eNFL Predictions
Who do you think will dominate the eNFL this season?
Which teams do you think will surprise, and sink? Just trying to get something going! I think Tampa will dominate if they keep Sapp, and I think New Orleans will surprise! Cliff Bears GM

If I were the Bucs I would take a shopping trip to the AFC West. First there is my team, the Broncos, that has a fully developed back in Shaun Alexander. If that didn't pan out I would then head to Kansas City and see what kind of shape Larry Johnson is in post training camp. Also, Manning in New Orleans should be fun to watch this year.

I hope you're right about the second part there... Our offensive line should be fine (as long as my rookie T comes out ok of training camp), and I'm sure Manning will do much better than last season. But there's still too many holes on defense so it might be a long season. Besides our dividion is a damn hard one. |

I think I just have bad luck.
There was a problem with the server's hard disks over the weekend, so they had to take the entire department's info off-line around 10:30 this morning. while they manually rebuilt the directories. That took a few hours. BTW, I've received training camp files from 28 teams. Still waiting on Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Minnesota, and Washington. Deadline's in a little under an hour.

Anybody out there.....
What was your biggest Training camp Surprise? For the Broncos it was not an explosion, but a lack of Implosion. When 12 year vet CB Jimmy Spencer went down in week 11 with a torn ACL I figured his football career was over. The end of the season rolled around and I fully expected him to retire. When Spencer anounced he was going to make an effort to play one more season I eagerly watched his offseason injury progress. Week after week rolled by and there was no sign that Spencer was recovering from his major injury and now as a 13 year vet I expected the worse. Along came Training Camp and there was no doubt in my mind that Spencer was going to see a complete melt down. Spencer may not yet be fully participating in practice, but he is currently on schedule to be ready to assume his role as the Broncos starting LCB come opening day. This has to be the talk of this years Broncos training camp as this would of left a giganic hole in our secondary.

anyway, to answer your question...
my biggest surprise overall was how terribly it looks like treu handled the move to lg from center. we wont know till he plays some though. with treu not looking sharp and mo collins never looking like the answer, we were very surprised to see 4th year guard marquis sullivan cut by buffalo. so he is our biggest training camp surprise. throw in developing rookie guard badalyan, and we have 4 players we dont feel bad about starting at guard, compareed to 2 we were worried about. |

Division Winners Predicted
Anybody have any predictions for this seasons division winners?
In my division unless something happens to Farve, I would expect GB, but I would never count out Det, or Min. If Farve would just slow down a little it could get interesting. Cliff Bears GM

Tredwel, please put the receipt page on the new site, or list a few hours before in this thread whose file you don't have. I sent mine at least 5 hours ago, and assumed that you got it without any problem, but apparently you didn't get it
I just hope the player I was going to trade to Pyser didn't get hurt.. (or any of my other players for that matter whom I would have sat in the preseason.) Edited to add: I see the trade went through ok without the player getting hurt in the preseason

I'm in the process of transferring the necessary files to run the reciept page over to the backup site. I'm about to start my fantasy baseball draft, however, so any tweaking that may be necessary to make it run might not get done for a few hours.
Oh, and my vote for the biggest surprises & busts of the latest rookie camp (The percentage represent the amount of ability gained or lost): Surprises: 10. QB Howard Crook, 5(10), Minnesota, +13.0%. Despite the fact that he will be plagued with INT problems his entire career, Crook seems to have the arm strength and the accuracy to overcome that and become a good quarterback. 9. CB Harry Knight, 7(9), San Diego, +17.9%. Normally seventh-rounders only get a career of a few years. With some hard work, Knight may become a solid starter. He's definitely become than the borderline backup he was seen as before the draft. 8. S Troy Taft, 1(18), Atlanta, +18.8%. Despite being an obvious first rounder, early results have shown that Taft may exceed even those expectations and be a cornerstone of a lucky secondary for seasons to come. 7. QB Jack Bajwa, 6(18), Atlanta, +20.7%. Another QB making big leaps in the offseason. Isn't rated well now, but can learn a system and helm a team in a few seasons. 6. CB Harvey Foster, 3(31), Philadelphia, +22.8%. An excellent run stopper, and a very likely candidate to replace the aging Troy Vincent. 5. S Vinny Shannon, 4(16), Detroit, +25.4%. Looks to be a good balanced safety, not an outstanding one. Still, I'll take what I can get. 4. WR Lorenzo Gulley, 7(1), Carolina, +25.4%. Seventh round pickup, first round talent. With good hands and an affinity for the big play, look for him to shine after getting some experience. 3. RB Tommie Kadela, 7(29), Miami, +30.5%. Almost Mr. Irrelevant, but became Mr. Look-What-I-Found. A bruising back with the ability to catch the pass as well. 2. DT Dominic Buckley, 7(7), Houston, +34.8%. Brute force D-Lineman. If he learns a little technique, he will be very dangerous. 1. QB Gino Jansen, 4(24), Oakland, +40.4%. The obvious winner. A fourth round pickup, taken after media darling Glen Tucker and a host of other quarterbacks, this stud will end up surpassing them all. A great find for Oakland to replace Rich Gannon. Busts (Excluding players dropping less than 8 points): 10. G Matthew Badalyan, 2(19), St. Louis, -13.6%. Still looks to develop into a decent offensive guard, but lost a little lustre. 9. T Ethan Dawkins, 1(29), Tampa Bay, -13.6%. Despite a very low volatility, Dawkins took a pretty big hit, and doesn't much resemble a first round selection now. 8. QB Warren Sunia, 1(22), Chicago, -13.8%. Still the Bears' best QB choice for the future, but doesn't look to be the franchise's long-term selection. 7. FB Britt Llewellyn, 2(16), Dallas, -15.0%. A good FB, but not the great FB he was made out to be in the combine. 6. S Fred Stargell, 3(32), Oakland, -15.7%. Looked to be a steal in the third round, but the Raiders ended up getting even money on their pick. 5. G Kelly Neitring, 2(20), Seattle, -16.7%. Lost a lot of his potential in camp. Hopefully that won't happen in the future. 4. T Travis Frimel, 2(7), Houston, -17.9%. Rated 4.7 by the bureau, and that looks kind right about now. 3. CB Irv Petitgout, 2(26), Tennessee, -22.4%. Hard to believe that I actually had this guy on my chart, hoping he'd fall to me in round three. 2. OLB Leroy Bennett, Carolina, -30.6%. Seems unkind to put an undrafted player on this list, but any upside he once had just flew out the window. 1. CB Steven Chilton, 3(28), Pittsburgh, -34.7%. Biggest loser in the league this season, as I have him losing 17 points of potential.
