This.

And it was nice getting revenge on Ann Arbor in the first round as well. That series completed sucked the wind out of me last year.

Just so we're clear, I was in no way begrudging of the previous times you stomped me in the Classic. I just wanted to make sure I could actually get past you at some point.

Y'all are too nice. I guess I'll be bitter for us all and continue to plan the imminent return of Hammersmith to the top of FOOL.

Congrats on the title, Tasan, and welcome to the Group of Ten. Great season for you, Teach--as well as you played it's a shame you didn't get a title this season.

And welcome to to FOOL, Matt.

Thanks Chief, and while I'll take the compliment, I've only overseen 5 of those 10. I think you had the first 2, and 3 were during the FOOL "dark years". I like my 5 though

Oh, and I don't plan on letting Hammersmith get past me any time soon.

You have only had 5 personally? That surprises me, with how successful you have been. In that case, glad you won this year for sure.

After all, I want you to get that one before I take over again.

The active list of owners with titles over 5 is:

Chief Rum - 12 (2 in Colorado, 2 in Atlanta, 8 in Hammersmith)
Teach - 10 (Napa Valley)
Tasan - 8 (Colorado)
MontrealGM - 7 (Montreal/Tokyo)

This counts titles won during the dark period because well, you built the teams you should get credit for them, since you started the teams off to get to the point where they could do that.

The all-time list of owners with at least 5 titles.
muns - 12 (6 in Hartford, 6 in Baltimore)
Chief - 12 (2 in Colorado, 2 in Atlanta, 8 in Hammersmith)
Alan - 10 (Valdosta)
Teach - 10 (Napa Valley)
Tasan - 8 (Colorado)
Dark Cloud - 8 (2 in St. Louis, 1 in Chicago, 1 in Boston, 4 in Newark/St. Petersburg)
MontrealGM - 7 (Montreal/Tokyo)
ekcut - 6 (3 in Baltimore, 3 in Edmonton)

Alan's played the shortest number of seasons and still was the first into the G-10, all in the first era of the league, which is just insane.

If you subtracted the titles from 1989-2000, then Alan would have 7, Tasan would have 5 and muns would have 11. The rest would be the same. But the FOOL Historical Society says they should all count. I checked with them.

I used to get to the playoffs a lot and lose. Lately its been a struggle to get to the playoffs, but I've finally rebuilt.

This is my favorite list of all time. For having no idea what I was doing when I started this thing, I feel like I have a lot to be proud of.

That is the one thing that I miss about FOOL. I really enjoyed the Valdosta-Atlanta trash talking as I kicked their butts every season. It was always fun banter with greygoose at first and then later with Chief. Never got mean or hateful. Just was fun!
