You all feel like you owe it to him to pay homage to the man who has protected your Village all your lives. Unfortunately, as you all wake up... you find the Don's most trusted servant, an old soldier by the name of Neon_Chaos, garroted; a thin rope wound tightly around his neck. Was he protecting something? Someone? Accusations are hurled... and tempers flare. You all know this, someone will be dead by the end of this day. There is a small slaughter-shed near the Village's center... with knives and cleavers... the perfect place for executions. The game Begins with Day (1). Votes are due at 9PM EDT.

Simple villager, checking in. The only good first-day vote I ever cast was as a mafioso for a policeman in the last mafia game, so you probably shouldn't pay any attention to my first-day vote.

I don't want to get into a whole other pissing contest with another jerk, but I find it ironic that he was giving me crap about being upset about someone targeting me for reasons that had nothing to do with the game, and then he starts a brand new game by by doing exactly the same thing . Like I said before, my intention is for everything that happened in WWIX to stay there, but this kind of behavior by Jeff is pretty disappointing to me. Why is he trying to drag the issues from that game into this one? |

I'm not going to argue with a child, anyone who doubts me only has to read the other wolf thread or do a search for your posts. It's another game, but his antics will still carry over.

Don't really know anything about him, other than what I've seen in the other thread, but he was certainly a polarizing figure over there, and that's something the villagers can ill afford. For that reason, if for no other, I'll give Bug a pass (but vengeance is coming!), and

Even if he isn't involved with the mafia he isn't worth the headache. This is a game, in this game people accuse other people of being bad in order to flush them out, sometimes people are wrong. Realdeal can't seem to accept that someone may accuse him and when it happens he goes all diva and gives up over the course of about 500 posts to make his point. Not a person I want around very long.

Here's my defense
1. I am a villagers, and it is definitely not in the villagers interest to kill me. 2. I understand that people are upset from the WW IX. In my defense, I can say, I've been on FOFC a long time. I've been involved in many dynasty threads, including GB's epic X-Com dynasty. No one has ever had a problem with me until Blade made me angry in the last thread. 3. I had a problem with Blade, and I've explained why. But I played the game straight up the whole time other with the fact that I want Blade held to accoutn for bringing out of game stuff into the game. I helped the villagers, made good votes, and supplied the villagers with completely honest information. 4. Despite my problem with Blade, I have pledged that I will not bring it in here. Everyone knows my issues with him, but that was that game, and I'm prepared to move on. 5. If you choose to kill me, I will not hold grudges. But you will find that I am a villager. This is a perfect opporunity for wolves to get a villager killed and have an excuse. Watch the votes closely and at least don't bandwagon so you get no information from my death. |

The only explanation I've heard from you is "He's stupid". I still don't get your problem with him, but from what I can see he didn't do anything you or anyone else won't do at some point. Make a incorrect accusation when there was very little to go on. Quote:
No you said you won't bring it here as long as no one acts like Blade did. Blade acted perfectly fine. Quote:
It always is the first day, someone will get lynched off for some dumb reason 100% of the time. This is the best reason I've seen in awhile. |

Let me add the thing that set me over the edge with you. I'll ask you this one question.
Why did you vote for yourself when you were innocent and why did you not even change it when you were around at the end of the day and you could of saved yourself? This action alone makes you harmful whether you are a villager or mafia. Last edited by jeff061 : 08-13-2005 at 05:43 PM. |

Here's why i voted for myself:
If you look at WWIX, I didn't go looking for trouble with Blade. He picked me out from the start. That's OK, you got to vote for someone. But then he kept on about it, even when Digamma's PM's basically cleared me. What I was disappointed in is that when I became angry, perhaps we both had some blame, but no one held Blade to account at all. Everyone was mad at me, and I felt like there was some blame the victim involved. If anyone had just even said, yeah RD, Blade's reasoning didnt make sense, I would have been ok. But the fact that Blade did what he did, and then I found myself taking the blame made me want to make it clear that I shouldn't have been blamed, at least not completely blamed for the problems. So at that point, I did want to get lynched to show that I was a villager. Also, I didn't feel like it mattered much from a strategy perspective. I did, after all, get Blade killed, although i did think he was a wolf. The fact that he wasn't a wolf, made me madder, particularly when everyone was blaming me for something I didn't start. So people weren't going to believe me anyway after I got a villager killed. But once it was revealed I was a villager, people would know that the info I gave about the CoA was true. And as it turns out, that information should be valuable to them in that game when dealing with RA. I don't apologize for my feelings toward Blade, but I do feel bad for how it affected other people's enjoyment of that game. However, I never pulled the wrong way; I also helped the villagers, made the best votes I could, and gave true information when I had it. It just never made sense to me why everyone ganged up on me and Blade came out smelling like roses. That upset me, but as I said before that's something that won't get brought into this game. |
