However, I have heard the same Marlins rumor.

What did the fan say to him exactly? Somebody was saying it was something really nasty. At least he chose to express himself with a finger, rather than with a chair.

He may not have great numbers this year, but he'd be an improvement for just about every pen in the league.

FYI from Rotoworld:

Reds Chief Operating Officer John Allen showed up in the Reds clubhouse yesterday in Denver. He spoke with Ken Griffey Jr. and manager Dave Miley, amonng others.

Guys representing ownership rarely show up on the final day of a road trip, but that's exactly what happened yesterday, and a shake up of the Reds appears to be inevitable at this point. Likely fallout would include the possible firing of Miley, while pitching coach Don Gullett and hitting coach Chris Chambliss are also on the chopping block. The Reds payroll went from $46.6 million to $61.8 this year, and along with that came higher expectations, which are clearly not being met. Jun. 6 - 8:27 am et

Firing Gullett? We have always had shit for pitching but somehow the Reds have always been in love with him, he's been a Red forever. But fuck it, I'm all for cleaning house.

He has had some luck with pitching in the past with people like Pete Schourek.

As for cleaning house the problem is that they won't fire all the people who need to be fired. It will just be Gullet, Chambliss, and Miley.

Better than Roberto Hernandez, Felix Heredia, Braden Looper and the rest of those bums. His ERA will go down 3 runs just by pitching in Shea instead of the Great American Ballpark.

The fun part is that in all his crying about fans booing him in Cincinnati and he goes to NY where they will boo him quicker than here if he sucks.

I really think something is wrong with his arm. I hope he does well though.

Another sad chapter in a sad book by Carl Linder, Paul Allen, and the rest of Reds management. I'm a fan who will stick with the team, win or lose, but Carl Linder knows nothing about running a baseball club. Neither does Allen, neither of them realize it either. Until the Reds get new ownership and leadership, I don't see us contending.

Atleast our relief pitcher Randy Keisler can bat.

1-2 coming into tonight relieving in the second, his 1 hit was a game winning rbi. Tonight, in the 3rd he leads off with a homerun. Stick that man in the field!

Check that, he is now 3-4 on his career after doubling to lead off the 4th!
