I won't be too disappointed when the day comes that Pat Onstad strangles Patrick Ianni. The guy just makes dumb plays sometimes.

Onstad is playing great tonight. This game is a little frustrating to watch tonight being the first game I have seen since the Euro's. Just not as smooth flowing, too much of the ball just being kicked to no one. It could help to see the Dynamo score but that may be asking too much.

US U-20s take down their Mexican counter-parts 3-0:

It was a friendly, so you can't draw too many conclusions, but that still a very promising result.

Villa has signed Guzan again. We'll see if he gets a permit this time. I think he will, with his recent NT appearances. But not sure.

Good point, I should have started a new thread, right here, in the general discussion, where soccer discussion belongs.

Shut up and check the soccer forum. And if people from the m-fing United States paid attention to their own m-fing league then there would be plenty of m-fing topics to discuss.

Why start a discussion on real live soccer in a Soccer TEXT-SIM FORUM? It's not a real soccer forum.

Was searching for discussion on the 6+5 rule and I ran into this gem.

Oh wow, so I didn't know the club would be taken over by oil tycoons a few months after he joined them.

And who knows, maybe after spending close to £350m in three years they might even accomplish something. For all that money a League Cup semi-final and qualifying for the Europa League isn't very impressive.

And now Hughes manages a team that made it to a European final last year and he gets to enjoy Clint Dempsey's awesomeness on a daily basis.
