Calais Campbell less than one week removed from being taken off the field on a cart, recovers a fumble near the goal line...sweet

Heck, I'm an Eagles fan and I like Eli fine. I don't have much of a problem with Romo either - seems like a nice guy, and amuses me with his inevitable late-game fuckups. It's early to tell with RGIII. I want to like him, but I'm not so sure after this offseason, the Gatorade documentary, getting all chummy with Dan Snyder.

(Brady though? Ehhhh.......)

That's my point. There's nothing unlikeable about RG3 other than he doesn't play for your team.

If I were an Arizona fan I'd be pissed at how slow, meandering, in the field and lackadaisical my offense played and looked in the last four minutes, especially Palme,r with no spring to the line, and such. I mean he just gave it up right there.

One QB to hang out with? I'll take Blaine Gabbert. Poor guy seems like he needs a friend right now.

FIXED!

I went to bed way before then so didn't see that, but I'm pretty pissed with the offense in general. Carson Palmer is clearly not the answer at QB, so glad he's on just a one year deal. Mendenhall clearly not the answer at RB either. Palmer got sacked 7 times (which is probably why they looked so slow at the end), so the offensive line is just as bad if not worse than last season's already abysmal line. Somehow someway they have to find players they can rely on at these positions or they will keep right on sucking.

And they are winning just enough that they will likely lose out on any good QB prospect in the draft, though like last year not sure how many good ones there will be besides Bridgewater.

I don't think anybody should be looking at Palmer as the answer anyway. I think he was there to filling in for a year so they had some sort of live body at QB. I'm not so sure missing out on Bridgewater is a bad thing.

I'm very curious to see how Case Keenum does this week. He was somebody I hoped my beloved Cards would take a chance with. The answer is probably not good playing in KC, but still curious.

After that review found Lynch short of the goal line by 6 inches, Seattle dials up a PA instead of giving it back to him...

Given Lynch is on my fantasy team, I endorse his message.

It's one thing when guys like Terrell Suggs go after Brady... it's just funny when Jets rookies do it. Way to represent U Missouri!

Sheldon Richardson, blunt force trauma on the field and off, can’t wait for the opportunity to mete out justice Sunday in the rematch against Tom Brady and the Patriots. “It’s very intense. … Cheap shots and all,” Richardson told The Post… “Why do we make rules after he gets hurt?” Richardson asked. “I don’t know why a bunch of stuff. They made the Tuck Rule back when? 2000 when? Tom Brady rule, right?

Trash talking worked out real well for him when he called Georgia old and said Mizzou would destroy the Dawgs. He must be taking inspiration from that.

Dallas Cowboys projected to be $31 million over salary cap in 2014 - ESPN Dallas

Short version: The Cowboys are so far up Shit Creek without a paddle, they're about to go over Shit Falls, and end up in the Shit Ocean.

This isn't a good sign - I've just seen a big play warning 'interception return for a TD' on NFL.com, and immediately thought 'Who are the Texans playing this week?' (They're playing in one of the later games, for what it's worth.)

3 of the first 6 touchdowns scored today were defensive (2 pick six & a fumble return)

Awesome to watch the Dolphins continue to show their asses. Started 3-0, will likely be 3-3 here in a couple hours.

Late in the 3rd qtr of most of the early NFL games, only 3/16 teams have a RB over 60 yards so far. I know the position ain't what it used to be but dang.

Well, that's why you get more than one down. But still, he didn't look that sharp, and I don't think it was all the fault of the receivers.

Someone also needs to tell McDaniels it's ok to run it once in a while. They actually did pretty good when they did.

Especially with Brady spraying it all over the place.
