Bad OL play, mediocre QB play, penalties all over the place, and special teams mistakes. This is two good teams playing horrible football.

Just saw this from PFF. Some interesting stats in here...

Joey Bosa now has 20 total pressures across the three games he has seen snaps in for the Chargers since finally being unleashed. In the first of those three games he only played in 27 snaps, and if you look at his pass-rushing production on a per-snap basis, he actually has the highest pass-rushing productivity score in the NFL among edge defenders.

That’s right, on a per-pass-rush basis, Joey Bosa has been more productive than Von Miller.



While Miller has been generating a pressure once every 5.2 pass rushing snaps, Bosa has done it once every 4.7. His run-stop percentage of 9.7 is also good enough to rank in the top 10 at his position (and higher than Miller, by the way).

I would like to nominate the Dolphins. Here are the QB's that have started games for the Dolphins since 1999 when the Browns came back.

Jay Fieldler, Damon Huard, AJ Feeley, Ray Lucas, Brian Griese, Sage Rosenfels, Gus Frerotte, Joey Harrington, Daunte Culpepper, Cleo Lemon, Trent Green, John Beck, Chad Pennington, Chad Henne, Tyler Thigpen, Matt Moore and Ryan Tannehill.

Not saying they are the Browns but I am not too sure there is a Vinny Testaverde, Chad Pennington (in his prime) or Brett Favre among that bunch outside of 1 year of Pennington(Dolphins edition).

And then there's the Redskins. The first year+ of the Browns being back the starting QB was Brad Johnson. After that it's Jeff George, Tony Banks, Shane Matthews, Danny Wuerffel, Patrick Ramsey, Tim Hasselbeck, Mark Brunell (age 34+), Jason Campbell, Todd Collins, Donovan McNabb (age 34+), Rex Grossman, John Beck, RGIII, Colt McCoy, and Kirk Cousins. There was a good year or two in there, but not much and there has been a ton of bungling.

As in before the previous season he was projected as 1.1 in the draft.

Possibly, but so was Cardale Jones at one point. A think a lot of people liked him as a safe pick but questioned if he had the top flight athleticism to be an impact pass rusher which is usually what you expect when taking a DE in the top 5, much less as the top non-QB in the draft. I certainly remember his being picked there being portrayed as a surprise around the league, with many thinking he'd go towards the back of the top 10.
