EDIT: Nevermind, I see in that article that he announced he was undergoing treatment back in 2022.

One of the most memorable sports voices of all time.

I first got into college basketball around the time he and Alonzo Mourning were at Georgetown together. That era of basketball in the Big East was so much fun with all of the stars and different coaching personalities (John Thompson, Jim Boeheim, Lou Carnesecca, Rollie Massimino, and Jim Calhoun).
