Yet you still beat me. That last request for tickets was my mistake. Was nothing good in the three and got stuck with going the long route around. Wa actually gonna complete it if I'd had just one more turn.

Good game

I think I got lucky being able to finish that Houston route the long way and then I got the 6 route at the top to put me ahead at the end.

Good game.

Samurai Bloodshow is down to 99 cents from its usual price of 4.99. It's a kind of Plants vs Zombies strategic defense games with collectible cards but with a very Japanese Samurai feel to it that appeals to me very much. It's also playable in VS mode via Gamecenter although I've yet to experiment with it.

They're kind of awesome.

Anybody here use Tapatalk for FOFC on iPhone? I've had some issues with search and threads with many pages (such as the last movie thread which shows new activity but doesn't load pages...).

It's a 7 instead of the 't', not both. I'll double check, though.

EDIT: Oh, hell, Gamecenter is trickier than I thought. I'm bri7r0ck88. Sheesh.

just sent you a friend invite.

And speaking of TTR:Pocket, anybody got the 1910 expansion? I did although I've yet to try it out.

I'm really enjoying the game so far. Every game has got some buildup to it where you plan out routes and grab lots of coloured wagons then bang one of the players will start placing them and the scramble starts. Fun

I'd recommend changing out the head unit. It's really easy to do, and most likely the best option. FM modulators are all crap, especially if you live in the city. If it's an older car, with a basic radio, changing it out will probably cost you like ~100 if you just get something basic.

I put this one in my van
http://www.amazon.com/Dual-XR4110--D...0034575&sr=8-7

Obviously nothing super special, but it works for what I want it to do.

You also need a wiring harness for your specific kind of car, and then it basically breaks down into matching colored wires and taping them together.

If your stereo has a ton of complex controls and information from the car, you probably wouldn't want to change it out.

There's a featured app (at least for iPad) for a 99c Willams arcade emulator. Comes with 10 games, you can buy more, just played Joust (free), worth the buck already. Buzzard bait!

I just figured out this morning that I am unable to start multiplayer games of TTR because my iphone is a company phone and they have disabled multiplayer gaming in the profile.

So, I will need you guys to start games with me if you want to play.

Reckless Racing 2 is 99 cents this weekend, down from $4.99. A very nice top down racer.

Fly with Me is free although it's usually only 99 cents. It's a fun "tap to flap" kind of game...

Man, I thought for sure I had that big game of TTR won when I finished my fifth ticket. Stupid longest train thing.

Love the game, like others have mentioned, really wish there was a way to chat within the game

That was a good game. I finished two big tickets, and thought I had a shot at longest train since you had a two train spur. I was a little nervous with my last draw of tickets because if they were not even close then I would have been screwed. Luckily there was one close enough to extend to. The five player game gets crowded quick.

I really hate how the notifications for TTR go through GameCenter, how if you close down the app you have to go back through GC to get to your turn.

Also, though I'm playing TTR, I still very much prefer Carcassonne. I feel like I have no idea what the rules are on TTR. Every turn I learn something new.

I got Ticket To Ride Pocket. Evidently someone already had Izulde, so I'm Izulde Jestor if anyone wants to play me. Just did a 4 player game against 3 AI opponents for my first spin. Took second place, which wasn't too shabby for my first time ever playing the game.

Sorry about that, FM and Brian. I hit Cancel when the Wi-Fi blipped out thinking I'd just try it again later and it booted me out the game.

That was my fault.

I bought this when you mentionned it but have yet to play with it.

Same thing with Tikal and Tigris and Euphrates that I both bought for 99 cents moments ago. They're both based on board games and both have turn based gameplay. Tigris was mentioned a few times in here but Tikal intrigued me.

Anybody playing either of these two?

Alright, anybody care to identify what the "best" Kariosoft game is? I have Pocket League Story but had some issues understanding WTF was going on.

But I'm hearing so much about them, I feel like I should give it more of a chance. So...GO!

I really liked Game Dev Story and Grand Prix Story. Have bought Pockey League Story but have yet to try it.

Pocket Academy was ok and I had fun with it but it was not as much fun as with the other two I just mentionned.

I liked the cycles of developping a product (a game or a race car) than compete against others with it.

Game Dev Story is the most fun by far IMO. Pocket League Story or Mega Mall Tycoon Story are probably tied for second favorites.

Hot Springs Story is a lot of fun too. I agree Pocket Academy is a notch below the other offerings. Last and least is Edo Towns. Just could not get into that one at all.

I'm hoping they port World Cruise Story to iOS, or even that space exploration game I forget the name of.

Edit: Grand Prix Story for me is probably in the middle. Slightly below Pocket League Story/Mega Mall/Hot Springs trio which are all really close together, but far above Pocket Academy and Edo Towns.

Supposedly the space game is next on iPhone. At least that's what I've read in other places. They're due for a release, though. Nothing since the first week in January on iPhone.

Game Dev, Grand Prix, Pocket League, and Mega Mall are my favorites so far. I haven't put much time into Edo Towns or Hot Springs yet. Academy is the weakest of the games I've played.

Me! Me! Me! I love that game, wish more people played!

Also I just saw a cute platformer game at PAX East, Beans Quest. It's 1.99 but really cute.

Also looks like there is a tabletop card game called Food Fight from Playdek, Inc that has a $1.99 iOS app. I'm gonna give it a go, if anybody else wants to give it a go...there is single player stuff and 2-4 player online.
