There is so much wrong with that video. Iowa has an outstanding defense. One of the bestie the nation.

Screw that guy.

Interesting stat put up during the Iowa game. They were showing how hard it was to get to your present record. Iowa was 6th. Alabama was 1.

And they just showed that stupid video.

And Iowa leads 21-0 at half.

Go Hawks!!!!!!

So, uh, Georgia ... how that's QB change working out?

Great stiff arm by that Clemson WR to get the go ahead TD at the end of the half.

NCSU coach just hit Clemson QB Deshaun Watson on the sideline. Not a Woody Hayes punch to the face but clearly a push, slap, punch to his back.

At some point it almost feels like CMR is leaving Bauta at QB as punishment or something.

Texas Tech doesn't have a single guy in the secondary that can tackle. They've missed tackles and taken poor angles and missed over and over today.

Ugly win for Iowa. But a win.

We struggled with a running QB which we usually do. And we travel to Indiana next week. Which has an explosive offense. Should be a good one.

The last offensive TD for OSU the DB didn't even try to make a tackle. Dunno if he forgot that it wasn't a footrace (which he wasn't going to win) or if he's scared of contact or what but, damn, at least TRY.

The one before that three DBs started ten yards ahead of the runner and ended up ten yards behind without any of them even making token contact.

It seems all the progress Michigan made during the early part of the season is gone. They're playing with all the intensity of the teams of the last eight years.

And Iowa clearly got the best of our quarterback transaction.

Funny how one play can potentially end a season.

Rutgers is unwatchable. I'm literally numb at this point.

I'm not a booster and I don't make a lot of money to fund a buyout or whatever and I've got my own financial problems, but this team is just, it's like watching the Mets when they go into spend no money mode. Just can't do it.

You'll get plenty healthy next week when big bad Rutgers comes to town. Rutgers Defense is going to make Rudock look like the second coming of Elvis Grbac.

And the reign at #1 is over Coastal came back to make it a one-possession game, and had chances near the goal line for a tying TD, but could not do it. Be interesting to see how far Coastal drops-CSU was ranked this week, so maybe not too far. They can't afford any more losses though if they want to still make the playoffs.

Rudock is a great kid, incredibly smart and will do great thing in his medical career. And he played at St. Thomas aquinas in south Florida.

But he is just not a college QB that will win games by himself. Weak arm with no accuracy.
We went through 2 years of him. Most fans were happy to see him go. Though the wished him only the best.

If Temple wins and goes undefeated but doesn't make the playoffs, will we see an 8 team playoff sooner?

Since when are you allowed to review a block in the back call?

I didn't know they could review penalties either. Well, the targeting I know, but none of the others.

EDIT: well, there you go.

Plus, they barely looked at the guy with the knee down.

I'm not that invested, but it looked like Duke got screwed. There were guys running towards the end zone with no helmet on before the guy crossed the goal line.

How can anyone know what the replay officials looked at? Couldn't checking that guy's knee also have been a reason that the review took so long?

There was definitely a guy for Miami with no helmet running off the sideline onto the field before the runner scored. No question about that one. The rules stickler in me acknowledges that they could have (or perhaps should have) called a penalty there, but it has about as much impact on the play as me sneezing two hours ago. I guess I don't really see the point in calling that particular penalty right there. I mean, I get that they could have, but as a neutral fan in this case, I'm glad they didn't.

Yeah, I guess I can't say they barely looked at anything considering the review took like a half hour.

Shrug after the 4 "questionable" PI calls and the TD I'm not sure was a TD ....Duke can't complain.

This from a guy with 5c on the line for Duke tonight

I didn't get why Minnesota didn't spike it. Leave yourself 16 seconds with a timeout... that's 2 plays to punch it in, then kick on 4th down. That was indeed horrible.

I'm not a rules expert, so I hope I'm not spreading misinformation (apologies if so), but I believe the penalty for that guy running onto the field without his helmet would be a dead ball foul enforced after the play anyway.

An undeserved win feels only marginally better than a shocking loss. Though it was irrational to think Michigan would be the team they were for a few weeks there. Some people were even saying they should be favored over Ohio State.

I wonder what the deal was with Shane Morris. He was warming up when Rudock was hurt. Wilton Speight has never seemed like someone who would have a meaningful down.

The Duke ending, two weeks after the Michigan ending, is going to have people rethinking how to handle special teams plays when you're leading and you can easily leave the opponent with just one long-distance opportunity on offense.

I think they did... you could see their coach doing the little "hurry up" circles with his hand when they were about done with reviewing that play.

That was about as good a tackle as you can have.
I was iffy about the ND one. But he did duck his head some. But that one in the vid was ridiculous.

There's a knee that appears to clearly be down in the Miami return.

So, what does the ACC say to Duke? Some version of "sorry, not sorry"?
