I think Oakland did well - if they didn't love anyone, why not get a #2 and drop back? Plus I bet they drop back again and trade with the Niners.

Maybe those CBS guys I was sheepish about earlier weren't so stupid after all. 3 of 4 got that pick right (although one of them did have it coming via a trade with Jax)

Okay beloved Cards please don't mess up here...I could see CB Millner or a DT I guess. Or one of the guards...gotta cover all options

What's the latest a draft has gone without a skill position player being selected?

Have to be happy with the pick of Cooper-they need O-Line help so bad-was worried before the draft when Bruce Arians he said he liked the current Cardinals Offensive lineman that they wouldn't pick one in the first round, so breathing a sigh of relief.

Based on what? If they didn't love a player, why on earth should they stick to some stupid draft value chart if the talent distribution in this draft is in the depth?

Basically, if there board shows very little different between your 3rd and 12th pick, why not get value for it?

They could have gotten more for it is my argument. Arizona took a fucking Guard at 7. Eagles took the OT. Hold one of those teams hostage.

Wow, Rams gave up a 1, 2, 3 and 6 to move up from 8 to 16? I bet they could have moved to 3 if they wanted from the Raiders for that price.

Edit: Apparently, Buffalo is sending a 3 back as well. so really, its a 1, 2, and 6th round pick, and a 5 pick improvement for the Rams in the 3rd round.

I think they did, but they ran out the clock. You get what you can at that time. Not what if's.

At this point the guys they were supposedly targeting are all still on the board also in Floyd and lotuleilei .

Very happy they traded back, this isn't a normal draft year the #3 guy is pretty similar to the #12-15 guy. Only premiere players were fisher and joecjel

You're double counting the 1st rounder.

This is a buyers market to move up. Maybe Jags think about it for Geno?

How far do they think they need to move up though? Buffalo looks to be the first with the real need, and didn't the owner say they were looking for a franchise QB this draft?

I strongly suspect any team looking for one of those before this draft will still be looking for one after this draft.

Well, with Richardson to NY and the Panthers desperately needing a DT, looks as if San Francisco will have to move up pretty quick suddenly.

Wondering why not Floyd for the Panthers there, as he seems to be the more highly reputed DT. Could it be a matter of different techniques?

Is Floyd a fit in the 3-4? I think they may be interested in moving up for Vaccaro.

The Saints took who the Cowboys had targeted for their pick. Look for them to possibly move down and pick up a couple of more picks.

Didn't realize Floyd was a 3-4 guy. Can't see anyone else worth trading up for, and it's not like the team has a lot of holes (or roster room, really). Not really sure what the 49ers are going to do at this point.

I heard some reports that NFL scouts though Floyd was a mck draft wonder and teams didn't rate him as highly as the mom experts. Looks like that may be true

Bills didn't trade down and then take Manuel? I'm sure they could have dropped back and still got him.

Is it too early to speculate on which QB the Bills draft in 2016?
