Click the Dueling button while in the main screen, bottom of the left column. Should pull up a screen with lots of red and green circles on your pictures. When you get hit in the dueling replay (or make a hit), it'll show location on the little orange circle that signifies a hit.

just hit a similar wall in world 7 but at Level 32. Two quest I can take. One is "lots of wood" where I need to cut trees in order to bring 24 planks of wood. There's only so much wood cutting you can do in a row though. The other quest is a simple "do this for 4 hours" except the "this" is "building windmills". According to West Stats, I'm currently -39 at building windmills, heh...

I'm sitting at 483/1099 at level 32. Guess I'll do lots of railroad station building to try and level up a bit (47% exp with 71 net labor points)...

See, still tons of stuff to think about even at a much higher level...

Just a thought...FM, do you mind editing your first post to include some of the sites you use to track your stats, inventory, the job calculator, etc...or else add them to the google apps page you have up? I'm sure some of the other noobs would appreciate it and it may eliminate some of the repetitive posts you and some of the more experienced Westerners keep re-posting.

Dayum. Just finished up my first turkey hunting trip. Got 28 of my 110 points needed for lvl 10 in one trip. Also got a Blue Poncho that gives +3 Dodging and +4 aim and sells for 40 bucks. Sweet.

Guys, I'm thinking about spending the $8 bucks or so to get some premium credits for all 4 areas. I'm currently at level 6 (I just started on Sunday). Do you think spending the money will be worth it? I'm eager to move up quickly.

I tend to not spend money in these type of games, so haven't spent any here either. My suggestion though is if you decide you do want to spend money here, I don't think level 6 is the time to do it. Level 6 was fairly easy to level up during.

I would personally wait until you hit one of the ruts where you can't go further with quests very fast any longer and then decide if you want to there. It might help you bridge that gap of levels faster than I had to struggle through it. (I'm close to level 10 finally today after finding a lucky indian necklace last night that allows me to now continue with the quests

I think the big plus of the nuggets is the extra energy and increased rate. If you can be online during the day at various points to update your queue, the 4 at a time might not matter so much.

I can pretty much work on different tasks from 8 AM to Midnight and then sleep it off and repeat. I went from level 6 to 12 in a matter of days working on tasks with XP %'s in the range of 15-25 so, while work = XP, it is essential that you track your jobs and aim for that next higher job XP % so you aren't stuck at the 4% ones.

the ratio of price for outsider to town member is 4 to 1, so yeah donkey is $1000 for outsiders, $250 for town members. Goes the same for every item in every shop.

No special selling price on items you sell to the shop though...

Id' take general store out of the equation. Really not much worth it in level 2. Town hall, now that we've got some thing goings in all town, might be a good idea, since we still have plenty of other level of buildings to build, and one level of Town hall will take 5 off the difficulty, so a long term investment. Tailor level 3 can see some nice items, so definitely on the radar for very soon.

Been planning on going trader. It seems like there are mainly 4 different tasks in this game (building things, shooting people, making money and gaining xp) with an additional two (questing and finding stuff) that complement the previous four.

Since many people already are planning on shooting people or building stuff, and only so much xp to get, that left me with making money I suppose

Census update: I'm up to level 14 with 160 construction LP after the 5% bonus.

I'm going to finish off the gunsmith and then we can decide what the next building will be. I would be leaning toward the hotel to level 2, but I saw the discussion above on the town hall. I could easily be talked into that as well.

mentioned it before, hotel level 2 gives 72 rest point over 8 hours, instead of the usual 64, so 12.5% increase, but will cost $40 instead of $10 for non members of the town.

IMO, the hotel and bank are buildings we should think about upgrading only when we have the residences high enough that everybody who wants to stay and live in the town can. This is not really the case at the moment...

The town hall is a long term investment, as I said before, and the tailor could have benefits for visitors as well as regular town members.

You are right, I forgot about the fact that our temp-residents don't get free hotel stays before they leave town. Upgrading the hotels would only help the builders at the moment. The town hall will require 200 points at a difficulty of 30. The tailor will require 300 points at a difficulty of 45. What say we knock out the town hall first since that should be fairly quick?

But we shouldn't ever have any FOFC non-residents paying to stay in our hotels anyway should we? I mean, at least not except on the odd occasions when we have someone needing to sleep and there's nobody around to give them an invitation. Best I've been able to tell that isn't happening very often so far. Plus any adventurer class that are non-residents are staying in Level 2 hotels for free anyway, so that's a portion of the FOFC population that it wouldn't be an issue for regardless.

My point here isn't really to push for a level two hotel, it's really just to make the point that FOFC'ers should try to avoid paying/paying full price for anything in our towns when it can be avoided.

edit to add: I think some of our FOFC'ers haven't picked up on the fact that El Dolado (and I think Troutville now) are at residence level two, meaning we've got more slots available than before. Still not enough for every player to maintain permanent residency but enough that I don't see a big problem with some players sleeping as members, especially not if they're confident that they'll be back around to withdraw from the town when they wake up (in order to free a spot for someone else to sleep).

I've been trying to not abuse the towns to a point of hurting the town by eating up an extra slot, so I've actually been paying for the hotel each night. If this is the case that we can do that then I will start, but I'm worried that most people have the same sleep schedule as me (ie: do the work during the day and put the character to sleep at night when I really go to bed). It might make the night time town residency hard to come by perhaps?
