It's chalk to run with players from 3 seeds and 4 seeds? I have no one higher than a 3 seed, and only two of those (McDermott is one, too, so he is out). Meh... if that's what that is, it's working so far!

That's why I edited McDermott out of mine. In the end, I have too many low seeds not advancing.

Basically, the Michigan State V. UConn situation will be a game maker for us. Ramz has Shabazz Napier, Chief has Harris & Payne.
B&B cancels out with Chief, because he's got Payne too. britrock's chance at a three-peat is foiled because he has Gary Harris. I have a Michigan State guy barely scores points and I have a Kentucky dude who isn't their leading scorer (James Young) so...I have a very very faint, remote chance of taking over the leaders in the event UK wins it all and UConn loses in the Final Four provided they beat Michigan State. Basically, that Elite 8 game between Michigan State v. UConn will probably determine this thing. We're down to the wire for sure. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out! |

Beckerinski shoots up to 3rd thanks to Julius Randle, who...incidentally could propel her to the title. Basically the scenarios are: Shabazz Napier doesn't score much more and somehow Chief hangs on to the title. Otherwise, Ramz wins because Napier will always get his points.
Meanwhile, if UK manages to win out and UConn doesn't, then Beckerinski manages to pull out the come from behind victory after starting the day in 7th place. What a finish! |

RESULTS AFTER NATIONAL SEMI-FINALS GAMES:
Code:
There are lots of scenarios, but...essentially if Shabazz Napier scores at all, Ramz likely eclipses Chief Rum for first place. But for Ramz to win, Napier needs 15 points or more, Randle would need to score 14 points or lower and James Young would need to score 19 points or lower. There are still scenarios where Beckerinski could win if Randle shows up, Napier doesn't and UK wins. For me to win, Young would have to have a career night compared to his tournament performance up to now and he'd need to score 5 more points than Randle, it appears and have Napier get locked down. Lots of variations, but there's no slam dunk to figuring out who wins this one. Should be an interesting finish. Last edited by Young Drachma : 04-06-2014 at 03:55 PM. |

In 2012, britrock won by 52 points. Last year, he won again by 74 points. So if history is any indication, our winner won't eek out more than a 100 point win. But we've never had the championship decided by the final game either, so..that's pretty awesome.

Ramz wins after two years of britrock, I finish 2nd after James Young's big night and newcomer Beckerinski comes in third.

4th last year, 5th this year. I'll take it, I guess. I'm taking it down next year, though.
