I have more of a problem with what seems like dolts hitting the kid. If I had respect for my kids teacher and found out her spanked him or her I don't think I'd mind so much. Sometimes it does take a village.

Did you ask her straight up if it happened and if it is allowed? What state do you live in? My daycare asks for permission to turn my kid over on his belly or put a binky in his mouth and I live in Texas where spanking is legal. I can't imagine them spanking a child without explicit written permission.

We live in Arizona, and physical punishment is illegal here in daycares/preschool.
