OK, moving ahead with info. I would love it if others would follow suit:
Day 0: shopping, pottery, no results of interest Day 1: stayed on boat on account of being dumb WW player Day 2: turtles, helped teacher |

Wow Lathum passed Claphamsa as the most talkative in this game thus far.

nfg, you should know by now that I can't post from work either...at all. And I leave by 4 in the morning. I also walked through ten miles of blizzard snow every day to get to school when I was a youngin'. Just saying, if I can do it...but anyway, I didn't even vote for you, what are you worried about?

Well, no one at that point has a "strong" voting record, but certainly people can establish "suspicious" voting records in even a short time. When there is little information to go on, sometimes you just have to act on what little information there is.

I don't see statement A and statement B as being in disagreement here, assuming your statement B is referring to the opinions hoops expresses in the quote you quoted. Nothing he says suggests he believes randomness is part of his view of the game.

I am not going to be able to do much tomorrow during the day, So I will put in my vote now. We now have three that have missed the boat. we need to find out if that is a sign of Wolfiness. so I will vote for the only one of the 3 currently on the vote.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be much else for me to say that hasn't already been said. I tried to go snorkeling at the shipwreck (popular place), and was told I couldn't go (sounds like what Lathum got). As I didn't put down another option, I simply returned to the boat.
I think we need to form a consensus on who to vote for to ensure a lynch. I think we have to assume at least majority. I don't want to miss another day betting on Barkeep's 40%. Sonic Youth is off the boat. The next two vote getters were jeheinz and st.cronin. I'm still not ready to vote for jeheinz, so I am going to go with st.cronin, in the hope that enough of us will vote to ensure a lynch. I don't really have a reason to vote for st.cronin or to not vote for him, but the fact others might is enough to sway me to throw my vote there. Since, again, I will not be around for the first deadline, I won't be able to react and change to voting trends, I am afraid. VOTE ST.CRONIN

VOTE SWAGGS I can't remember much help he's been; however, this is a vote without much behind it. Regardless, I probably will not change my vote because I have a pretty busy day. |

VOTE SWAGGS when I said I was hung over I was just saying it in characture, there was never a choice to stay on because I was hung over, I just choose to stay. This compunded with the fact Swaggs stayed on the boat yesterday and someone had to cut the ropes is enough to get my vote. |

Yes, Taz pointed out the rule that their role has to be revealed when they are totally out of the game. Post #3 says that Sonic Youth has been removed by the police Alan's message said we had to stay here to deal with legal issues. Based on these facts, I don't think anyone is completely out of the game yet. |

Can someone help me out? I didn't see this story about boat ropes being cut in Alan's messages. Was this just in Lathum's PM since he was on the boat as well and had to "fix the ropes" as he said? |

mccollins, I think you have it right - Lathum is the one who is talking about foiling a plot to cut the boat ropes. I didn't see anything of the sort in Alan's message.
You can choose to believe Lathum, challenge him on his story, or flat out think he is lying. But there isn't anything from Alan that I saw supporting the idea of boat ropes. |

You were on the boat during the day so I would think that you would mention the story about the ropes being cut - if it happened. Either Lathum is making up an elaborate story (and he seemed very freaked last night that he was about to be night killed) or you or Swaggs could have been the one on the boat who cut the ropes. Also, talking about gathering consensus to ensure a lynch sounds wolfish to me in the context of this game, but I could be hearing things. Sidenote: ntndeacon is the only one who hasn't told where they went on their day 3 excursion, but he wasn't able to be on much at all. |

I'm likely going to be out until after the 3PM deadline, so I'll be putting a vote in now. I'll trust Lathum on his story for the time being and follow his vote on a guy who was on the boat.

That's not why I think its misguided. Its that I think the wolves are basically playing this game the same way the villagers are, with the difference that they have extra knowledge. I could be wrong about this. |

I'm going to go ahead and get a vote in today rather than wait around like yesterday. If Lathum is making all this up, that's a pretty huge trap he's setting for himself. Thus, like hoops, I'll choose to believe for now.
Swaggs was on the boat (and why did you go Fiesta Boat Partying twice?), but Chief Rum needs to explain some things too. VOTE SWAGGS |

I don't have light to shed on it yet. I met my requirement - not sure if there would have been punishment for not doing so, or if there is an upcoming reward for doing so.
