The Walking Dead out for $6.24

Would anyone know if this is the complete collection?

I don't think it has 400 Days, if that's what you're asking.

If you're buying New Vegas today go for the Ultimate Edition with the 4 DLC expansions for $4.99.

The ARMA2 bundles are pretty sweet deals. Plus, the DayZ mod is on Steam, so this is a quick and cheap way to check that out as well.

If you've never tried Op Flashpoint or any of the ARMA series, it isn't a typical Call of Duty or Modern Warfare combat game. It isn't tightly scripted, and you have many different ways to finish the objectives for each level.

:::sigh::: someone stop me now. Been watching some Sims 3 videos for quite some time now-I had played the original way back when but stopped because it seemed much more a sandbox than a game. It's still a sandbox but now one with goals and random events and "quests". Was a great deal at 50% off with the base game and University Life expansion, so pulled the trigger. Had to stop myself from getting any of the other expansions which were also 50% off.

I think that was the last of the games I was really looking to get in the Summer Sale...I hope.

I'm finding a lot to like lately. A lot that I put off getting has been on sale. Kerbal SP is now on sale, Fallout NV is on sale and I'm almost surely getting both of those. I'm a little indecisive on Borderlands and Arma. Leaning more to getting Borderlands as a fun shoot-em-up rather than the more serious simulator that I'm reading Arma to be.

If you're considering ARMS for DayZ you will probably be better off waiting for the standalone version.

I picked up Universe Simulator for like 1.99. Not a game, but a cool simulator you can use to do all sorts of fun things - explore space, collide stars, collide universes, build solar systems, etc.

Eh, just trying to figure out what ARMA is and whether it's worth it at the sale price. DayZ isn't in the equation. I've pretty much stayed out of the "military" game genre, so I've not played any of ARMA, Battlefield, or Call of Duty, for example.

ARMA is definitely very different from the other two with it being designed as a realistic simulation.

Thanks. I finally decided to leave ARMA off and got Borderlands along with KSP and Fallout NV. This pile of games is getting awfully tall now.

Thought about Impire. But then saw the Cyanide name and read a couple reviews, and was like no.

It's not by the main Cyanide studio, which is something the devs made sure to point out. It still looks awful and not worth playing though.

I can't say I understand branding another studio with the Cyanide name. I get 2K naming a bunch of studios Rockstar and EA doing the same with BioWare, but Cyanide just seems like a way to turn a bunch of people off to the game right away.

I'm looking for a skyrim deal or torchlight 2, and I'm waiting patiently until they hit a flash or daily sale. I hoped for a community vote for torchlight, but that didn't come through.

Torchlight II is daily deal right now (4.99 - well worth it)

And purchased.

I am using the mobile app, and I guess it lagged a little behind. 'Cause I was just looking, and it looked like the voting was complete, but TL2 wasn't the community choice. It is good to be wrong.

That would suck. I have been watching closely, but intermittently as I've been busy with my family and seriously Ill mother.

This sale has been a blessed distraction the past few days.

There is always the final day during the last 8 hours.

The Skyrim deal was a flash deal (the 8 or whatever hour deals), meaning it should come up again as a daily deal very soon I would imagine.

add it to your wishlist and you should (or you might as I'm not sure it always works) get an email or a mobile notification if it drops in price...

But yeah, it was a flash deal so it should have its daily deal at some point...

Been looking at some turn-based type of RPG games and three are on my list right now:
Eador, daily deal ending in a couple days at 11.99
Might & Magic Heroes VI, yesterday daily deal ending tomorrow at 1 for10.19
Warlock, regular deal right now for 9.99

What say you FOFC? I will definitely not have time to play all three and will probably not have much time to play the one I'll buy anyway, so I'd like to have at least a bit of fun with it. I don't know much about any of the games, they all seem at least interesting to me.

Any insight would be appreciated... Pros/cons of every game. If Warlock is the pick over the other two, I don't mind waiting for a better deal but if it's one of the other two, then the purchase needs to be done sooner...

The Heroes of Might & Magic has always been a series that should hook me in, but for whatever reason, I play it for maybe a day or two and then lose interest.

Eador I was curious to hear about myself.

I was curious about Eador and read a number of reviews and was put off by them. Even the best reviews seemed to be saying "there is some greatness here but you need an immense amount of patience to wade through all of the bugs to find it"

Unfortunately I don't know anyone who owns it to get a better idea than that, so I passed.

Seriously. When the hell did we get to the point where we have to play the games we buy during Steam sales?

Picked up the Portal and Portal 2 together pack for $6.24.

That's what I love most about Steam sales, I think - it allows me to pick up the hyped up games that might not normally be in my wheelhouse for peanuts to see how I like them.

Should we be waiting for a flash sale for Dishonored, or is this as good a deal as we can expect?
