The thing about PBF comics is that often you look at them and go "OK, not bad". You let your guard down, then you notice a detail that makes you spit beer out your nose.

OK, I get it now. I guess I hadn't figured out that she spotted the Cliff's Notes on the table. It's hard to tell that since she doesn't have any eyes.

Yeah me either. I was thinking along the lines of "she could read him like a book." But that wasn't funny at all.

Put me down as another person who didn't get that strip until now.
I've been a massive fan of PBF for awhile now. Can't remember where I found out about it, might have been penny-arcade.

I love this guy's stuff, though the one on the "gamer glossary - LOL" (4/6/07 or 4/7/07) really does strike some....resonance with this board. /tk

Never drank it but after that "ringing endorsesment" I think it's one I'll avoid. Meanwhile, I still thought of you when I saw the comic owing to the Texas thing...and the beer thing... /tk

Ksyrup reposted Subby's post so I just thought we were on re-runs for a few posts due to a writer's strike or something.

This is by far, my favorite PBF:
(Also, I always read these comics in Dmitri Martin's voice for some reason)

Those Garfieldless Garfields are great. I haven't done the comparisons, do they only pick the ones where it works out or are they all just great?
