So we could wrap this up tonight, assuming our guesses on the number of wolves is correct.

If brit is bad, D2 the LV side had to feel like they were up against the ropes as I came out against brit and Jackal against font. I was also implying that Jackal and brit were working together. Then D3 their team spends a bunch of resources ($1100) to have their one unimplicated member clear Jackal, thinking it would end the notion that he and brit were bad working together and buy trust for Zinto. Zinto then helps save brit with his late InBlue vote and votes font over brit D2 because font had been more solidly outed. The pieces of the puzzle fit together pretty well.

Yeah I was coming around to it being Brit while I was cooking. (honest ) Everyone else has provided some service to the village from what I can remember. Of course he might still be the victim of the crooked cop but I was going to vote him today anyway, barring a clearing seer scan.
My bid is in and I forgot to bet so, Vote Britrock Vote nightfall Remember to get your bid in before nightfalling, in case Brit is clean. |

I'll be interested to hear what happened with the night kills the mafia bought and the favors they got assuming this is indeed the end.
I definitely got a bit lucky with the bullet lynch giving me some extra funds early ($509), then the InBlue lynch put another $1000+ in my pocket when it looked like brit was a sure lynch. I'm hoping to hear I actually got a couple blocks out of the funds. I purposefully bid enough on the BG D2 to go over the $1000 starting amount combined with the Cookie bid so the mafia would think I didn't buy it. But definitely brit is more charmed. He was the first to get pressure back on D2 and made it to the (presumed) last one standing despite being in the thick of two lynches. |

I also wonder if brit chose Jackal over me to be friends for life (I'm hurt about that by the way) because they tried to kill me. Hadn't thought of that before.

Danny currently has the most posts of all the wolves.
I think this is really a game that punished the wolves because of their real-life time problems. |

The police, and the citizens, are buoyed by their successful efforts in cleaning up the streets of Atlantic City. Several mafia members are behind bars, one dead and the mob is on the run. Today a tip comes in about one Britrock88 and the SWAT team has his hotel room surrounded in minutes. He is dragged out in handcuffs while a team of detectives sweep the hotel room. Anonymous sources say detectives find evidence connecting Britrock to several unsolved murders in the past several months.
The DA schedules a press conferences hours later, announcing the arrest of Britrock88. It is a media circus. Not only have the police found possibly the last member of the mafia, but it turns out Britrock is someone all of you know. A child celebrity on TV, Britrock was as public a figure as could be. After several failed movies and a well-publicized glue-sniffing addiction, Britrock had refused press and disappeared, as best he could. Well, here he is in Atlantic City, behind bars. It's the biggest news story of the year. The worst part? The next day an internet journalist posts material on his blog indicating why the police story doesn't make any sense. Sources come forward related to the crimes Britrock has been accused of and say he couldn't be the man. Within 24 hours the DA's office, egg on its face, is forced to admit that the evidence appears to have been planted. Britrock was innocent. |

Britrock88 was The Celebrity. All he wanted to do was enjoy the week at the casinos and not attract any press or attention.
By lynching the Celebrity, the village has caused a media circus. National media crews descend on the city and the place goes into gridlock. Tomorrow, on Day 8, no services will be offered except blackmarket services. |

Though to be honest, I would not have believed brit if he had told the truth and revealed, which he probably couldn't have done without causing the same media circus.

Wow. Well, we knew the bad cop thing could happen, so that's not really a surprise. But this Celebrity stuff is out of left field. This could delay us abit in our search for the last mafia.
I guess the good news is that we know DV was reporting what he was told, so we don't go down the road of lynching him for this.

So we have a black market buyer and one missing bid. Path or Mau amongst unscanned people. CW should use Cookie on one of them, Jackal should scan the other. If we end up with a successful night kill, it clears the person he used Cookie on. If there's a successful night kill and the scan comes up clean, then we have a cunning to deal with.

Unless they can put in an extra bid with their favor, I suppose that can't be completely discounted, but I'm reaching on that and the cunning option to be honest.

I forgot bid. I assumed game was over. I won 37 bucks though.
Who suggested the low bidding war? That's what I'd probably question the most... I'd rather have had brit reveal if he could have... then he would have proved it with the gridlock and joined the cot.. |

Wasn't DV scanned? Whether he was or not, I just wanted to point out that if he's a wolf, the missed seer call on brit shouldn't be evidence of it, because it's clear from the writeup that brit was the victim of the bad cop setup. So DV presumeably reported exactly what his seer read told him.

Best theory is that brit was set up by the bad cop by the mafia earlier in the game. So he came up as a baddie to your seer.

I suggested it. I fail to see what was wrong with it, as we have more information than if we had all just bid randomly. We know the people that bid as we coordinated did not buy the hitman because they bought other services. Quote:
True, would've been better than what happened. I knew there was a potential for hidden roles in this game, but considering we had gone this long without seeing one, I didn't expect something like this. |

Bleh, sorry Brit. I guess I have to lend some credence to Narc's theory about the crooked cop lasting the whole game now, unless there was a hidden mechanism at play.
