Hehe, no, I belong here, and am actually happy to have avoided D1 and D2 lynches and made it this deep. Regardless of getting killed, I'm satisfied.

Second time I was a day 1 lynch, both times I was not around, so I can't complain, especially since I didn't get a vote in. Today is my birthday though, so you guys should have lynched me today.

TheNorm, one thing that I try to do in games - especially those where I'm under suspicion - is analyze the threads with the intent of helping identify wolves.

This seems very obvious, but it is not always followed. Putting out an argument "I'm a bad lynch" is not the same as saying "I think these players are wolves, based on their actions in the thread". If you do the latter, then in your death the other players can go back to review your rationale and treat it as 100% honest truth. Something that they cannot do with the players that are still alive.

Arguing "I'm a bad lynch, why won't you listen to me?" is not a long-term sustainable argument. All uncleared players can make the exact same argument.

In games where you play a vanilla villager you have basically nothing to lose. You are not protecting a role, the village doesn't lose anything substantial with your death. For me, that gives a certain amount of freedom to play very aggressively in the thread, creating pressure on players through questioning, voting, etc. I think it is harder to do when you have a role like the seer, where drawing too much attention increases your chances of being lynched for saying something that is incorrectly perceived or getting lynched by the wolves for dropping hints.

Anyway, hope to see you back at a point where you feel like you would enjoy playing again.

And that's how hoops avoided getting lynched as a villager for the longest time.

Norm, I'm sorry, I wanted to go a different route rather than address the Hoops-Jackal question, so it's my fault. I'm sorry you didn't feel listened to, I think your lynch occurred on a day and in a game where there hasn't been a whole lot of talk going on (no offense to Abe, feels like a burned out group). Anyway Norm, I really do hope you continue to play.

I agree with this. I think there's been a fair amount of arm twisting these last couple of games. I was going to ask whoever went next to not really recruit much and be willing to go with a small game. I am certainly willing to do that. However, I think there is some excitement surrounding our 100th game and what Abe came up to do with it. So, I will having some downtime before starting the next game. When the current game is done I will suggest some dates. For those that can't get their fix, I am going to suggest a format that should allow for some very quick play and be smaller than even a small game.

The way he posted in the last 5 minutes of the day. He said one thing but voted a completely different way. Then he seemed to try to set up the next day by pointing everyone where to go when the inevitable from day one would happen. Just didn't sit right with me.

I probably wouldn't have done it still that early if I felt I would be able to use my power later. Based on what Passacaglia told me about my role, I wasn't even sure if I would have a chance on day 1 or any day even to use my role. (I had to not only be in the lineup, but I also had to choose to kill someone who was in the starting lineup), so really could possibly never get to use it. I sent in a kill order with like 1 or 2 minutes left to spare in the day just on the chance I could use it.

Honestly though Alan, other than my first game as a wolf, I don't think I have played against you when I was a wolf. You definitely pick up some things others would not have. That said, in regards to my voting different from what I said, that I am not sure. I held fast on the no no lynch and at the end there, there really was no meaninful vote. I am pretty sure I would have done the same thing as a villager.

I just don't understand Lathum's play at all. I never accused him of being a wolf and even said he was a villager.

I don't know yet. I can do the 2 PM deadline games easily since I usually have nothing to do at work but the 8 PM games are harder to do since I am watching soccer at that time.

Do what I do - Put your computer in the living room facing the TV and sit sideways.
