I will say this though, as a realist, Michigan will lose 38 - 21. The only way Michigan wins is if they keep their heads and make Pryor stay in the pocket. Once he gets out of it, with the way we tackle, we're done.

If Michigan loses their head though, this might be 56-10.

That ABC video package for the UM/OSU game was amazing. Sure the buzz isn't there for this game but wow that got me fired up.

Orange Bowl sniffing around Iowa. 48,000 fans went to the game in 2002. 40,000 got in to the game. The rest couldnt.

I was at that game and it was Kinnick stadium south. It was amazing.

That's about what I expected after that punt. It'll be nice when Tate learns to hold on to the ball once in a while.

If The Offense for Mi-Shit-gan doesn't get their act together this could be over by halftime. Granted it SHOULD be over by halftime, if not sooner, but I feel like being nice this year

The OSU throwbacks look great. Love the helmets.

Really? I was just thinking how nauseating I found them...I hate numbers on the sides of a helmet.

Michigan needs to finish these drives, the defense has been better than expected thus far.

There's always a strong contingent, but this year a lot of people sold their tickets off, and OSU fans gobbled them up.

It sucks but it is what it is.

It's really hard to find ways to think of how Michigan would pull out a victory today. I'm not surprised some Michigan fans bailed on this game.

I think the dam is going to burst. The Michigan D is going to be getting gassed and emotion only gets you so far.

UM has only 68 of a possible 85 scholarship players, and there's more of them on O then D.

Yup, that's exactly why the offense needed to take advantage early and they couldn't finish off those drives.

Does Michigan have that many players hurt, or is there something I'm missing? How does Michigan have 17 scholarships just laying around?

It's almost do or die time for the offense. We get the ball to start the second half, but we need to get points now and build back some momentum.

All the attrition from the past two years finally caught up. Classes that could have been bigger weren't, such as 09, rather then take a few more kids and over sign they pocketed the schollies, but then some kids left and all that.

Dola on D Michigan has, by my count, 26 scholarship players. Of those 26, I believe 4 are red shirting, and 3 more are true freshman.

One other note on the D: Michigan has not played Nickle once all season because we don't have enough secondary players who can actually play to do it.

Fuck it, I'll quad dola:

The D problems are on RichRod but also on Carr. His recruiting was not what it could have been the last few years. It's been a pretty reported fact he didn't do much to go out and find players, instead going only after kids he knew would commit because it's Michigan. There are tons of kids who could be here if the UM staff made a more concerted effort. It's why we're at where we're at with the current LB's and DB's we have.

I'm about done with Randy Shannon. I like what he's done in turning around the reputation of the program, but I'm convinced that he's just not a very good head coach. He was severely outcoached in the NC and Clemson games. He's getting outcoached today. Even some of the wins have come due to the Canes talent overriding his shitty coaching (see the awful pooch kick decision against FSU) or by luck (Wake Forest muffing a punt deep in their own territory).

Michigan needed anything but a 3 and out on that drive to have a chance. It's going to take the D nutting up for the first time in the third quarter in a long time.

There ya go. Vincent Smith is a kid I absolutely love. He is going to be the #1 RB next year, size be damned, he's just relentless.

Let's hope this doesn't turn into Wisconsin redeux, where they just ran and ran and ran and we just got gashed. It's looking like it so far this drive.

That is the dagger. This team hasn't showed much resiliency all year and just when it looked like the big stop was coming that happened. Great play call for OSU and great execution no doubt, but it seemed obvious based on the other 11 games so far.

Hate the fact Denard had consecutive plays there. I know he has game breaking speed but he is just going to run it without making an attempt to throw the ball and everyone knows it. Sprinkling him in every few series is fine for a play but don't give him multiple in a row unless you have faith him to throw it.

Just awful by Tate, but that's a true freshman for you. I would have to check but he is coming up close on having more turnovers then our QB's did last year. I know he and Robinson combined have for sure exceeded it.
