can't see him this turn. You should go one west, then south as far as you can go. That brings you close to a moleprint, so we will hopefully see where he's at before he can reach it if he's going for that one

I think we are waiting on a list of our next available turns. The last listing of turns I see happened at 4:41pm yesterday (1 page previous). I sent you an email for my 3 moves at 7:33pm yesterday. You sent me an image with the results of my moves at 7:43pm yesterday. Did I miss anything?

I guess. Sometimes I get in a hurry and leave out a step. I'm in the process of writing a VB program to help me automate this so I'll stop screwing up.

New Turn:
Evader-3
Hunter-2

I have Passacaglia's move for this turn already.

I'm going to send out a test file to everyone. This is just a test to see if my new automated system of updating everyone on the positions works. It should, but could you please just let me know you got it and it matches up with what you received previously. The graphic quality should be better, as well.

The only difference is that the evader may not be visible to the spotters in the update I'm sending you now. Since he was visible in the previous update, I'm not giving any new information. The roll to see if he is visible is done automatically, now, so when I send the files, I don't have control over it.

Anyway, this should make this much smoother and easier. Let me know what you think of how it looks and if the email works ok.

Ah, I figured out the problem. Got a log file now, too, so I can see what happened. Just spelled the filename for the spotters, incorrectly. Evader and hunter got yet another file sent to them, sorry about that. Spotters you shouldn't have gotten a new one since the error was there on this last one. It is fixed now and it will be rolling out next turn.

If either BrianD or Pass can tell me they got a couple of new emails with the updated graphics, I would be thrilled.

I can see Brian again on the latest turn, he's bypassed the first turn off he could make back into the maze, and to me at least looks like he's heading for the moleprint at 3 across, 31 down. (is that how you want the coordinates?)

If you sent me anything for this move, would you mind sending it again. If it was in another message I apparently missed and deleted it. Sorry.

Okay spotters, you should be able to answer this without knowing his exact location -- should I go east or south here? I'm a little worried that if I go south, I'll hit a dead end after going four spaces.

South would be much better, you can go south one and then west.

Wow. If that worked, that was so much easier than the way I've been doing it. My log files state that everything got sent correctly, so I'm guessing it did.

I did have to fix the evader.jpg file, but I think I corrected the bug. Will continue to monitor.

yes can see him still and you are going exactly the way you need to go. 2 south and then go as far west as you can go until you cant go west any more.

I would go east. You stay in front of him and are in a position to intercept him no matter which thumbprint he tries for. Right now he's at 1 Across, 25 Down.

I disagree If he goes like I said, he's in a good place if he backtracks or even if he gets the third moleprint.

If Pass goes south, he's just following him around the map. If Pass goes east, towards the remaining thumbprints, Pass puts himself directly in Brian's path and forces Brian to decide which thumbprint to go after and risk running into Pass. If Pass starts chasing Brian around the map (starting from behind him), Brian has at least a one move head start towards any footprint.
