WOW - those stats are truly amazing, not only did we have 2- 1,000 yard runners but we had 2- 1,100 yard runners and each also had a bunch of yards recieving. Who was the leading reciever on our offense this season? And wade- I did notice the starting QB for Sacramento was our old back-up QB Houston, he was the guy who i originally wanted to be our starting QB. Its good to see he is atleast getting a chance to be a starter somewhere. |

Looks like Hammond really struggled the 2nd hald of the season, he's now at the bottom of my rankings!

Well I started Castillo on running downs the last 4 games. We will have to see how Hammond develops in the offseason. His ratings against the run have slipped significantly over the course of the season.
Overall the Dline picked up over the second half. Finley was exceptional. 11 of his 17 sacks came in the final 8 games. I am going to go ahead and run the playoffs now.

Louisville (10-7) at Little Rock (13-3)(-3)
Pritchett is still listed as Out. So we are going to have to rely on young Coghill to get us through this game. Code:
Injuries Roger Pritchett, QB - Strained Calf Muscle, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Lonnie Bell, MLB - Strained Hamstring, Probable, return unknown. Marc Loftis, TE - Sprained Lateral Knee Ligament, Questionable, full strength in 1994. C.J. Davison, LDE - High Ankle Sprain, Out, full strength in 1994. Riddick Finley, RDE - Sprained Ankle, Probable, full strength in 1994. Hardy Wooldridge, LT - Repetitive Concussion Syndrome, Out, full strength in late 1994. Deion Perea, FL - MCL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 1994.

And Coghill comes through with flying colors!!!!
What do we want to do for our next game? Pritchett is probable now. Do we go with him or continue to ride the youngster?

Pritchett is probabl for 1 week- i would say to start him...Coghill has done very well for us during the season but he seemed to be a little inconsistant. |

Wow. Pritchett comes in and throws 4 TD passes. And then goes down with a season ending injury. I think it is time that guy retires. His leg may fall off if he plays another game.
So it's up to Coghill again. We are heading back to the championship game!!!

Mazatlan (14-4)(-4) at Little Rock (15-3)
We are underdogs for the first time in quite awhile. I don't know what the odds makers are thinking. The Rollers defense doesn't even plan on giving up 4 points all game.

Unfortunately it is playing in the Mazatlan locker room. The defense didn't plan on giving up 4 points, but they did anyway. The D clamped down after Mazatlan scored on their first two possesions, but it was too late by then. Seems like we needed Old Man Pritchett for one more game.

Someone needs to tell Coghill we are a running team. Edit: I guess we didn't get to him in time. Last edited by Bee : 03-14-2003 at 10:36 AM. |

Seems like you needed to adjust the Injuries Slider down to a more realistic level.

I know you were just kidding, but I think the injuries have been pretty realistic. Pritchett has been banged up all year which seems reasonable considering he is 38. I am sure the injury prone factor for players goes up significantly in their late 30's. |

yep, I agree. We haven't had a rash of injuries where half the starters were out or anything like that. Seemed pretty realistic to me too.

Nooo!! Old Man Pritchett had better work on that leg in the offseason and lace them up for one last run at glory... I don't know if Coghill is ready yet.

Well....we had a great run this year, we made it to the championship game again, and we came up just short....had Pritchett been the QB I think we would have had a better chance, but I think we had a damn good season....I do not have the game here, so if someone could post the recieving #s from this year that would be a lot of help...

Is everything still available if I hunt through the old threads? |

Yea all the files should be in the old threads although I don't think you need to go digging for it.
You can get the original files from the following site. FOFC_GT.zip After you load those you should only need the year end files which I will post in just a minute and then the last two updated files I posted a little while ago. |

cthomer here are the year end files for 90, 91, and 92. You should download the original files from that web site I listed. Unpack those files then download these yearly files unpack them, and then download the latest files I posted form this year and unpack tham and you should eb all caught up.

Another very good season for our Rollers... it's tough to come up just short, but we certainly were right there. Geez, what happened to Mazatlan - they really turned it on, it seems. (Those point spreads don't come out of nowehere, it seems)
Anyway... hopefully I can put together some initial stuff for the next season soon, and we can start plotting out our next steps. I think the biggest factor will be the potential for retirements... maybe old man Pritchett will hang 'em up after this season? We also have some monstrous decisions ahead with contracts, especially if our fan faves decide to stick around... we'll have some serious pruning to do if so. |

prime, gonna post the files? ... Yeah.. I'm gonna miss that duo to... I'm already preparing my bunker to hunker down and fight for keeping The Ox ... He sure did show us what he can do in the end of the regular season, didn't he?
Not sure what to think about Pritchett.. He was always healthy until a little bit at the end of last year and this year has been terrible.. at the same time, Coghill has shown that he is very spotty.. but, perhaps with losing The Ox it is time to rebuild the core of our offense with Coghill and perhaps a back out of the draft?
