Lt Colonel Nathan Jessup in about 20 questions, after incorrectly guessing Frank Abignale about 5 questions earlier. Played just under 300 times.
19 questions for Bill Simmons, played over 1,000 times. 29 questions for Mr Sinister from X-Men comics, after a wrong guess (around 20) for some character from Crash Bandicoot. Played just under 300 times. Beat him on "One Armed Man" from Fugitive, although the character was in the database. 18 questions for Michael Irvin, played just over 400 times. So based on my extremely small sample set, this program does better with sports players than movie characters. Of course, that could also owe to me having more definitive answers to the questions asked about real people as opposed to movie roles where I had to speculate from time to time (more "probably/probably not" answers). Picked one I thought would be easy, and it was - 16 questions for Don Draper, played over 3,000 times. I knew it was ending soon when questions like "is he a womanizer" and "does the show take place in New York" came up 36 questions for Mr. Slate, thought the jig was up after question about character being "barefoot" came up but took a couple more after that. Played 302 times. I'm wondering how hard it is to come up with a character that has been played single digit times. Last edited by hoopsguy : 07-02-2011 at 11:17 PM. |

Got the Slurm queen from futurama in right around 20 questions, James Buchanan in right around 10. Feels weird being this impressed over something that is 90% pop culture oriented, but it is impressive.

Dennis Rodman - 13 questions
Horatio Nelson - 16 questions Mr. Rochester - 24 with one wrong guess Dan Marino - 16 A bunch of others I've forgotten. So far the only two it's missed on where the database already had the character entered was Haggar the Witch from Voltron and the Wu general Taishi Ci from Romance of the Three Kingdoms, where it was in the right ballpark on all of its guesses, but couldn't quite seal the deal.

Wow...can't believe Ann Darrow had only been played 31 times.
Took 51 questions but it asked a couple of them multiple times and a few which were complete opposites that didnt make sense. Like I answered Yes to it being a female, but it asked me if the character was an adult man. It also asked me at least 3 times if the character lives in the United States, or is an American citizen, and does the character live in the same country as I do. I thought that was kinda silly. Overall...pretty cool though. |

I didn't count how many questions, but it guessed Fox Mulder first, then it correctly guessed Jimmy McNulty.

I went for it with Harold and Maude. I was impressed that it got to Maude in 19. Harold, though... it took 38 questions and 3 wrong guesses (including the accusation that I wasn't thinking of anyone at all!).

I stumped him with John Carter (ER.) It kept focusing on characters from House even though I said it was a show that was off the air which I found amusing.
