[quote]time for a Jim Jones Kool-Aid party [\QUOTE]

after the election. This from a 20 year old girl who has literally never worked a day in her life, a mom who hasn't worked in well over 30 years, and a dad who only has a job because of nepotism.

but a black guy being president is what's wrong with America.

I'm guessing this thread could go bonkers today but it's good to see the immature stupidity from both sides. Some random samplings from my feed.

(Full disclosure, I voted Obama. It was more of an anti-Romney vote than a Pro-Obama vote).

I have had a load of woe is the country posts from Republicans already. So, my game for the day is to post as many over the top pro-Dem posts as possible to see if any of these people will delete me.

I don't see it as the end of the world. I see it has 4 more years of nothing changing.

3 recent favorites from the crazy Romney guy, all from before the "landslide" of course

Well, well, well. ONE more day (or at worst 1 1/2 days) until the Romney era begins. Osama will be a thing of the past and the worst mistake American voters ever, ever made in 2008, or, in the voting timeline, the worst mistake ever. I truly feel sorry for those out there that voted or will vote for the opponent, not because of the party line (which is understandable)....but, honestly, HOW could you vote for that GUY, in general? A lying, pathetic, pack a day smoker (at least), more than moderate drinker and one who hides behind the 90% liberal media? (thank God for Fox news) Also, a cover up artist for Benghazi, of which, seriously, there needs to be a congressional investigation because the executive branch chooses to lie about it (thank you Mr. McCain for doing that) and last but not least, I can't understand what people could possibly like about him? Give me ONE reason? (and I'll find a way to challenge it, believe me). Thank you America, Thank God for President Romney and God Bless America!

Will "sort of " dominate the election: what do I mean? My prediction is that he wins the election 295 E.V.'s to Osama bin Satan's 233. You heard it here first!
Go Mitt! We need you and all of America needs you!
Bought two books of yours yesterday and loving the reading!
Sincerely, C Morris , Littleton, CO

(check out the "Osama lied in last night's debate" facebook post from For America.....of course it's an understatement, I think this guy's life IS one big lie!) Who is that up there? Yup, you guessed it: Hitler! Adolf Hitler on candid camera....soon to be vacating the White House! (Michelle and the kids have already started packing!)

and I'd been watching all day, waiting for his response. and it was worth the wait. boy, was it ever...

Attention to my friends list here on facebook: I say this with as much of a smile as I can muster after such a disappointing day yesterday: PLEASE "unfriend" me if you voted for the our renewed so called leader in Washington who won yesterday. I'm not going to put up with your liberal b.s., socialistic / socialistic heathcare mindset or just overall un-american democratic nonsense for the next 4 years or thereafter. By voting for him, you just assured a demoralization of our country as well as guaranteeing a communist state that will be in place come two years from now. I'm ashamed and disappointed in you if you voted for that person because he's ruined/is ruining and will continue to ruin what our forefathers worked for for so many years. Again, please unfriend me if you voted for our current president. You just helped disgrace this country even further. I don't know where this country is headed and frankly, it scares me now more than ever. Just have to keep my faith in God I guess. Thanks, Chris (P.S. if you voted for Mitt or ANYBODY else, liberaterian, whatever, then I look forward to still getting to know you from here on out, just as long as it wasn't "him")

I'm pretty sure that guy ought to rethink the friending of Jill Stein voters. That just doesn't seem like it's going to end well.

These are from a coworker of mine. A co-worker that drives a Mercedes and whose two kids each have their own car. He also owns a speedboat. He has a house in a nice area of town. He has a job and sadly as far as I can tell is not in danger of losing it (which is a shame, he's an idiot). It might be a good thing I wasn't at work today...

Having driven in and around northern VA for the past 15 years, I can state without hesitation that I am a "have not."

The mandate is clear. I'll expect a contribution from each of my "have" friends by the end of the year. To show that I'm not some godless commie, I'll let you choose. Please contribute to Kylie's college fund, Thomas's college fund, or if you're feeling particularly generous, I could really use a nice house in a fancy neighborhood, nothing gaudy - maybe an acre.

I don't like the system, but hey, it is what it is.

Mediocrity here I come!

Either FB is broken tonight or else nearly everyone on it is just exhausted at this point.

Past couple of hours have been deader than Christmas Eve on my wall. Nothing except posts from various bands, it's like a ghost town.

And I haven't been mass defriended (yeah, I checked).

I'm also down one...but, none of the people I suspected. So I can't pinpoint who it is, which means I never talked to them anyway.

I love this comment (only for the fact of completely missing the point):

"She is an American. And as such has the right to say whatever the hell she wants, regardless of whether or not any of you agree with it. If you don't like it, don't read it, watch it, listen to it or acknowledge it."

Nice strawman. No one is saying that she can't say whatever she wants. However, others do have the right to ridicule her for her comments.

i think it's odd that people interpret "maybe he will get assassinated this term" as either meaning "i am going to assassinate the president" or "i am calling for the assassination of the president".

Agreed, didn't someone in the Presidential Campaign thread basically say the same thing. Something like they think that if Obama wins that increases the chance of a possible assassination this next 6 months...?

anytime you use the words assasinate and president in the same sentance it will draw attention. It is like saying boomb and airplane in the same sentance.

Yeah, I'm worried that it's a distinct possibility.

Was just at the 6th Floor in Dallas about a month ago and saw a lot of similarities. A full page newspaper ad taken out the morning before he arrived in Dallas seems particularly familiar.

History doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes (Twain, right?). I think there are enough dissimilarities that it doesn't happen. But there are enough similarities that it's very possible.

That skit you just posted is a clear rip-off of a "The State" skit in the early 90's.

This was a response to someone's post about going out to eat. Don't know the poster but based on this post I certainly don't want to. The original poster being reponded to is actually pretty cool so it says nothing about her.

Oooh! Some real drama on my Facebook instead of those messages to an unnamed recipient.

This is an exchange between my distant cousin and his baby momma. These two are a match made in GED school.

HE: Bawn fire? Hell yea

SHE: Must be nice to have the freedom to do whatever while i take care of our sick child and dealing with him screaming at the door for you since you haven't called or seen him in a week! Lets not forget the fact you took our vehicle away so we cant get meds or go to the Dr or did you get us anything we askefor . Have fun HE!

HE: It is nice you should know all about it considering a week ago you never had BOY and was always giving him off to everyone else but the first time I try getting a little time for myself you come with this shit SHE I know what your problem is its not because I didn't have BOY this week it's because you had him for a full week so how you say that... If you don't like what you read on my Facebook you can fucking delete me or don't fucking read it

SHE: Lol that's funny! again with your bs stories. Honestly i don't care what you put on fb but when your ignoring us then posting shit on fb we have a little problem don't ya think? And a real father wouldst give a fuck if he's child's mother is sick he'd still come visit his child or at least call! As far as giving him off to everyone... What's it called to you when your just not giving a fuck? And you don't call or cone get him? I didn't know giving my child's father free visitation rights when ever wants is pawing my child off! Oh and if you need a doctors excuse for why i couldn't keep BOY for a night last week my doctor wouldn't mind writing you one!

HE: Your so dumb and if you think what your posting on my Facebook makes you look any better of a person.... Half the people that will read this already know the bullshit talk and lies you come up with

SHE: No HE idc what people think! Maybe you should answer my text or the 124849282 phone calls and i wouldn't be on your fb!

Why are they leaving out 1 letter for certain words!?!?! That drives me nuts when people do that. Just spell the f'ing thing out, you don't get charged by the letter.

Is this person employed. And by employed, I mean not working as a bouncer or some job...no wait, even a bouncer has to read drivers licenses. So that's probably too complex for them.

Not a post but wanting to rant about a Share....

No one is going to give away a million dollars if you share a photo!!! That is not the lottery winner, just your typical facebook idiot!

Sorry, that is starting to pop up all all over the place now.

yeah, it's stupid. you will only get a share of the million if you have publicly made a statement of copyright ownership. otherwise, facebook gets your million. duh.

Dear first time moms (sorry, I just don't see dads posting this kind of stuff):

You're not the first person on Earth to have a kid. So here's a few things that no one gives a shit about...

1. Yes, we know when a baby starts teething, they cry a lot.
2. Yes, we know, they are tiny. Duh.
3. Yes, we know that babies like to grab and hold onto fingers.
4. Shocker, but, yes, they also tend to spit up something you just fed them.
5. No, your kid doesn't look cute in 'X' outfit. Your kid looks like every other kid at that age that's dressed in similar looking outfits.
6. Yes, they get sick. Instead of posting it on Facebook, take them to a doctor.
7. For the 14,654,836,578th time, yes you won't always get enough sleep.
8. For the 300,456,212,456,323.7th time, yes, it's difficult being a parent. Maybe you should have thought things out a little more before hand.
9. No, I don't care that today is your kids 5th week birthday.
10. Yes, it would be soooo much easier if they could just tell us what they need.

Don't get me wrong though. I think it's awesome that you love your kid and dote on the little one. It's just the inane status updates about stuff that pretty much every single mom has gone through throughout the course of human history that I can do without. Any posts like the ones above, will now be hidden.

See stuff like this doesn't bother me I guess I kind of figure that is what facebook is for. My wife likes to share stuff about our kid with her mom, my mom, and her friends. I would suggest unfriending all of these first time moms (or blocking) if it bothers you because I don't see the problem with this at all.

I don't think it's a "problem" or "wrong" in any way, and if anything, the problem is with me, I admit it. If I could will myself to care what everyone's kid looks like in some new outfit, I would, and I'd probably fit into society better (or at least I wouldn't have to fake it.)

I always liked going with this as a response:

"Come on man, that's not hard. I'll tell you what hard is, try talking your girlfriend into her third consecutive abortion." - David Cross
