Sorry about the wait everybody, I'm trying to buy a house and sell a house so things are a little crazy for me right now. Anywho . . .
HERE IS THE WEAPONS DRAW FOR WEEK 10! Tony Harding (Rank 1, Bloodhaus) vs. Erin Flamebeard (Rank 1, The House of Four Fingers) Weapons: Spiked Club, Knife, Machete, Knife Analysis - The oddsmakers like to think that Erin Flamebeard will use her Boobs of Doom to distract Tony Harding long enough to get to the Spiked Club, which is her weapon of choice. If Erin can reach the Spiked Club first, the match is all but over. However, Tony Harding won't give it up easily. The crowd loves fights that turn out to be a sprint towards one weapon. This one shouldn't disappoint. The morning line - 4:3 in favor of Erin Flamebeard and her Boobs of Doom. Pilot the Wretched (Rank 1, Bloodhaus) vs. King IV (Rank 1, House Corax) Weapons: Rapier, Spiked Club, Crowbar, Lead Pipe Analysis - This could be the match of the day. The two fighters have cursed families. This is the first time the two families have met in Thunderdome. One SHOULD survive this match to make it to the ever elusive rank 2. It will be a fair fight, however, as neither King IV nor Pilot the Wretched pulled their weapons of choice. The morning line - 1:1. Hakim Warrick (Rank 1, Bloodhaus) vs. The Black Stallion (Rank 2, Pain Unlimited) Weapons: Crowbar, Axe, Lead Pipe, Claymore Analysis - The oddsmakers think this one will be a beat fest with The Black Stallion coming out on top. Hakim Warrick is an untested pup who favors the chains, which did not show up in the weapons draw. However, The Black Stallion can't find his chainsaw in the draw either. Both men are slender and The Black Stallion will be relying on his newly learned fighting style. If The Black Stallion was paying attention to his trainer, he could open up the proverbial Can 'o Whoopass on Hakim. The morning line - 5:2 in favor of The Black Stallion. Schizophrenic (Rank 2, House Corax) vs. Parvus Caesar (Rank 3, Pain Unlimited) Weapons: Crowbar, Lead Pipe, Knife, Spear Analysis - In a strange twist of fate, the fighter from House Corax has not taken up his master's offer of training. He will suffer from this mistake as his only weapon, the spiked club, is nowhere to be seen. Parvus Caesar, however, should be grinning broadly as his knife came up on the draw. Both men will be fighting to get control of the knife. Look for Parvus to do a little House Corax cleaning in this match. The morning line - 2:1 in favor of Parvus. The Chief (Rank 3, Pain Unlimited) vs. Little Jeebie Dee (Rank 5, Malice Unchained) Weapons: Claymore, Spiked Club, Chains, Warhammer Analysis - The main event will pit the fighting stylings of Pain Unlimited against the wits of Malice Unchained. This is a fitting conclusion to the season as the two houses have been slugging it out all season. More often Pain Unlimited's fighters came out the victors, however, Little Jeebie Dee has been hellfire in the ring and looks to gain a fifth straight win. Neither of the opponents benefit from their weapons being in the ring, but at this level, its not really about the weapons. The big question will be whether or not Little Jeebie Dee can intercept any of the lethal stylized strikes that The Chief will be sure to throw at him. The oddsmakers say that he will. The morning line - 2:1 in favor of Little Jeebie Dee. I'll do my best to run these fights this weekend. I'd like to get Season 2 started soon. There are a lot of good ideas in the poll thread. |

Dude, your family couldn't bring pain and anguish on an anthill. If you think that destroying this Pilot is painful wait until Pilot #23 takes you down. You won't know what hit you. In fact, your family is so ready to die that I heard your owner dug your grave and the graves of your children and grandchildren, because if you lose there is no point in keeping your line of losers around.

Little Jeebie Dee is getting impatient at the stalling tactics that The Chief is throwing his way...

Latest Update:
We were supposed to close on our house sale and house purchase on May 6th. As it turns out, our buyer backed out of the deal. We just got financing to do the deal without a contingency and will be closing May 27th. If this pans out, I hope to have the dynasty back up and running by mid-June. |

Contrary to popular belief, I didn't remember this thread because of the situation in New Orleans but because I was cleaning out old bookmarks so I was looking at some old threads and said "hm... wonder if we could get this one back on track"
