UW vs. Cal. The Cal QB Ayoob has completed more passes to the defense than his own guys.

On TV, all you could see in the stands was orange and maroon. The VT cheers and chants were loud the entire game.

Yeah, that's the thing about betting. It needs to be done before the actual blowouts.

I think last week he was 0-10. The INT was his first completion in D-1.

Meanwhile, the Washington QB has as many touchdowns as passes completed.

Early game statistics are fun!

Ack, Hawaii is wearing the all white uniforms. They go 3 and out on their opening drive and now Michigan State scores.

Welcome to Kansas football. I suppose basketball schools are like that. Still hate that the stadium gets 2/3rd red when Nebraska comes to town

31-15 win for the Sooners. The score is a bit bloated after they returned an interception for a TD with :03 left.

Wow, Hawaii just rushed 1 player. They had a 3 man line and the two ends dropped into zone coverage.

Of course this lead to a TD pass for Michigan State...

All Adrian Peterson.

So many unbelievable runs today, the best one being the long touchdown where he ran over one guy, put a spin move on another and stiff-armed another near the goal line.

These are the kinds of stats that make me wish there was fantasy college football. It'd be insane. "Woo! My Wisconsin WR had 3 TDs! Yeah, well, my Adrian Peterson had 200 yards! Still nothing compared to my Omar Jacobs from last week with 450 yards and 5 TDs!"

Adrian better be ready to run the ball 35-40 times per game, due to lack of qb play.

Y'know, as many computer wizards, gamers, and game programmers et al as we have around here ... somebody ought to think about coming up with something that would make this a reality. I imagine it'd have to be a "private game" of sorts, in order to stay below the NCAA radar, but I can't help but think this is somehow doable.

See, that's the best reason for paying college athletes and making them somewhat semi-pro... a student athlete union that could provide player names for fantasy football .

Either that or hearken back to the fantasy baseball/football days of olde where you had to pencil and paper your own stats

Georgia runs a long, 90 yard drive capped by a DJ Shockley run with a flip into the end zone. That was fun!

While I'm glad the game is on national television, I'm not glad about how poor Iowa is playing so far. 4 turnovers in the first half is not going to cut it against any team.... I have been VERY disappointed in Manson so far, obviously it is a tough situation coming into a rivalry game against a VERY good defense... but he is supposed to be one of the better backups in the Big Ten and he is playing AWFUL.

Just my rant for the day

"Thomas Brown misses a tackle."

Priceless!

Edit: To clarify, SC just picked off a Shockley pass and Brown got juked on the return (which went for a TD).

Ouch- killer play for Iowa. Went from being a great play where the TE fought for extra yardage to a crushing turnover.

Very disappointing (soon to be) loss, I was worried about Iowa State coming in to the game, and I guess for good reason...

While it sucks to lose to Iowa State, it doesn't ruin the season. Just look at the Arizona State game last year, Iowa got hammered against ASU and while they lost the next week against Michigan, they ended up being the CO-Big Ten champions.

Wyoming slaughtered ULM 38-0.

That freshman HB who fucked up on the game-changing 4th and 1 play last week had a really nice game this week. Busted open for some really nice gains and had at least 1 TD.

Bramlet continues to piss me off though. He keeps making stupid decisions and had 2 INTs, and could have easily as have had at least 4. That's not going to cut it against quality competition (Sorry any Indians fans out there).

Our D was absolutely stellar today. 2 INTs and we could have had 4 if a couple guys wouldn't have dropped easy picks. 4 forced fumbles and a booming hit on a ULM receiver that made him drop the ball and caused him to be taken off the field. I screamed "Hit Stick! Hit Stick! Go Cowboys!" in the stands.

An absolute blowout in every sense of the word. Good morale booster after the Florida debacle last week.

Looking like a mixed week for the Big XII, especially depending on the way the game in Columbus goes. Iowa State looks like they could be the force that whacks some people in the North since there's no one who has stepped up yet. Oklahoma and K-State looked lackluster, but they did win. Hard to get up for those games. Most of the other games are pushovers and will be played tonight.

Keep in mind, OU did not even attempt a pass in the second half...and they had more points on the board and over twice as many yards. I think this is a team that needs to pass 10-15 times per game, run the rest, and for God sake, use the QB's running the option, or draws, or something, they are fast and they can run.

TB has nearly 150 yards, averaging nearly 8 yards a carry, and a TD. I think he'll be forgiven the missed tackle.

TD Thomas Brown.

It's so weird how I follow Georgia and Thomas Brown exclusively because of how much SkyDog has posted about him over the years.

Great sack by Gerogia DE Thompson just now. Drove right through the tackle and then wrapped up the QB.
