We'd be playing golf riding in the cart and he'd fall asleep between holes or he'd fall asleep sitting at a table at a restaurant. Since he's gotten the sleep machine I haven't seen him do that once.

I've been getting 6-7 lately which is not nearly enough for me. I really need at least eight but I have a very difficult time falling asleep unless I'm exhausted and an even more difficult time waking up if I don't get at least eight hours.

It can be, and I think in a lot of cases it is, genetic.

I usually get 6-7 per night, but would much prefer 8. I tend not to get what I want, though, due to a heavy workload, a wife who also has a heavy workload, two young kids, and no family support closer than 7 hours away (by car).

I'm the same and couldn't agree more -- much nicer getting more sleep.

I have one and use it. My main annoyance with it is that I've get sinus allergies and sometimes wake up in the middle of the night because my nose plugs. Often just before that I'm dreaming about not being able to get enough breath.....

Umm...it depends. About 6-8 hours during the week. On weekends, more unless I'm traveling.

Depends on whether my son is having hypothalamic storms or not. If he is, I will be lucky to get 2 hours. If he is not, I usually get about 7. He usually has storms for about 3-6 weeks at a time, 2-3 times per year.

7-8 hours a night. I don't have a set time to fall asleep, but I get up at 10 a.m. Usually I'm in bed around 2:30, but will sometimes stay awake til 3 or 3:30. I much prefer that to when I was doing morning drive. Then it was about 5 hours of sleep at night, and another hour during the day.

It varies greatly depending on my work schedule. I'll get anywhere from 3 to 8 hours. I really try to limit getting 4 hours or less to no more than once per week. Unfortunately, I don't set my own schedule.
