and Atikamekw

Dec 20 - Those rebels I set up in Orkney a long time ago have resulted in them declaring independence against Sweden, under the flag of Norway

We are now “Norway”’s ally. They are at war with Sweden, so perhaps Sweden will take them down, we’ll see.

Dec 23 - I discover Seminole, and the natives have been killed off and settled by Portugal, it’s a small colony but one I would be unable to take out.

Dec 27 - Austria takes a few French provinces like Savoie and Lyonnais in war.

Jan 24, 1508 - RM with Norway

Mar 1 - Land tech increases and we can upgrade infantry

I upgrade my cannon to Culverin. I upgrade my Galloglaigh Infantry to Reformed Galloglaigh Infantry

I generally choose units that are better on offense than defense

Mar 28 - Land Reform in Northumberland

Apr 2 - The two provinces of Scotland agree to become my vassal

Apr 17 - Gloucestershire becomes reformed

Apr 19 - France loses three provinces to Brabant in peace

I have the $$ to send a Missionary to Gloucestershire so I do

Apr 27 - Naval Supplies in Bermuda

I send some colonists to Micmac to start to finish a colony or two before July 30, 1510

May 1 - France has changed religion to Protestant

Aug 29 - NLD - Barahonas and Tortuga, controlled by Portugal

Aug 31 - I embrace the Counter-Reformation, which will help us get missionaries, their chances, and cost.

Sept 1 - Four province Brittany has declared independence from France

We enter into a Rm with them

Sept 18 - Micmac expands and I send in more colonists

Sept 29 - NLD Curacao

Oct 11 - France is dying. They have -3 stability, huge war exhaustion, and religion problems.

Oct 27 - NLD St. Thomas, owned by Portugal

I figure I might explore down in the Caribbean, and nip just one or two islandsm like any self-respecting colonial power would do.

Nov 27 - I do the Incite natives trick to wipe out the Portugese colony they just founded in Timucua, right above Seminole

I didn;t have internet for a day, so I played ahead but I haven;t got caught up yet in the dynasty. I can give you maps from 11 years previously, 1499. Or I can get you 1536, which is how far i played. I don;t think either will help. Tell you what, why don't I put in parentheses where a province is if it doesn;t use a modern day placename for colonization purposes?

I have colonists to Santee (Coastal South Carolina), Pamlico (Coastal North Carolina), Bahamas, Bermuda.

Unami is New Jersey. Manhattan, Massachiusetts, Delaware ,Mobile, Connecticut are exactly what you think they are. Abnaki is Maine. Taqamkuk and Beothuk together make up the island of Newfoundland. Acadia and Micmac are north of Maine up to and through the coast. Micmac is New Brunswick, and Acadia Nova Scotia. Epekwitk is better known as Prince Edward Island, and Unamakik beside it is direct east of Prince Edward Isle and known today as Cape Breton Island north of and part of Nova Scotia.

Stadacona is where the St. Lawrence River meets the gulf, and it is, tax base wise, the most valuable of these provinces in the area.

Kespek is between Stadacona and Micmac and Abnaki on the other, so it is adjacent to Maine. It is on the southern part of the Gulf of St. Lawrence

Seminole, where the Portugese are, is the southern half of Florida.

That should be most of where we are in order to help. As I send out more colonists and talk about new world provinces, I'll tell you where it is until I can get you caught up.

With The Canarias now a core, I can colonize as deep as Cuba from them, and as south as Bahamas and Turks from Vestbygen, although I still have a three star and four star navigator, giving me +20 and +15 percent to my colonial range.

Like I said, I just want to poach a couple of islands in the Carribbean, like you would expect any colonial power to do. I am currently working on Bahamas and Turks, and that’s fair. I was thinking of grabbing a couple of islands in the Lesser Antilles, and many are still available -

June 16 - Manhattan expands to 998

Antwerp now makes me 56 ducats annually, plus I make 72 annually from the COT

Dec 6 - I can move my National Focus for the next 25 years. I was considering dropping it on Antwerp. It would help with the Zeeland Missionary, rebels in all three states, and so forth. However, do they need it?

I could also send it to colonies. For example, I could send it to Massachusetts and then colonize Penacook (New Hampshire), Pocumtuk (Vermont), Narraganset (Rhode Island), Connecticut and Mahican and they would all get +50% colonial growth. That would be very powerful. Up until now, I have used this as a tool to control revolts from new provinces. Local provinces can get special decisions like Post Offices. However, sending this to Massachusetts would really help the colonial effort. On the other hand, my badboy has dropped to 4.2, and I feel that another gobble of land could really help, so I could save the Focus and use it for my next possessions. Are there areas I should look at for future expansion?

Since I have grabbed three lowlands provinces, I’ve pretty much accepted that Lowalnds expansion is acceptable. Where could I go hither?

Calais, is poor, and it’s right next to me. An English province owned by England with an English core only nets 11.23 ducats. Hainaut gets 12.32, Brabant itself is nice at 31.75, Breda, the capital of Brabant has 26.8, Utrecht gets 23.3 and those are all Brabant provinces. Holland and Friesland, controlled by my vassal Holland, get some dough.

I may not be France’s ally at the moment, but I still like them a lot. I don’t want to start grabbing French provinces like Artois or Picardie. I could attack three province Normandie or four province Brittany.. Who do I have a Cb against?

Reconquest on Auvergne, my vassal
Alliance on Sweden
Colonialism on Portugal and Castille
Holy War on Cherokee and Ottomans
Excommunicated on England, Pisa, Austria and Portugal
Trade Dispute on Sweden, Austria, and Castille
Colonial Conquest on Maya and Cherokee

Nothing there I can use. I could hope that, in a few years, I get the ability to Excommunciate whiel I am Pope, and take out someone, but that bomb cannot be used against non-Catholics, like Brabant and and Normandie. Wait, what am I doing?

I can send a spy to Fabricate Claims on Brabant. Cost is 108 ducats, 77% chance fo success, just a 36% chance of discovery, temporary CB on Brabant

Success, and not discovered.

Jan 27, 1516 0 I land a second army in Vlaanderen.

Feb 17 - I can Excommunicate. I hold onto it and DOW Brabant.

All of my allies are in. Bohemia, the HRE, also declares their support for Brabant, but Sweden, the Defender of Reformed Faith, does not.

I order my troops in.

Feb 19 - I get an event. Minorities Flock to Kespek. It gains 400 people, becomes protestant, and gains Religious Migration for 25 years. It is now self sustaining.

Kespek - 1559 Irish Protestants, 3.62 ducats, naval supplies, next to Stadacona, Micmac and Abnaki, plus Kwedech. Religious Migration means it gets +10% population growth for 25 years, but -10% missionary chance during that time.

Feb 23 - Pamlico expands and more are sent

Mar 16 - We win a battle in Breda against the main Brabant force

Apr 22 - Failed assault in Hainaut

May 15 - Hainaut falls after a second assault

May 30 - I decline a white peace offer

June 7- Brabant falls to a quick assault

June 25 - Failed assault on Limburg

July 9 - Limburg falls. Oldenburg have grabbed Gelre.

July 23 - Brabant offers me peace for Brabant, Limburg, Gelre and Hainaut. Now, Brabant I do want. Sure. No, not right now, I push on.

Aug 16 - Pamlico expands. It is now a full city. Colonists sent to Bahamas

Sept 5 - Breda falls. I order my forces to Utrecht,t he final Brabant province not in my hands

Sept 17 - Brabant offers me the same four provinces, over 300 ducats, and renege their claims on Zeeland. I do not immediately reject.

Sept 22 - Utrecht falls before both my armies and troops from Auvergne.

I send a peace envoy.

I take their money, the loss of a core, and three provonces - Hainaut, Brabant, and Limburg.

I move my National Focus to Brabant province.

Nov 29 - White Peace with Bohemia

Our new provinces:

Limburg - 44876 Flemish Reformed. Iron mines, 16.74 ducats. Temple, marketplace, courthouse and workshop. Next to Brabant, Breda, Munster, Berg, Koln, and Liege7% revolt

Hainaut - 63296 Wallonian Protestant, cloth, 17.25 ducats, 10.5 revolt. Temple, next to Brabant, Vlaanderen, Liege, Valenciennes, Cambray and Artois

Brabant - National focus, 115278 Flemish, cloth, Protestant, 9.3% revolt, 30.69 ducats, university, marketplace, temple.

I build Post Offices in Antwerp and Vlaanderen

We now have 15.6 badboy and time for more cooling.

Dec 8 - Rebels in Vlaanderen

Dec 26 - Austria is now Defender of the Faith

Dec 28 - the Papal States arenow Papal Controller

Jan 7, 1518 - Rebels defeated

Jan 13 - the Papacy revoked my Excommunication of Corsica

England has a new King, Henry V, and Queen Mary is dead, so they are no longer Excommunicated.

Mar 2 - Norway’s king died, and we form a personal union with “Norway” and their one province in Orkney

So my rebels long ago have borne fruit

Mar 22 - Unami is now a full city, mission accomplished, and I order a fort here..

New Mission - Colonize Powhatan

Unami - 2523 fishing Irish Catholics, making 10.79 ducats. Next to Manhattan, Delaware, and some inland unknown provinces.

I send colonists to Powhatan. 78% of taking, next to Pamlico, and I get colonists if it works, taxbase 6, I’m in. (Powhatan is coastal Virginia)

May 18 - Colonial Company founded, 200 colonists are put in Atikamekw. Look, fellas, I appreciate new colonies, but can you leave behind the clunkers? (The northern coast of the Gulf of St Lawrence, between Stadacona and Innu)

May 25 - Powhatan expands - I send in more

June 1 - France bankrupt.

June 14 0 Abnaki expands

July 31 - We get an event - Poor Iron. For the next year building military units will be more expensive

Aug 24 -Acadia Expands

Sept 1, Government Tech Increase. What do I want my new Idea to be?

I take Land of Opportunity, which adds 20% growth to colonies

Tuscarora, for example, is growing now at a rate of 88/year. That includes my advisor, the Idea, my decision Colonial Expansion, and being a bit narrowminded. You’ll note that I always wanted to change that slider, but I’ve waited while working on others in order to get this bonus. Plus, it helps with the Papacy stuff.

Ha... it's funny imagining Irish colonies in the Caribbean.

This dynasty is making me want EU3. I have EU2 but haven't played it in years.

Three More

Sept 8, I decide to take my last Caribbean possession, Cuba. I send colonists to Guantanamo, Havana and Moron. When Portugal or Castille have taken one of these, I have always immediately incited the natives against them, and now it’s my turn to colonize the entire island, and then I am done, and I will leave the others, like Jamaica, Guadeloupe, St Martin, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Curacao and Antigua for others. I also have no desire to enter South or Central America.

Oct 1 - Extend Road Network in Oxfordshire

Dec 3 - Powhatan expands

Dec 18 - Tobacco in Dominica

Feb 1, 1524 - Today is a great day. Acadia is no longer a colony!

Acadia - 2003 Irish Catholic make naval supplies like lumber, and make us 5.12 ducats in the process. Acadia is next to Micmac, Epekwitk and Unamakik

Feb 28 - Sweden annexed the Kingdom The Hansa

Mar 20 Okay, here we go.
23rd - Guantanamo - yes
31st - Havana - yes
15th - Moron - yes

Apr 1 - Wessex, Cumbria, and Lancashire are now cores

All three Cuban provinces made it in one (as a reminder, Catholics get +20% to hit with colonists, this is where I am supposed to be good)

Moron and Guantanamo have good low aggressive natives, and Havana, only in the middle, but with low ferocity.

Apr 28 - Minorities flock to Martinique. It is now a full colony:

Martinique - 3610 Sugar farmers, Irish Protestant, 7.21 ducats, Religious Migration

May 9 -Spread of Disease in Moron among the natives. I choose to assuage their pain. I lose 40 ducats, gain extra overseas income and colonist chance in Moron for a short while.

May 24 - Road Network in Lincoln, colonists to Conoy

July 1 - Abnaki has grown to be self sufficient

Abnaki - 2504, fur, Irish Catholic, 10.38 ducats, next to Micmac, Pennacook and an inland province named Kwedich, which is actually next on my colonize list.

I send colonists to Kwedich (inland Quebec, along St. Lawrence river up from Stadacona)

As you may know, I do have to pay upkeep on my colonies annually. With my current 13 colonies (Cameroon, Turks, Moron, Guantanamo, Havana, Pennacook, Atikamekw, Ungava, Delaware, Conoy, Dominica, Powhatan, and Tuscarora.) I have a monthly upkeep of 21.2 ducats at max. That’s not too bad at all. I get 76 annually from my COT in Antwerp, so that, alone, pays for my upkeep of several colonies.

Now, on the other hand, I have 11.9 inflation, because I am minting 38 ducats monthly to pay for military and navy and advisors. My navy is just 5, my military 18.3, and my advisors 1.6. So I am losing about 9 ducats a month, and I make a lot more annually in the annual taxes, so I make some money each year around January. Right now, I have 286 gold. You’ll note that I didn’t push that too much and build a bunch of forts in the new colonies this year, because I’m a bit cash sensitive right now.

The Irish Colonial Age Continues

July 19 - Road Network in East Anglia

July 24 - Tobacco in Tuscarora

Sept 1 - Trade Tech Increase

Oct 1 -Road Network in Gloucestershire

Oct 19 - Fur in Atikamekw

Nov 10 - Conoy expands

I think it is interesting that no country has sent colonists to Cape Verde. I’m sure everyone knows where it is now, and tons of European nations have the range, why not send otherwise useless colonists to grab a native free piece of land?

Dec 13 - Kwedech is the newest colony of ours.

Dec 15 - I get an event - Carnal Sins. Our King is enticed by a hot chick. I can counsel that he bed her and have a bastard, or keep chaste. Note, we do not currently have an heir. Meet our new, weak, heir, Cathal, with 6 Adm, 9 Dip, and 3 Military, but he’s weak cause he’s a bastard.

Jan 17, 1525 - Colonists dispatched to the tobacco fields of Conoy

Feb 1 - Land tech increase. We can now get better cannons

Apr 1 - Road Network in Cornwall

Apr 2 - Brittany accepts my offer for an alliance

June 1 - Damage from natives in Pennacook so I send in more colonists to shore up their defences

July 6 - Conoy expands

Oct 14 - Road Network in Glamorgan

Nov 5 - Pennacook expands

Dec 3 - Colonists sent to Kwedech

Jan 1, 1526 - I have several colonies coming due this year, so we can tighten up our colonization a bit

Feb 1 - Turks Islands is now self sufficient

Turks Islands - I order a level 1 fort here. 7.07 ducats made in the tobacco trade by the 2004 Irish Catholics here.

March 1 Powhatan too.

Powhatan - 2003, naval supplies, Irish Catholic, next to Conoy, Tuscaraora and Pamlico, plus an unseen inner province (Coastal Virginia)

Road Network in Wessex

May 8 Kwedech expands and more colonists are sent ot the inland province

July 1 - NLD - Monacan the inland province on Powhatan.

July 25 - Glamorgan converts

Sept 1- Conoy has grown into a city

Conoy - Level 1 fort purchased, 2500 tobacco farmers of Irish descent and Catholic worship. This port is next to Delaware, Powhatan and several unknown inland provinces, or perhaps just one unknown. (Maryland)

Sept 21 - Provence declared themselves independent from a dying France

Oct 1 - We lost the Dishonorable Scrum Cb against Russia

Oct 12 - Kwedech expands

Nov 4 - Naval Supplies in Pennacook

Dec 17 - Fur in Kwedech

Dec 28 - Tobacco in Havana

Jan 2, 1527 - Tobacco in Guantanamo

Feb 1 - Land Reform in Antwerp

Feb 27 - Coffee in Moron

Castille just warned Champa, and since I know that Champa is in deep Asia, they must be really far in exploration.

May 2 - I send colonists to Lenape

June 1 - Another native attack in Pennacook so I send in more colonists to help with the numbers

Nov 1 - In case you were wondering:

We have the best prestige in the world by far, with 84, next highest is Sardinia at 33.
Our inflation is over 12%, and that’s not good.
We have the third highest income in the world after Austria and Castille with their gold mines
Land tech is no longer high.. We fell here as money became a priority for a while. We are two-4 behind the leader in everything except government, where we are still the #1 tied with Austria and Brittany

Nov 4 Lenape colonization failed despite a 93% chance of taking. I sent in more colonists.

Nov 9 - Pennacook expandacook

Nov 13 - Minorities flock to Delaware and it is now a city.

Delaware: I build fort, 2149 Protestant Irish tobacco growers, make us 6.55 ducats. Next to Unami, Conoy, Lenape, and something else.

And that’s it. Not a lot of quality there other than London.

I order another army built for London. The Scottish provinces get 64.5 ducats spend on them total for three Missionaries. This is going to piss them off, so both of my current armies are moving up there.

I send a few modest gifts to some of my other vassals. When this happens, other vassals drop to 100 loyalty.

Armies are:

London
Antwerp
Hainaut
Fife
Lothian
Unami

Okay, I spend some cash to integrate England into my nation, and I’ll spend some more on some modest gifts over the next year. But, I gained 6 provinces without declaring war.

I paid a down payment years and years ago when I took England as my vassal instead of getting massive amounts of land, with the hope that someday I could finish the job and get London. Well, it just came due.

Dec 11 - Land Network in London, Kent, Calais

Jan 2, 1534 - I send colonists to Mobile, Monacan

Jan 14 - Aberdeen converts. That was quick.

Feb 6 - NLD - Bayougoula

Feb 14 - NLD - Karankawa

Mar 16 - NLD - Tamaulipas

Mar 21 - NLD - Campeche - Maya

Mar 30 - NLD Chitimacha

Apr 1 - Kwedech is now a full p[rovince. Because it is next to natives, I order a fort

Kwedech - 1505 fur traders of Irish descent and Catholic worship make us 9.48 ducats annually. This province is next to Stadacona, Hochelega, Abnaki, Kespek, Pennacook, the unclaimed Pocumtuk, and at least one unseen native province.

Apr 10 - Rebels in Lothian and London

Apr 22 - Lothian ones destroyed

July 5 - Despite a 92% chance of taking, we fail to establish a colony in Monacan, so I send in more

Aug 14 - Mobile is now a colony

I lose in London

Aug 23 - Bayougoula expands

Aug 31 - With a 99% chance of taking initially, I send colonists to Nunavik, next to Ungava

A Quick Interlude

Jan 12, 1545 -I burn all of my spies to kill two Portguese colonies within the Gulf of Mexico. It cost me about 75 ducats for them all, and I was never caught, (I had 86% chance of success and 31 of being caught)

Feb 1 - Wurzburg, Trier and Lorraine have all declared independence from Hesse,

Trier now separates Koln from the rest often Hesse provinces.

Bavaria has captured a bunch of Hesse provinces, and with this 5 now declaring independence, Hesse is down to 4 provinces. The past decade has not been kind to won of the early winners in this game.

My badboy is down to 2.9. Let’s take Koln

I do not know what will happen when those colonists arrive. Conversion? No clue

June 15 - Our peace with Brabant is up. I could take them and annex their final province. I can do that any time though, I think the time is ripe for Koln

Aug 13 - Kespek converts. I move the army to Kwedech

Aug 21 0 Guadeloupe is the newest Irish colony

Sept 2 - Berg converts

Oct 4 - Land Reform in Connecticut

I am making a map of the new possession so you can see

I draw a black line around the new possessions so you can see where they are and how big they are. Here are the new colonies:

Mohawk
Oneida
Onondaga
Cayuga
Seneca
Niagara
Huron
Ontario
Ottawa

They are all Shamanist and experiencing revolution. They are almost all fur. Ontario is grain, the rest are fur. They are all in the 3000-5500 population range. They make us between 2.23 for Ontario’s grain and 5.88 for Onondaga. Some provinces are Huron, others Iroquois. They should move to my culture when they convert.
