The 2058 Amateur Draft
I’m basically picking BAP since I have so many holes on my board. Shepherd went at 1.4; Mincey went 1.8 as expected neither are here for our pick. Okay, our pick has arrived. Is there a homerun here? Holy crap there is. DT Brenden Pierce. 29/98 run d, 35/100 pass, and 79 endurance. That’s hot. I need another DT, but the problem is I have a good D Line save for one DT spot, and I can cover for a weak DT on that line, so it’s not a high priority. Is there a homerun somewhere else, such as CB, LB or RB? You often find those fall to 13. Then best potential LB is Allen Hernandez. He’s not bad. I would likely take him if Pierce was not here - his potentials are 91, 74, 89 and 51, with 56 endurance. For a team with no starting caliber backs, that’s a good choice. But Pierce is there! I have to take Bap and grab Pierce. TE Marc Copeland is someone I want to look at later, but not here. Anyway, our pick in the 2.13 rolls here. We also have the 24th pick this round. Copeland went. Players that intrigue me here include OG Bruce Mittleman, OG Bo Arthur, CB Curtis Lewis is okay, CB Everett Schultz the same, S Lionel Porter is adequate. The BAP is actually DE Juan Suder, but can’t afford to take him. I grab CB Lewis and OG Bo Arthur is there at the 24th selection, so I take him then. 3rd round is here. Do I take S Lionel Porter? There are three legit backup Qbs for my squad that I enjoy too. FB KC Blackburn is nice. But I have a guy I have a feeling about. I think CB Reggie Fuller might be a sleeper, and even if he’s not, he’s a tremendous talent at the KR/PR game and had huge interceptions at 66. He has 10 run D, 16 man to man and 3 zone d. I want to take a shot at him, but I also want Porter for my S spot. Both seem like they are about to go, Porter is 3.5 current and 5.3 total, and second S on the board by current quality, and 5th by potential. CB Fuller looks high by current as well. Who do I take? Both appeal to me strongly. I go with Fuller now, and slow down the sim speed. The S ahead of Porter goes a few picks later, and I make an offer to trade up but I don’t have the ammo, and it falls short. He is taken by Indy near the end of the round, and I miss out on Porter. So who do I take in the 4? I like RB Glenn Moe. The backup Qbs of quality are still here. The top FB is still on the board as well. I take KC Blackburn. He’s the best player on the board and at his position. I won’t have to worry about that position for a while. The 5th arrives, and with it three picks at the 13 ,15 and 16 spots. Moe is still here so I grab him. WR Archie Held is okay. S Buddy Kelllum is a clone of Reggie Fuller in many ways (but I’m not thinking boom). The backup Qbs are all there, I take my choice of the good Qbs now. Who knows if they’ll still be there in the 6. Finally, I take WR Held. The 6th round is here. I grab S Kellum. Now my two 7s arrive. I take WR Everett Perez and LB Robert Harvey. Draft Recap 1.13 - DT Brendan Pierce, Livingstone 2.13 - CB Curtis Lewis, Cincinnati 2.24 - OG Bo Arthur, Oklahoma State 3.13 - CB Reggie Fuller, Maryland 4.13 - FB K.C. Blackburn, Louisiana Tech 5.13 - RB Glenn Moe, Massachusetts 5.15 - QB Clay Gomez, Georgia Tech 5.16 - WR Archie Held, Florida 6.13 - S Buddy Kellum, Washington State 7.9 - WR Everett Perez, Clemson 7.13 - LB Robert Harvey, Rhode Island Let’s hope that we have the foundation of a future team here.

Okay, I’m ready to head for training camp and see what I have before making offers to some free agents for my team
3 trade offers, let’s see. I reject an offer for Brenden Pierce, one for Pat Donovan and one for KC Gladney for a 3rd rounder intrigues me. let’s take a look at my roster and rookies. Unfortunately, no major booms, sad. But, my major guys held serve. Let’s look at the rookies: DT Brenden Pierce, 32/98 CB Curtis Lewis, 23/85 WR Everett Perez, 19/69 S Tito Artis, 24/68 - UFA OG Bo Arthur, 24/66 FB KC Blackburn, 20/60 QB Clay Gomez, 16/45 S Buddy Kellum, 32/32 RB Glenn Moe, 30/30 WR Archie Held, 25/25 CB Reggie Fuller, 24/24 LB Robert Harvey, 20/21 Fuller didn’t boom, but I signed an UFA who can do as well hopefully and Porter would have done in his place and I keep a great retruner on my roster. I cut K Omar Woodard. I signed some players: OT Roger Lira, drafted in the 3rd round by me four years ago and let go as a RFA. He signs for a year. As does LB Wesley Southard, also drafted in the 3rd that year by me and LB Bill Martinez, drafted that year in the 2nd round by me. . OT Winfred Landdeck was drafted in the 3rd round this year but cut, and I sign him. Two other draftees of mine from that year are here and tempt me. RB Mitchell Winslett is here, but he’s not that good, he’s flalenin quality. OG Byron Quinn is here, but he’s basically a one year patch who ‘sbetter than one of my guys, but why psuh it? I cut OT Blake Sayre, Christian Anderson and LB Michael Luce Ah, why not, I sign OG Quinn and cut OG Larry Kinney

The 2058 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
QB Anthony Dorman - Just an old patch RB Ray Peacock - Better than Winslett, but that’s not saying too much. Just a temporary body FB KC Blackburn - Settled in my FB postion for the next three years TE Lincoln Woodson - A great player who can get us yards WR Pat Donovan - A very high quality WR for us WR Everett Perez - The best of the rest OT Roger Lira - One of our patches and signings from Huntington starting OG Bo Arthur - The rookie starts C Korey Kneivel - One of our signings to start for a long term OG Byron Quinn - Another patch from Huntington OT Claude Welch - Old but solid P Ross Von Hagel - A good solid P K Alonzo Bruce - I’ve always wanted to sya this, Allons-Y, Alonzo! DE KC Gladney - Not that hot for 11 years in the league? Think again! DE Kennedy Bourne - The sophomore dropped in value, and I wish I had taken that strong BAP great DE in the 2nd round now. DT Spencer Caldwell - 7th year, solid player, but low in endurance. DT Brenden Pierce _ To him whom much is given, much is expected LB Bill Martinez - Another Huntington refugee for a year for me LB Wesley Southard - Will start for me as well LB Calvin White -The 7th rounder last year starts due to no competiion for the spot at all CB Reggie Fuller - Get me picks - that;’s the only thing you re good at CB Curtis Lewis - Green, bu tcna develop nicely into a good coverage corner, but not good at the picks S Oscar Adams - Sufficent player already on the roster S Tito Artis - Yes, we are starting a UFA. KR/PR WR Pat Donovan, CB Reggie Fuller and S Buddy Kellum Alright, I’m predicting a low record, how about 5-11?

RB Ray Peacock - 252 ruches, 1132 yards, 4.4 ypc, 7 rush yards Again, not a bad mark while spelling folks and waiting for the next big one WR Pat Donovan., 77 grabs, 988 yards, 5 scores WR Everett Perez, 51, 529 and 3 WR Thurman Mikkor, 44, 392 and 3 TE Lincoln Woodson, 7 starts, 37, 384 and 2 Not a bad season considering the QB’s one. Team Awards:
Offensive Player of the Year - WR Pat Donovan - Hed his own, caught a lot of passes for scores and yards despite a QB with low stats, and looked good all year long. Thanks Pat! Defensive Player of the Year - S Oscar Adams - A guy who was supposed to just get me ot the next guy instead hasd the best season with 80 solo tackles, and tons of passes defensed and led my team in picks. Nicely done sir! Special Teams Player of the Year - P Ross Von Hagel - When you lead the league in an important statistical category, t’s hard to deny you your spot here. Thanks! Rookie of the Year - OG Bo Arthur - Had a very fine year starting for us, and I expect more of the same next year. He has good potential! Heart Award - S Tito Artis - Startiung as a UFA, Artis held his own in a weak secondary and a team that allowed a ton of passing yards. Sure, we’ll go for more polished players later, but he played his heart out for us, and that;s what this award is all about.

And who? Gladney is entering his 12th year, time to let him go. None of the others entice me enough for a Tag. Actually, now that I look at the players, I decide to Tag Lira. 2 trade offers arrive - one for Brenden Pierce and the other for QB Richie Benton for the Warriors’ 1st/10 this year. That I take. We draft 11th in the first round, so I have the 10 and 11 pick. That’s good stuff.
Alright, let’s look at my roster and make some changes to folks I extend WR Pat Donovan for four years. He’s my guy, no question. S Oscar Adams is entering his 10th year, but he had a strong season. I extend him three years total, so two more years. For now, I’m not touching 12 year vet OT Claude Welch, RB Ray Peacock, DT Spencer Caldwell or Ogs Damon Duffy or Howie Flanders. I think I can move some, or keep some, but I want to see what I can get first We have 26 players under contract and 143 mill in space - does not include Roger Lira I offer contracts to these UFAs LB Joseph James OG Lewis Scott I can’t believe the GM over at Huntington. He let C Lance Lennon hit free agency? Is he crazy? I wish I hadn’t made a play for Knievel now. It might be time to let James go, and I’m sad to see Lewis Scott considered surplus, so I’m makign a polay for him, to give him a start. But Lennon? That’s crazy talk! Do I need to sign a QB in FA? Wow, this is a very weak Qb class, I don’t even see a legit starter, let alone a great player. I need to sign one now I have Woodson, Donovan and a good o line. Let’s find a good QB now. The only legit player is 15 year vet Corwin Kinney. I make an offer. If I get James, Scott and Kinney, this is a good off season. Week 2 - There is a ton of competition for the man, Lewis Scott. I bump my bid. I am the only one bidding for James. Lots of compeition for Kinney as well. My poffer is outbid by 25 million by some teams. I massage my offe,r but I feel that this is going to be a loss. Week 3 - I get Kinney. He chose me over other options that paid more. Maybe its because I have the structure for success now offensively. I’ve got a good O Line, a good WR and Woodson, a future HOF TE on my team. Week 7 - We sign James. Scott is still out there. Week 9 - I sign Scott

Okay, time for some trades
I trade OG Howie Flanders and OG Damon Duffy for Bears 3rd and 7th this year (number 35 in the rounds) and Duffy has no interest, so I cut him instead. I’m actively looking to replace people in their last year - RB Roy Peacock, OT Clauude Welch, DT Spencer Caldwell I’m particularly looking to pull Caldwell, because he’s costy and not super hot. With Pierce in there, I’m not sure it’s needed. I want to let go 1st round draftee DE Kennedy Bourne in his third year, but I need something at DE to sell me on it first. No one signed Byron Quinn, or LB Martinez or Southard. The Lbs aren’t good enough but I thought Quinn might go. He Didn’t which surprises me. I’m waiting until post-draft to sign Lira. I want to see if I get lucky with a stud OT or anything, or what my financial situation looks like. Signing the top QB in the FA takes a lot of dough. Let’s draft baby!

The 2059 NFL Amateur Draft
The 1st pick is OG Otis Lucas, from Maryland, to the Titans. Our picks arrivee. Off the board are 2 RB, CB, 3 LB, OG, DE and OT. We have the 10th and 11th picks. Who are my men? The best player might be DT John Reuter, with 21/86, 31/100 and 53 stats. But can my roster really afford o invest two high picks in DT right now? RB Russel Tumbleson is a good guy who can start for a while, but won’t be my Barrett, Shpehred, Hall guy, but he’ll be a rock. Expect 1400 rushing yards a season and some good TD numbers. LB Richie Conzelman is a need pick with potentials of 80, 84, 85, 80 and 44 endurance. If that endurance were higher, he’d be an easy pickup for me. Of those that went, LB McFarlane is a gift, because his current stats are all in the 60s or 70s and his pots in the 80s or 91 for one. He was taken already. The next had huge potentials, three of 100. So Conzelman is the 3rd best, but he’s still quality. One LB was not good enough to take, and Conzelman was better. Fact - two of the best players on the board fit areas of need - I take both RB Tumbleson and LB Conzelman Round 2 arrives. There are no great starters here. Sometimes you’ll get a WR, S, RB, TE, to fall to this spot. Not this year. The best is DE Nolan Cooper, with 22/76, 23/66 and 32 endurance. That’s a low endurance. DT JR Pierce is similar, 72, 74 and 35 his pots. You might be able to stretch CB Tyrone Fann or S Ricky Comella into starters. OG Joel Thomas is pretty solid, but I’m set at that position. I take Cooper. Comella is still on the board at 3 and I take him. At the back of the 3rd, I like LB Archie Long, who is very developed already. I grab a good backup TE in Donovan Kleaver in the 4th. In the 5th, backup OG Dana Mueller falls to us. Then backup LB Thurman Wright, DE Robbie Cornwell, and CB Norm Naylor Draft Recap 1.10 - RB Russell Tumbleson, Texas, 5.3/5.3 1.11 - LB Richie Conzelman, North Carolina, 4.8/7.2 2.11 - DE Nolan Cooper, Washington, 2.9/4.6 3.11 - S Ricky Comella, Oklahoma, 3.5/3.5 3.35 - LB Archie Lone, Florida, 2.5/4.9 4.11 - TE Donovan Kleaver, Duke, 3.8/4.2 5.11 - OG Dana Mueller, Stanford, 2.2/4.5 6.11 - LB Thurman Wright, Indiana, 2.1/4.6 7.11 - DE Robbie Cornwell, Washington, 2.0/2.2 7.35 - CB Norm Naylor, Bemidji State, 2.1/2.1 Lira’s tag number is at 15 mill. I make no changes to that for now

UFAs I sign:
TE Lorenzo Bronson, Monmouth QB Malcolm Weydahl, Georgia Tech WR Blake Beatty, Louisiana Tech C Lance Donaldson, Sam Houston State OG Gene Hiles, Arizona OT Kendrick Cortez, georgia Tech OT Kelly Horning, Kansas DE Gary Hudson, Idaho State DT Wade Williamson, UCLA LB Bryce Unger, UNC CB Kevin Lee, Louisiana State I ran out of cap room here. Need to make a few cuts Who is dispensible? I might have someone good to sign post camp, so let‘s see who I can releive. I cut RB Ray peacock now that I have a new guy who should be better. I sign more UFA: S Hardy Buford, Navy - S Charles Bone, Purdue . RB JT Erickson, San Diego State CB Ethan Wolf, Wake Forest - they won’t let me sign these - rough There is a stud DE who was released when his tag went over someone’s roster, but I am not touching him. This isn’t an FA team, but a draftee team.

WR Pat Donovan - His first pro contract was signed, give us yards and scores in buckets WR Everett Perez - Won a weak competitin C Korey Knievel - Very strong OG Lewis Scott - Say hello to another year of the man and the plan OG Bo Arthur - Almost fully developed, so he should look solid OT Roger Lira - On a franchise tag I have not renewed, because I fear next year’s salary cap OT Claude Welch - 12 year man, but still solid. P Ross Von Hagel - Very good for us K Alonzo Bruce - Signed him off his RFA for three years, keep it up DE Kennedy Bourne - Yuck DE Nolan Cooper - The rookie starts DT Spencer Caldwell - Expensive but decent DT Brenden Pierce - Okay buddy, let’s get going MLB Joseph James - He has arrived ladies and gents! Schedule
Week 1 - Richmond Week 2 - Minnesota Week 3 - Green Bay Week 4 - SAN FRANCISCO Week 5 - San Antonio Week 6 - Washington Week 7 - DALLAS Week 8 - BYE Week 9 - GREEN BAY Week 10 - CHICAGO Week 11 - Kansas City Week 12 - MINNESOTA Week 13 - Detroit Week 14 - Chicago Week 15 - RICHMOND Week 16 - DETROIT Week 17 - OAKLAND So we beging with a rough away game stretch, with 5 of our 6 games on the road. Then we finish with a three game home stretch. After the bye we have 6 home and 3 away. I expect 9-7 season. I’m feeling a wiinning season, but barely. We were 7-9 last year, better than expected. Plus or minus two wins would not surprise me. Well, 11-5 would, but 7-9 again would not. So I gues between 7 and 10 wins, with 9 my guess. Let’s see what happens, with my new coach and improved team.

I’m really tempted to move my bad DE Kennedy Bourne for the 2nd rounder I am offered and sing the FA amazing DE as a one year patch. Let’s do it. We get the Falcons pick and I grab DE Scott Glen for my team. He moves my DE corp to 4th best. Yeah, it’s worth it.
Preseason! We finish preseason 2-2. We have nno major injuries to startrers, but probable to OT Welch and DE Cornwell. Backup DE Hudson is questionable with a hyper extended knee and will play.

The 2059 NFL Super Bowl
Your #1 Seed AFC Chmapion 13-3 Huntington Highlanders vs. Your #2 Seed NFC Champion 12-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Here we go! MVP is Donald Hightower. They win 29-17. Donovan scores off a pass in the 1st. They get three field goals in the 2nd quarter and its 9-7 at the half. A Lenny Sampson run gives them a score, and then Tumbleson answwers for us. We stop them , and then score a FG and its 17-16 us going into the 4th quarter. Then They have a run by a newer player named Gino hawkins for a score, and no conversion. Finally, they score and get the PAT off Hightower and win. Tumbleson had a great game, 22 carries, 149 yards and a score. Kinney was 17 of 27, 214 and 1:1. Donovan caught 75 yards and a score, and Woodson 89 yards. 5 KRB by Lira, 4 by OG Lewis Scott. That was an unexpected season.

Stats:
QB Corwin Kinney, 277 of 475, 58.3%, 3595 yards, 21:10 ration, 88.1 rating, 26 sacks., 2 rush TD, 4 fumbles, 500 rush yards, 96 rushes, 5.2 ypc Not a bad season at all. His one weakness is too many incompletions. That’s a low completion %. If he just hit some check downs, who knows what this would have been like. Good rushing though. RB Russel Tumbleson, 289 carries, 4.1 ypc, 1211 yards, 20 scores. That’s a lot of Tds. Low ypc, what is that? Otherwise, this is a very nice year. Next year he’ll develop and we’ll have a good plan. WR Pat Donovan, 93 grabs, 1361 yards, 10 scores TE Linvcoln Woodson, 57 for 646 and 2 WR Everett Perez, 13 starts, 48 for 542, 6 Donovan certainly had All Pro numbers, This was his first all pro season. I’m disappointed Woodson did not get All pro, because he had good numbers, low TD but very high yardage. No TE had more receiving yards this year in the league. Good stuff! Nothing major in returns, no great average or scores K Alonzo Bruce, 27 of 36, 37 of 40 Pat. P Ross Von Hagel, 1 of 2 FG, 2 of 2 PAT, 84 punts, 43.8 avg, 38 in 20 How do you miss three PAT? Injury in agmae forced Von Hagel to kick. 5th best Pavg in league, 2nd most punts inside 20. Yet no All Pro nod for Von Hagel. LB James Joseph, 122 tackles, 1 sack, 1 block, 5 pasdef, 1 fumrec LB Archie Long, 98 tackes, 4 sacks, 3 pas def LB Richie Conzelman, 81 tackles, 3 pas def, 1 fum rec Joseph ‘s game has diminished. He used ot get 10 pasdef and moe tackles and such, but he’s still my best LB by far. Long was fine, Conzelman disappointing considering his draft pick, but he’s also very green., DE Scott Glen, 21.5 sacks, 4 blocks, 11 hurries DT Brenden Pierce, 9.5 sacks, 4 blocks DE Nolan Cooper, 5.5 sacks, 1 block, 3 hurries DT Spencer Caldwell, 3.5 sacks, 1 and 2 Pierce stpped up nicely, wow was putting in Glen the right move, and Copper is green but alright. Caldwell is time to go. S Oscar Adams, 7 picks, 5 pasdef S Hardy Buford, 6 picks, 8 pasdef CB Dominic Vaughn, 3 and 6 CB Curtis Lewis, 1 and 7 For a while, I thought Adams was bound for an All Pro season, but he slowed down in the last six games. Our little gem of an UFA also looked very nice, but my corners? Dear God in heaven… C Korey Knievel, 30 KRB, 3 sacks allowed OT Claude Welch, 22 adnd 6 OT Roger Lira, 18 and 5 OG Bo Arthur, 18 and 1 OG Lewis Scott, 18 and 4 While not great years for most, Knievel was fine and the others okay. Arthur did not rise in KRB as I hoped, but I’m not upset with a one sack season for the lad. That’s nice.

Team Stats:
12th most rush yards, 13th most pass yards 3rd fewest rush yards allowed, 7th fewest passing +6 is TO margin - 26 to 20, +24 in sack margin - 51 to 27. Good stats here, you can’t argue. A few more picks fro my corners would be essentially nice, but otherwise, not bad, but my offense has room to grow.

Offensive Player of theYear: WR Pat Donovan - When I came in, he was the hot ticket item, and he has not disappointed, and after getting a pro contract, he rewards with his first all pro seaason. He is hot stuff right now. Defensive Player of the Year: DE Scott Glen - A one year patch that was hot proved it with scintillating sack numbers. It’s downright rare I see players on my team with that sort of numbers. Nicely done! Special Teams Player of the Year - P Ross Von Hagel - Top three in two major statistical categories for punters is very relevant to my interests. This was a down season for K (miss three Pat) and returns, but not here and not with Von Hagel. Well done! Rookie of the Year - S Hardy Buford - To come in off the street as a UFA, start, and have really strong numbers means a lot to my team, and he wins this award. I almost gave it to a certain RB, but he didn’t domiante as I wanted, and this guy did powerfully well for his rookie season. Heart Award - WR Myron Schwartz - Just a bad backup WR who was inactivated for the first 13 games, but the Everett went down. I put him in as my 4th strong WR and al lhe did wa scatch a TD and 150 yards in three games from the spot. Well done son!

I have 30 playres under the cap and 71 mill in space prior to the fa period beginning. We are letting go: DT Spencer Caldwell, DE Scott Glen (sad face), and OT Claude Welch. I would love to franchise glen, but that’s against the rules of the dynasty (no franchising amazing playters cut late by teams for tags or rfa cuts). I can make an offer for him like everyone els,e but I cannot abuse the system by forcing him for more than a year, so Glen is off. Thanks Glen!
No changes to staff, no tags, no ticket price alterations Free Agency time has arrived I extend P Von Hagel’s deal by a year. I cut Woodson’s deal by a third from 18 mill to 12, now that he is dropping his skill set and entering year 12 for him. He does not want ot extend his deal beyond this year. I don’t have a lot of people with contracts up this year. That’s very nice. I need starters at OG, OT, DE, DT, LB, CB Anyonbe who excites me? DE Glen is about ot cash in for a ton of money. A very old OG at 15th years is Calvin McWilliams, a guy who started a lot for me, and he’s out there in FA. He’s on my radar. Still the 3rd best OG in FA. I make him an offer. I try to feel out the Highlanders to see if they would be willing to part with OG Shane Garner, but I can’t even get them to budge for two 1st round picks, so they really want to keep ahold of him, I would trade my #1 this year for him. We sign McWilliams in week 8. Glen signs for 26, 31, 38 and 47 mill for four years with the Packers. No other FA interest me right now.

The 2060 NFL Amateur Draft
We have a pick way back in the back this year. QB Stephen Huntley and QB Roosevelt Skettitt are the only two worth drafting, and Skerritt’s potential is not better than my current 16 year old vet. Huntley is the guy. QB Marshall Kirk intrigues me as a backup, because he has very low potnetials, but is already very developed, so he’d be nice backup non-development type guy. Huntley goes #1 to Richmond. I didn’t have enough ammo to trade into that spot for him. We pick #35 each round and have to struggle to find value. My pick arrives. Can I find that great player? Once about every five drafts or so a greats starter falls this far. Did it happen this year? Yeah, he did. S Gene Hopper. Are you kidding me? Here are his stats - 27 of 82 in run d, 33 of 100 man to man, 23 of 74 zone, and 90 picks and 72 endurance. That is a nasty good Safety. Anyone else? Yeah! WR Louis Dawson. 19/64 catching, 92 yards per catch, 25 of 100 for frequency, 80 3rd down, 94 carrying, 46 endurance. That is a nasty receiver this late! Any others? LB Daryl Shaw, 33 of 86, 22 of 65, 28 of 70, 31 of 77, and 40 endurance is the normal type of player I’d get here and be happy with. Backup choice S Bucky Stahlm with lower picks bu 26/89, 27/94 and 35/88 (38 picks) and 54 end. That’s very start-able. And, QB Skerrit is still here! He’s not super hot - 14/64 screen, 14/65 short, 6/35 medium, 19/98 long, 13/66 deep, 34 3rd down, 19/81 accuracy, 13/90 power, 63 scramble, 50 carrying. That’s not All Pro every year but it is a very solid starter. Others of merit - LB Roy Stevens, 20/80 run, 18/58 pass, 18/51 man to man, 25/95 zone, 64 endurance, LB Donald Pendergrass, 70s and 60s all stats pots with 30s current, LB Marty Blake the same, CB Skip Kayer, 10/50 for run D, 16/94 man, 18/100 zone, 45 picks, 48 endurance. What happened? It’s like all of the talent mellted of the back of this round. I have drafted at the back of a lot of 1st rounders, and I have never witnessed such a bounty of treasure. I don’t even know where to start with this lot! I look to see where they might tbe on folks’ board. Skerrit is 4th by QB future rating, Stahl is 2nd my current rating and 8th by future, Hopper is 1st by future, Dawson 5th by current, not listed in top ten by future, Shaw top by future, Pendergrass 3rd by it, Blake 4th by both current and future, Stevens not on list much and Kayer is not on list. What do I do? I have to get Dawson and Hopper. They are essential starters, with no flaws, perfect for me. (And that's where I ended, see the above post about screwing up the draft accidentally)

I sign all of the rookies and I have 51 mill in cap space. What is still around?
I bring in a few UFAs as well. I'll let you know of any that are god enough to warrant conversation. Post-Camp I sign DT Richie Reid, a 2nd round pick from Huntington whom I drafted, to play for us. Now, any booms? Busts? Not really...
