Vols lack of physical development getting exposed badly. This might be over by the middle of q2.

I'm legit going to laugh out loud if Sparty wins @ Illinois with eight players suspended.

My guess is that in those little boxes, they have cell phones, poor angles on the screens, and what we see at home is 100 times more detailed. But they refuse to move replay operations to a central studio because they think it's a bad look for the sport.

Illinois hasn't had a signature win at this point and Sparty probably has siege mentality right now. I think Illinois ultimately pulls it out, because they have a running back and State's defense lost all its depth, but this doesn't surprise me at all. Illinois is reshaping itself as Wisconsin south, but that transition isn't complete yet.

Vols are lucky to still have even a faint chance after that half. I guess that ought to be some consolation.

It isn't.

They've called a scared game far more than they played a scared game.

That's been their downfall today, along with their lack of equal physicality.

This game is close at a neutral site. As it is, the score is closer than how it feels.

Heupel better not say a #$@#$ word in the postgame other than "we let our team down today, we didn't coach well"

At the very least it has the usual SEC "can't let the losing team lose by too much, don't want them dropping in the rankings!" feel.

It was over before kickoff. Vols coaches never gave them a chance.

Hogs made a good effort coming back. Needed 2 TDs and 2 2pt conversions. We came up short on the 2nd 2pt.

Never should have gotten to that point. We sucked today. And no, our stupid defense didn’t pick up the slack when the offense was floundering

LSU- Alabama looks like a classic game in the series at 7-6. Notre Dame up 14-0 on Clemson at half. The night looks interesting so far.

Between some pain meds and flipping back and forth between ND and Kelly, I'm confused about which game I'm watching way more often then I care to admit.

Michigan had a punt blocked and Rutgers returned it for a TD. Rutgers has done a good job of slowing down Michigan though. It's a good game.

And if you want to make the Vols look liike they're coached by a composite of Saban and Bellichek?

Watch Miami play football.

Haven't been able to watch, but hopefully that nonsense in New Jersey is over with now. Couple of quick touchdowns, and double the total yardage for the game now.

Weird week. A lot of 2-loss pretenders getting exposed. Georgia making a huge statement - unquestionably king of the mountain until proven otherwise.

I wonder if Clemson has any more of that late magic. Both TCU and Clemson have had overtime wins this season.

Guessing the final score being so lopsided this outs an end to any hopes of a playoff spot for Clemson.

I don't know. I was at the 97 or 98 game we won 47-0. That was a terrible team, coming off sanctions playing with an empty cupboard IIRC.

'97 ... but that team finished 5-6 with four of the losses coming to top 25 teams. 37th in PPG, 65th (of112)in points allowed. That team was unsuccesful.

This team spends extended periods looking like they've never seen a football game, nor a football, before.

Defensively, they look like Taggart-FSU levels of bad.

Two years ago Miami was beating FSU at half 38-3. My how things have changed in 2 years.

Norvell trying to win over hardened/skeptical FSU fans by going for it on 4th down and scoring under a minute left when it was unnecessary against a rival.
