I won Spock last night and I gained the ability to analyze any statement. I am a bit disappointed at the lack of "villager checking in" statements at the beginning of the game and it was tough to find any other ones statements to find out if they where true or not then those. The main point of this rant is I looked at this quote:
Quote:
And I found Barkeep to be telling the truth. |

The reason I am disappointed in my inability to find any good statements on other people and I spent a good chunk of time after the deadline looking is that I generally felt pretty good about Barkeep and the other two who said they where villagers where Chubby and Autumn.

Nice info Zinto. That pushes BK right to the top of the trusted list.

That sounds like a very believable power for Spock, so I'll go with that.
I've got to head out for a bit, I'll post my thoughts when I get back. |

I would share if it said he was or wasn't a wolf. No need to share anything other than that. I want to see how honest he is about it and it kind of ruins that approach if I lay my cards on the table now. Odd that you would ask though. If he is honest, I move my attack. If he is not honest I keep the attack there and see if anyone wants to follow me. I don't have anything solid enough to elicit a run on him until I hear back from him. |

Given that the wolves have been intent on knocking out people who've been cleared, I am willing to reveal one of my powers.
I have the ability to escape death, both by lynching and wolves, for 24 hours. I plan on using this power tonight. |

A word of caution though. If Z is a wolf that won that power he could have just cleared two wolves with that statement (he and BK). Just my paranoia speaking though, but it is a legitimate concern. |

Need to look at this more tonight. Have to get back to work. Actually, Z's statement really would only clear BK and not himself after thinking about it. I need to stop posting thoughts as soon as they pop into my head.

And we've lost Jack Bauer for purposes of interrogation. It doesn't seem close enough to endgame for them to take a gamble like that, but on the other hand a couple bad days and I bet we have plenty of people who look more suspicious than Zinto/BK. |

I understand the doubt on what I am saying and I have no doubt that I wouldn't completely trust what I was saying either if I was anyone else but like everything else it will come out eventually that I am telling the truth.

So BK and Autumn are looking rather cleared, dubb maybe only a notch below, Zinto and Chubby also are looking decent to me. That's a fairly solid block to work with. Glad to see we had villagers winning 3/5 characters yesterday to good effect.

I would guess two wolves left, possibly three, and 1-2 neutral characters.

I am not against going after Keyser today since he is someone I tried to find a post to analyze but I couldn't find a really good one. I just do not have a read on him either way.
Really though I would much rather go for someone who has not been too active either Thursday Next if Eagle gets what he is looking for or Schmidty if Eagle does not find out what he is looking for. |

To be fair that is now two separate powers used on Barkeep and both are pointing toward the same thing. We know he has been up to nothing at night(my ability I won). And now it appears he has been soothsayer-ed.

Not sure what you're trying to say there, but between you and JAG I feel much less confident about you. And not just because you attacked me on day one! I have a feeling CF put one of his attacks at the end of D1 on a fellow wolf, and without much else to go on, that's what I'll have to look to. KEYSER ATTACKS HEAVY |

Assuming no one cares I would like to see the following done today:
Sauron -- Attack=McKerney // Interact=Barkeep Harry Potter -- Attack=Dubb // Interact=Autumn Jack Bauer -- Attack=EF // Interact=Chubby The rest of you, if you have a better idea tell me. If you are a villager and you suspect one of the above is a wolf then by all means submit the same action as that person has been asked to submit.

Well, I know you're half-wrong already. As far as mckerney, even if what you said about CF is true, you would also have to assume Tyrith put an early attack on a wolf also and didn't change it. I could only go for that if we somehow knew Heavy had some ability that could only be activated by being attacked (which isn't impossible mind you). |

I actually moved Heavy up my COT with that vote. Even I would be hard pressed to vote a wolf early on day 1 and leave it there all day. Completely different situation than a late vote on day 1.

I will also go with EF on this one. If he says there is something that NTN needs to tell us then when NTN gets here he needs to have the motivation to tell us.

Thing is, even with a ton of attacks on MIMITW on day 1, he didn't die. So this wasn't a normal WW situation - one attack can easily not amount to much. Not like a sudden swing at the deadline of 1-2 votes would suddenly thrust a person into danger like normal. I get what you're saying, but I have to look somewhere for a wolf, and I have a fair amount of trust for most of you. I'd like to hear from NTN to see if EF is on to anything. He fits in the whole UTR category that I was harping on with DT. |

I'm going after Bauer as I feel less comfortable with EF than the others listed and I think he might be more important, assuming these guys will offer the same abilities they had when they lived. Not that it matters much since I haven't won anything to this point.

That's true to some degree and I agree with the basic premise. But where I disagree is that one attack on a person can lead to attacks from others piling on in typical D1 fashion and that's where the danger would come in. It's possible, but it seems a rather risky attack when there were safer ones available. I will say I thought it curious he jumped along with me, who isn't nearly as well cleared as others, without much commentary. I would be likely to entertain that if your corpse cones up villager. |

I am more than willing to talk about my character. Well everything but my hit points. I think what EF is referring to is that the Save of Tyrith. I do have an ability that could have saved him too. I have an ability that can banish someone for 24 hours. where they can not use their abilities , or be attacked. However if this was used Tyrith would still be alive.

Also I won Ahab last night. I was hoping he would be a tracking type power, however, it is a killing power with conditions...which as of yet haven't been met.

You clearly don't want to talk about the conditions that would have to be met for you to use the power. Can you explain why?

Where am I on the list jag? I feel I deserve to be on it somewhere.
I called out the kill prior to it happening. I don't think the wolves would kill one of their own off when a 5 damage attack could have taken out someone else most likely. I also had to sacrifice something to be able to put this attack in place. The wolves IMO would rather create an extra day of voting on admiral and maybe save him. |

I'm not calling you bad, but killing off a wolf who IS going to be killed within the next day or so, to gain trust for another wolf is exactly what a good wolf would do. As a wolf not using that kill to gain trust would have a been a bad play.

Well, Barkeep, I had small hopes of using it against one of the wolves, when I died...if I died today. The power comes from Ahabs famous quote:
"to the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee." If I die I may chose someone to go with me. That is wherre the power comes from. His last crazed rampage against the white whale |

That makes no sense. Why would a brutal wolf claim his own ability to no benefit? I think his claim is believable, regarding Ahab's power. I doubt he just conjured that up and / or happens to be a brutal wolf when more than likely there are no traditional roles out there (no cunning / brutal wolf, no seer / BG, just a bunch of characters with powers). If you are a villager and die ntn, I recommend taking Jackal with you. |

yes it is usually a standard wolf power, but no one met Ahabs requirements it goes to a random person.
