Heh. Then you're gonna have to look elsewhere. I have NO illusions that this thing is gonna make me famous, or even semi-famous. It IS (in my opinion at least) a well-done CD, that has a "professional" sound to it and I'll therefore be proud of the rest of my life. The reality, though, is that I don't see myself leaving my job and doing the touring and promoting necessary to ever take it beyond being a hobby and potential side income.

I've gotten bogged down in the talk about the girls, and haven't said THANKS to all who expressed their congratulations. I really appreciate it.

As far as the girls go, don't make me have to do a Marcellus Wallace on one of y'all. ("I'm prepared to scour the earth for that motherf***er. If Easy Mac goes to Indochina, I want a nigga waitin' in a bowl of rice ready to pop a cap in his ass." )

Y'all are sicko.

At any rate, if there's ANYTHING I've learned in 15+ years of youth ministry, it is this: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use whipped cream for a messy game during hot weather in the South, unless you have the option of showering off IMMEDIATELY. The Southern heat makes the cream in it go sour in a hurry and it STINKSSSSSSS like you wouldn't BELIEVE!!! At the event pictured, we first did Southern Bobsledding (big block of ice, long grassy hill....big fun), which got us nice and muddy, then we had a flour war, then a SHAVING CREAM war (note the can in the hand of the leader to my right). Get your minds out of the gutter!

Oh man.. this is absolutely so wrong, and is totally unbecoming of a polite society.

But it's also so completely in tune with this bunch of yo-yos! (myself included)

Sisters? Hell, some of the guys around here want to know about their mothers as well, I would guess.

Clown? I'll have you know I wear no makeup. Unless she'd want me to, and then I'd even wear a collar...

I'll go now.

LOL. It isn't THAT impressive. I've been working with the same school for six years now, and have lived in the neighborhood right behind the high school for five. After that amount of time, it is just natural.

Missed this post... I don't really know where her sis is coming from faith-wise. As I said earlier, I don't know her very well at all.

Ugh. Tell me about it. I just found out today that one of our veteran female volunteers can't go on our week-long summer trip (which is less than 3 weeks away from now, by the way... ). I'm sure there are a few dozen folks around here who would jump at the chance, but I have to now find a FEMALE willing to give up a week of vacation to spend a week with teenaged girls, and I need to do it in two-and-a-half weeks.
