Besides boredom, nothing really.
Just want to see if anyone would move on me to see where everyone bet. I can pull my vote off myself to save me just as easily. |

Both Murray and Zinto are hauled in for intense questioning today. In the end it's decided that the city resources will be spent in investigating Zinto. He is arrested while a team of detectives comb his home. They find evidence of money laundering, extortion and an illicit trade in knockoff Beanie Babies. "I'll kill you all, you dirty rats," he yells as they lock him away.
Zinto was a member of the Las Vegas Mafia. |

So if you count Danny as Atlantic City pre-conversion that is two Atlantic City and two Vegas. Are we thinking 3 each side?

I guess the next question regards the fact that Zinto used the seer to clear Jackal, who had given us his Vegas compatriot fontesian.
So either Jackal is Vegas and went for trust by framing font and then get cleared by Zinto -- or Zinto tried to get some cred by clearing Jackal. If someone trusted gets the seer it seems like it would not be a bad idea to rescan Jackal.

Also too, unless someone else had $3,412 on them it looks like I have the hitman.

I won nothing tonight, thinking I might be able to land the Seer back to back nights. Oh, well. Worth a shot and at least someone had to still pay a decent sum for it.
And wow, Path. THat's a haul! Most I've won in a night was afew hundo. |

That seems really risky though because if Zinto gets busted, it ruins the trust for Jackal. Jackal already had some trust from busting font so he didn't need Zinto to give him a boost. Remember, that also would've made Jackal a target for the other team too. |

So your take would be that it was just Zinto trying to gain himself some trust then.

Don't believe it would be useful for us to rescan until we've looked at all possible contestants. The person who called them okay would be much more likely to be bad than the scan target.

Scanned, no obviously, but as gung ho as everyone was about him, he's sorta fallen by the wayside. Might be a decent seer target tonight.

I'm a bit at a loss for the last wolf assuming there's a 6th.
Brit seems reasonable as his main defense is getting voted by everyone (not a bad defense really) and buying a service for 1k. He's probably been less open about money and such than others. Other than that, maybe CR or even Mau, just because I can see Mau playing this open and crazy as a wolf. I don't really get a bad vibe from either of them though, so I'm reaching a bit. |

Just from looking at the the list of players...Brit or CR'd be my choices, but I'm also reaching heavily here, particularly with CR.

And we gotta figure there's 6. Be weird for the sides not to start even, unless murray is Atlantic City and it started 3-2 (game being in Atlantic City, they started with 1 extra)

Looking at D2 and D3, Zinto did try to push the vote away from brit. Mostly on D2 he was pushing for the font vote and D3 he voted InBlue vs. brit, as well as used his Jackal clear to try and alleviate suspicion on brit. I think brit is definitely the best candidate for the seer.

For the seer to scan that is, if it wasn't clear. I'm pretty sure he's the last one.

I actually hope it is. Mainly because that'd mean I was agonizing using the hitman on...3 different wolves.

@Path did you get any reason to believe your buying of the hitman would result in bad things for you or the village?

FWIW I haven't exchanged many PMs with Brit at all, think we've both been busy. I asked who he would've gone after if not DT, and he said Danny but it was post-seer scan and he admitted it wasn't much in the reasoning dept.
I don't get a vibe one way or the other from the limited PMs we've shared. I need to look at some updated voting history before I decide if there are better candidates to go after. |

I can tell you about money and such, if you like. I haven't really had a lot happening, and I missed some bets last week on account of my busy-ness. I didn't win any money on bets until last night, when I won $x52 on a bet I split 3 ways. I had used my entire $1000 to buy the service that linked me with Jackal. Any other questions about what I've been up to? Let me know. |

I still think that there's a decent chance that Brit scans as wolf whether he is or not. I don't buy this business with the ability only lasting one night - I think they're permanent. I mean if the bent cop is going to plant suspicion on Brit it's not going to disappear after a bit.
Scanning Jackal is a ridiculous waste at this stage. If we get down to 4-5 people then it would be worth considering. I'd scan Coffee or Chief I think. Actually, that's a lie. I would scan Coffee but I just wanted to sound more rational and reasonable. I betcha that murra5y shows up as Las Vegas. a) Coffee does the classic wolf trick of mentioning DT as a strong suspect but doesn't actually ever vote him on day three. b) Realises that he's in trouble when DT goes down and wants to make sure of the minor win so he offers up the hitman. Revealing that he has the hitman and using him on someone everyone suspects is a win for him because he gets trust and kills the opposition. c) Has been muttering darkly about the risks of hiring someone on the black market - that way he leaves himself the ability to get their services without pesky interference from villagers. d) Is currently pushing for Britrock to be scanned, when there's good reason to believe that Britrock will scan as mob. I'll freely admit that this is my MO. Focus on one person and then anything that person says convinces me that they're bad. But what can you do? Well you can all just ignore me. I meant "what can I do"? |

If you think murra5y is Vegas though, then I really don't see both of Coffee's teammates voting him D1 while he also voted his own.

If murra5y is LV, then there's a stronger case for CR or Mau than brit. If murra5y is Atlantic, then the other way around.

All I can say is that isn't how it worked last time this game ran. I do think the wording was a bit different and it's certainly possible Autumn changed it up this go around. I wouldn't necessarily take a brit positive scan result in a vacuum, but if it fits with the other evidence...and frankly even if we screw up a lynch, we are still pretty well-placed. There's a potential for additional blocks / scans / villager night kill in the coming days. With presumably only a single wolf left, after the new day starts, we should all coordinate our bids and have the most trusted people get the most important services. By doing that, we basically force the last wolf to act as we want them to and force the less trusted players to buy useless (to the wolf) services like money transferring. I'll draw up a suggested list if I'm still around (assuming murra5y may brutal me if that's a possibility), but for example: DV - buys seer for $20 Jackal - buys BG for $15 Just to be safe, we can say no buying of black market services so whatever benefit that gives the wolves doesn't happen. If there are enough services left, it should very much narrow down who purchased a black market service if it happens. Any deviation from what we draw up will obviously spot us our wolf. If they go along with it, we just keep scanning players until we eventually hit. |
