Surprised to get everyone I put an offer out for. I didn't expect that. Don't expect much in the way of offers from Hammersmith for tomorrow's sim.

If I released someone that would add 14.5 million to my player expenses would I still be alright? Or would I start losing money?

The best time to do that is during the playoffs so it goes to the previous year budget rather than your next year budget. With the relaxed financials that we've played under the past 30 or so seasons it makes things like this a bit easier though. You can probably cut them but won't have much extra money this season if you do is all. (we used to play with it a bit more challenging and teams would have only 5-7 mil extra each season for cuts)

I am certainly not a contender, but I do believe the Patriots in 39 will be slightly more competitive. While its not in my best interest not to finish in the top 2 draft picks, I still want to make steady improvement, and hope to win 62-65 games this year. My pitching is better (not good), and my defense is solid (blue numbers almost everywhere). Offense is weak but not as bad as last year either.

I've had internet troubles all week so I haven't been able to export for FOOL or FOOL-H until today. Fortunately, I didn't really need to spend money in free agency. I'm looking forward to the regular season now, best of luck to everyone!

Good luck tonight, folks. I'll be around late. I don't expect to contend at all, as we have top end talent, but absolutely nothing behind those 5-6 top end guys.
