Los Angeles has to win the next two games to stay alive.

Hammersmith's magic number is still 1.

With a win in the final game of the season, Hammersmith will clinch a playoff spot. If the Bruins win, it will force 3 more games between these two teams to decide which makes it to the playoffs.

Addendum: If LA does win the final game, it will be the second straight season that the Bruins have to play more than 162 games.

Three Hooligans pitchers combine for a 3-hit shutout to clinch a playoff spot for Hammersmith!

congrats to other playoff teams. I really didn't expect it this year. I thought my pitching wouldn't hold up, but a couple of 2 pitch SP's really came through.

Nice run by Baltimore, 21-3, to nock me out of contention. I'm curious how things would have been had I set my rotation to 4, to match the # of starters I had in the rotation, instead of having some random person start about 25 of the games. Overall I think it was a good first season for the Brownstones to be back in Brooklyn, but I'm kind of hoping / expecting to be in the playoffs next year. Good luck to all those that made it, more so to the CL teams though .
