That's already handled, unless Steve wants people want it hosted somewhere other then dreamhost (my host). Okay that was an inside joke.

Not really an extension of an older league as much as slightly favored nation status to people who I'm sure are good owners. Which isn't to say others are bad. Back when the RWBL was mercy killed there was some talk of reforming. At least trying to make it happen and adding a bunch of good new people.

I think the rwbl sox had like 10 owners.

I still have very fond memories of the 2009 Giants. That's the only title I've ever won in any online league.

I think there's about 3 openings by my count. For now, though, any new requests probably will be moving onto the waiting list, as I'm trying to get confirmations with a few (good old owner type)people for those last few spots.

I'm sure it will be one of those things where a few people decide they don't have time, etc, so as it gets closer to the actual opening of the league. Will work on getting forums set up over the next few days, etc.

I have never played online, but it seems from reading the OOTP board that it is usually a bad idea to start a league with a x.0 version of the game. Maybe I am just remembering an old version and I am wrong on this.

I'm don't mind taking another team to keep original RWBL owners with there old teams.

I'm new and know my place, just looking forward to being apart of an active league.

Besides even without the Man-Ram the Dodgers are rolling, life is good.

OOTP is usually somewhat decent about making sure that subsequent patches don't run leagues. But I imagine we won't start until the first patch is out, which to me usually seems like one comes out 2-3 weeks after release.

Would it be alright if we got some "outsiders" involved in the league? I got a buddy from another game that I talk to on MSN all the time and he mentioned how he got his pre-order in and is looking to join another league.

I know he'd be reliable, for sure.

EDIT: I just talked to him. And he's in for sure if theres room so count on another.

I have one more 18 hour day tomorrow. Friday and Saturday I'll have more time to invest into the forums. Start framing a basic structure etc.
Outsiders are fine. I just need to get back with a few people who might be in.

(right now I'm in the middle of my drug run and blackberry posting at 65mph)

I check these forums about once a year to see if a new FOF has come out. Strangely enough I pick the day when RWBL Redux is being created. I have never even posted here...
