I think there is a realistic (but relatively small) chance that he is not playing football next year.

Is there something in the *deactivation* rules that says he is no longer an eagle next year?

Granted they have to do something with him prior to his roster bonus kicking in in March, but what if they don't? Could they suck up his salary and make him sit at home for the next 6 seasons?

God what a reality check THAT would be for NFL players and the Union....

? You mean pay him to not play for 6 years? Yes, that would show him.... that would show him good.
