KWhit, if you don't see the need to change any of the text or the sponsorship (I just put us because we're behind in our polls, but so are others), then feel free to post it in the main thread whenever.

Lathum - care to share what you spotted in PF? I understand not wanting to say something in the main thread possibly but hopefully you will share here.

K to all - Then what is the plan? Partisan or wolf. If we are unsure then I'd rather miss on a Repub wolf guess than a Dem wolf guess. On the other hand, if we have a very good idea that we know a Dem wolf then let's get him. |

We could nominate Henry for speaker if we weren't comfortable with PackerFan

I agree (about PackerFan). I'm torn on whether or not we should vote for a Dem or a Repub today. We're much more likely to get a wolf by vote for a Dem. But we give up our advantage. |

Well I personally think the Dem wolves should night kill a Republican tonight to keep us in the majority.

Pass says the GOP will offer a bill to repeal the bill we passed on Friday. All that was left was the "brutal" clause, so that seems like a big winner.

It actually makes sense for the wolves to kill a repub tonight anyway, as that evens the numbers down a bit making it harder for us to pinpoint who the Dem wolves are (assuming there's 2 dem wolves vs 1 repub wolf).

Here is the problem I see.
Mathmaticaly the smart move is vote a Dem today as a wolf, but the problem is each time we miss on it we make it even more attractive to continue to vote Dems out. So until we get a wolf we are going down a path that has us voting Dems out each day. I'm not confident enough in my wolf read so I say we keep the numbers advantage |

The night kill of Path + the votes on Mrs. S. give us a something to work from -- certainly more than a more random shot on the GOP.

I just want to point out to the wolves that if we do vote to censure a Democrat today and are wrong, the logical thing for you wolves to do is to night kill a Republican.
Because if we're wrong and you kill a Dem (don't forget that I will likely be protected by the BG or Doctor), then we'll basically be down to 2 wolves out of 4 uncleared suspects. So our odds of getting a wolf out of that group are pretty darn good. So if we Censure a dem, do us a solid by killing a Repub tonight. k - thanks. |

If we do go with myself for President I would reccommend at least one support for me to boost my popularity even more. I know I will get slurried on election night by the Repubs. We can still support some Dems tonight (or our bill) who trail in the polls.

CR tells Pass that if we repeal the BG law, the cunning wolf rider goes to. We can submit another BG law, but the wolves cannot offer the cunning wolf rider again.
We lose the BG for a night, but the wolves lose the cunning wolf in perpetuity. Thoughts? |

Which bill should I submit? A new BG bill or the non-duplication thing?

I don't think we need to do the BG bill tango. We passed a bill making everyone subject to the seer, effectively neutralizing the cunning wolf's ability. Nevermind.

I like the non-duplication bill as the additional power it gives us is relatively small.
I support Chubby for President as I don't have enough popularity and Kwhit for leader. I have no problem with a nomination for speaker if we think PackerFanatic might not get republican support, but I don't think it is critical altough it should help my re-election campaign. As for wolf vote, I was leaning towards mccollins on Friday and see nothing to change my mind. However, for party unity could support heinze but we should make sure to have some votes on a democrat perhaps splitting Packer / mccollins and let the republicans take the partisan vote penalty.

Here is a bill that I would like to propose which I alluded to in my vote last night.
Whereas, the Supreme Court has occasionally exercised line item veto power to benefit the wolf party, be it resolved that: If the Supreme Court declares a bill unconstitutional then the entire bill is invalidated include wolf riders.

I think KWhit has to PM CR that I am the pres nominee.
I think we need to go after a repub today to help with the election. I dropped in overall popularity and have to assume it was because of yesterday's wolf vote I also don't want us to get into the habit of always voting for a Dem. Again, if we have a clearcut dem then let's vote him but otherwise I think we need to go Repub wolf today. I'm looking at jeheinz as my #1 suspect right now. |
