Hey puresim will probably be great, but when you promote the game with all stolen art its kind of hard to judge what the product will actually be like isn't it?

so, I wasn't around back then - is this dickhead's backstabbing anything on par with Dave Dial?

I know what Mr. K's hidden agenda is, and my attorney will be discussing it with him and some others in the very near future.

This is getting close to that topic I posted about the most uncomfortable thread I've ever seen. In this case, however, I'm sure there's no acting involved.

In any case, the Good Friday Penis story is the champ of uncomfortable threads... *shudders*

Am I the only one here who finds the smiley face at the end to be kind of creepy (and out of place)?

I wondered how long it would take for Derek Smart to make an appearance.

Sigh....

Good luck, Shaun. Sucks your thread had to go this route.

(My sighs do not represent the sighs of .400 Software Studios, although they could very well do that. This one is purely a product of JohnCo Enterprises, although it is freesighware.)

Wow. Coming back online to FOFC in six months, and Joe is already making waves. This should get VERY interesting. Since Joe has no baseball game to promote, I guess he has more time on his hands.

Too bad he didn't spend the time working his magic on Total Extreme Warfare. That game deserved the Joe touch. If I was Adam Ryland I would be very upset indeed. I have my popcorn, and I am enjoying watching this story as it develops.

Not sure what you are talking about Joe? You can't sue me for your stealing of art, or simply stating truth? I mean you can try but it will be a bit fun. If you want your attorney to talk to me about you stealing art I'll be happy to! If you want your attorney to talk to me about you trying to get me to give competitors bad reviews I'll be happy to.

Are you going to deny asking me to give Brian a bad review? Are you saying you didn't ask me to rip the game? Are you denying that you pestered me constantly about information about OOTP 6.0?

Yes, Its embarassing to admit that I indeed had an ethicly slip a while back when dealing with Jim and FOF and allowed you to influence and post things that you wanted to say to rip the comepetion. Yes, I was stupid and used by you to further your means. Go ahead tell your attorney that. You guys at FOF want to rip me for it go ahead, but you know what? I've screwded up before and I learn from my mistakes. I've written Skydog and apologized a while back for what I did.

I remember Yabannci telling me that he liked my reivews, but didn't like what I said about FOF after I gave it a good review. I argued with him, but in retrospect he was right. My judgement was clouded and I shouldn't of done that. But, other then that slipup "which I think we all have done once in our lives" I've stayed true to the course.

Anyway, you know my number have your attorney call me, I'll be happy to inform him of all the things you've done, said to me and asked me to do....

I do have one question about this whole thing.

I'm looking at the currently active users viewing this very thread, and see Markus Heinsohn's name.

So...when's OOTP coming out?!

Well, Ben, I am not sure this situation needs handling. If one of the most visible companies in the text sim genre wants to have this conversation on a public board, we should just eat the popcorn. Many discussions with personal overtones have gone further with the participants simply warned about civility standards.

Besides, I imagine after druez's last post, this conversation has gone phone

EDIT: Besides, I want to watch this train wreck.

Can someone post a short recap of what this drama is all about?

I want to get involved and take sides, but I can't seem to figure out the point.

Wig here is a summary from what I understand.

Shaun left .400 for whatever reason.

He sent out a newsletter, with graphics for baseball cards taken from the web and team art.

Joe took credit for a great interface.

I called him on it and said it isn't that hard when all the art is stolen.

He brought up my wife and said I had an agenda.

I said I did and mentioned, the FOF vs TPF problem where I was an ass on his behalf. Then I mentioned how he wanted me to rip heaveyreighns game and I wouldn't, then he wanted me to sell out Markus and OOTP 6.0. Then is when I said enough is enough. So, I called him on his bullshit.

Sure Subby I agree with you 100%. But a screen shot is no judge of the usability of an interface. The only way you can judge an interface and its usefullness is to well use it!

So I'm basing my comments on the actual artwork in which we were shown. I can't judge the usefulness of the interface untill I play it.

OK. Time for what I assume will be an unpopular decision, but this has gone far enough (too far, actually). Thread closed.
