Personally, I think this is half dozen of one, 6 of the other - the wolves will be dead after D5 anyway, brutal doesn't matter one bit at this point.

I said I agreed with CR. My math was off. Also its easy to obsess about something when no one is posting...I was just fleshing out an issue and CR helped me. I say we go after JAG, then you guys can choose between me and Tyrith.

There is no prize for guessing who is targeted today, as JAG wins in a landslide.
The Jester slides over to JAG, shakes his hand, thanks him for participating, then slides a shiv right into his heart. As JAG is dying, a ball of fire shoots from his chest and vaults away from The Jester. In glee the Jester follows it, as does your view. The fireball comes to a stop at the person of Chief Rum, and incinerates him. JAG was the Ancient of Fire! Chief Rum was the FBI Agent! |

Tyrith or NFG - do either of you have anything further that you can offer about your role? Perhaps choices that you have made along the way? Interactions with other players?

This will sound bad but it is the truth. I have been given two choices. The first, whether to pick up an item. I did pick it up. The second. What to become. I chose. The description says a series of choices but it wasnt. It was one lone choice. It makes me look like a liar but the description and the reality are two different things. |

I also do seem resigned to my fate.I have a reason to be ok with dying. I also know that the minds are basically made up, even though I have been consistent. The fact is my order of reveal as well as the description being different from what happened have made it so people distrust me. I could also add my emotional responses which is just how I play. I like to get involved, it makes it fun for me. Im ok with being lynched and I dont see any other way at the moment. |

I think this is a nuanced point that probably should not be dropped. We don't know that Loki and ntn are on our side -- they have win conditions that are not necessarily mutually exclusive from yours (for once I'll stop pretending that I'm one of you), but they might be. Once you guys nail the last wolf, that's all the lynches you get. With the game in hand, almost all the roles known, and only one wolf left, I think it's time to start looking at the neutral players. I think ntn is the way to go here on the off chance that Tyrith is the last wolf. VOTE NTNDEACON |

As soon as all non-commoner aligned roles are removed (except the Minotaur, who cannot be lynched), lynches will cease. In other words, you'll find out if/when you lynch all the wolves. Last edited by The Jackal : 06-29-2009 at 10:43 AM. |

How much light can you shed on the neutral characters for us? Are they by definition "non-commoner aligned" because they're not listed as good, or is it case-by-case depending on the nature of the win condition for that character and whether or not their win condition is similar to the commoners, or something else completely? I'm not sure if that makes sense given that I don't know anything about those other neutral characters, so answer however you feel like, I guess! |

The Minotaur is by definition non-commoner aligned, the other two had choices to make. That's really all I'm going to say.

No one has a major win condition that entails anything besides getting to the center or preventing people from getting to the center.

Okay. So it sounds like we don't get to know. On the other hand, it sounds like when they make those choices, they'll become "aligned" with the commoners or not, such that if they aren't, we'll still be able to lynch them after the wolves, and if they are, we won't be able to, but won't want to. Does everyone else get the same read on that as I do?

FTR, my hunch is that both ntn and Loki chose to align themselves with the commoners, especially if they were able to wait a few days before making their choice -- the writing was on the wall pretty quickly. And it sounds like we don't risk much by waiting until after we get the last wolf, anyway.

Pass, I'm getting that same read from the recent moderator posts.
So, may as well pick a wolf. 50/50? Not sure about that. I think Tyrith would have taken the opportunity to defend his position as a villager. As a wolf, I think he tries to stay out of the way and let NFG hang himself ... the strategy that he appears to be executing at the moment. VOTE TYRITH |
