Vikings WR not bad either-
Moss, C Carter and A Carter the main 3, but add in Rashad and Jake Reed. Oh, and Hassan Jones.

I guess that's where we part company. The only way I see Hudson getting into Cooperstown is by buying a ticket.

Giants LF have a pretty good track record: Mel Ott, Barry Bonds, Monte Irvin? 3 HOF, including one of the top 5 players of all time.
Also throw in some backups like MVP Kevin Mitchell and multiple-all star Bobby Bonds. |

Yes this took some work to come up with, but it is 4 guys who are hall of famers in the college and the NFL and played DT at Minnesota. Last edited by mckerney : 06-02-2008 at 11:32 PM. |

The Yankees have had a pretty good run of closers
Lyle-Gossage-Righetti-wetteland-rivera Obviously 2 of those guys were dramatically better than the rest. |

I think the Colts would qualify at QB with Unitas and Manning...as long as you take out all the guys in-between.

Chicago Bulls Shooting Guard:
Michael Jordan, Ron Mercer, Pete Myers .....Ok so MJ himself singlehandedly made me put this position on the list, whatever.

In all fairness...you've gotta give "The Bert" some love in Baltimore. He was pretty good in his day. And if Art Schlichter had put as much effort into football as he did playing the ponies and Jeff George didn't have the personality of...well...Jeff George...who knows....coulda, woulda, shoulda. I think that QBs should just be ignored from other franchises. The 49ers have the market cornered on that. I may be a homer, but you can't argue that there has ever been a franchise that has had a better run of QBs than Tittle, Brodie, Montana and Young. Though he gets a lot of flack, Jeff Garcia put up very nice numbers as a 49er Quarterback as well. Niners also look pretty good at WR - it drops off in star power after Rice and Owens, but Dwight Clark, John Taylor and Freddie Solomon were all solid WRs.
I always find it crazy that the 49ers had the best QB, WR and S of all time in the history of the NFL, ON THE SAME TEAM. Other contenders: SF Giants Pitchers: Carl Hubbell Juan Marichal Christy Matthewson Gaylord Perry Rube Marquard Steve Carlton and Warren Spahn also pitched for the Giants, although they only played for a season or so.

When Brady's career is over, I'll gladly allow him into my discussion of greatest QB of all time. He's still got a ways to go.
That being said, I'm definitely very impressed by what he has done, and if any active player deserves to be in that discussion, it's him.

It's only two-deep, but how about the Bears' HB position:
Sayers, Gayle Payton, Walter OK, for comic relief: Benson, Cedric |
