Going a little out of the box and creative. HOPEFULLY it won't flop in spectacular fashion.

This is going to be tough. I can't find anything in this poster's list of posts that give me a good idea. I see what he likes in terms of sports teams but I was hoping to find a few good clues in his posts. Oh well, a little more digging I guess.

I am kind of in the same boat as well. I think I am going to go the route of a sports related gift though. I think this is a cool one.

This will probably give it away when the person gets the gift, but you can find a lot of ideas if you look at posts and try to find a connection. You don't necessarily need to have posts saying exactly what they would want.

PS- Look for clues in threads they've started.

I went with a non-sports gift, but FOFC related. It's really interesting and I'm hoping that my recipient likes it.

dola: Dammit, I had an idea which may have been good but can't find it in stock. Everywhere says it would not show up until after Christmas as it's back ordered.

Stupid question here from a noob. How important is gift wrapping? I have found a few ideas but the places they are shipped from do not gift wrap which means that I cannot send them directly to the recipient and have them wrapped. Shipping them here and girft wrapping may not allow enough time to have then shipped and received by Christmas.

Sorry, I don't want to stand out as the one who didn't wrap the gifts. (One place I found that would wrap did not have what I wanted in stock)

Thanks in advance!!!

I have neither sent nor received a wrapped gift in past FOFC gift exchanges, and I haven't given it a second thought...

I didn't wrap last year and the gift I received last year was not wrapped. Likewise, I didn't wrap this year's present.

Strictly speaking from the male point of view...

If it comes in a box, it's wrapped.

My gift has been ordered. I'm a little nervous that my person might already own this (though the lack of stating they did in the posts I read was a good sign for me), but I'm pretty sure they'll like it if they don't already have it.
