This is about the worse game the Pats defense has played in half a decade.

4 TDs for Manning. Good thing I'm not playing anyone with Manning in fantasy football this week.

What are you watching where they'd cut out of a game in the 3rd quarter?

Go Chargers! Get busy! With your bad selves! This is an amazing game (from a San Diego standpoint) and Brees is not getting a lot of props. LT is, but not Breezer.

Pats deserve to lose this game by 50 points. They're playing without a sack on both sides of the ball. D-line is getting pushed around, Brady has 4 guys in his face every play, and they can't tackle to save their lives.

God I hope the rumors about Bruschi are true, they need him.

they need someone. i was just saying, it's like they're out there on the defensive field without a leader. Say what you want about Seymour being one of the best DT's in football, but he's not a vocal leader. They need a vocal leader.

Brady hasn't looked half bad when he's had time to throw. It's just that in the second half he is getting no time.

First of all, give credit to the Chargers defense. They made the adjustments to put pressure on him. On the Pat's defense though, I have to admit that the injuries have finally took their toll on this side of the ball. I don't think my team wouldn't be doing as well with even Rodney Harrison playing against his former team.

oh i credit the Chargers D. I don't think they deserve ALL of the credit though...part of it is due to the losses the Pats have taken on the O-Line too though and the two rookies on the left of the line (Mankins and Kaczuer). But the Chargers D has done what they had to do and the Pats couldn't adjust.

Yeah, but their defensive line should be playing better, they are getting stood up on every play. If their line payed like it did the first three weeks they could compensate for the injuries.

Leave it to Mike Martz to try a gimmick play from - what? - the 15 yard line after a long drive.

I disagree, the Chargers have a very suspect pass defense and that could easily be seen in any game the Chargers played this season. In fact the Pats had a good first half as Brady was picking them apart. With thier half time adjustments they brought in more people in the pass rush.

The Giant's offense, definately. Their defense is kind of shaky though.

Hehe. Funny to see a game under the 2 minute warning in the 4th when the Giants game just finished the 3rd quarter.

so what you're really saying is you agree. i'm saying that the Chargers bringing more has upset the Pats O-Line and they havn't been able to compensate or find ways to take advantage of the blitz (screens, draws, etc.).

And now interception for Seattle. Wide pass by Brunnell off Portis' fingers.

I just disagreed with the comment that they shouldn't get ALL the credit. They should. The Pats tried to stop the blitz but there is only so much you could do with the Chargers speedy linebackers. What I am saying is that the Chargers should get all the credit they deserve for stopping that offense. Brady tried to hit what he thought what should have been an open space due to the rush but the Chargers successfully disguised thier pass coverage.

How in the heck did they say Williams wasn't out of bounds after the catch? The first thing to hit the ground was his arm way out.
