The exits from my current room are: back (to the lighter bricks), right (too small for a Taurian to enter), and left (to the lighter bricks). I haven't kept a map, but I think if I take the left I will be back in the weapons racks room.

My health is better than I expected thanks to going up a level-15/30, so healing not as urgent now, but won't turn a healing item trade down. Not sure which way I'm going to go tomorrow-I think I'm playing with fire in this level of the dungeon despite my level increase.

Darth I have gone forward from my starting room (that had a harp in it), that put me in a room with the weapon rack that animates upon touch, then right into the stables, then left into darker bricks and this butterfly room. I think if I choose the left exit I will be back in the weapon rack room-anyone agree?

I had such high hopes for my dungeon expedition.

I'm thinking I may avoid the hands and the library and head back to see if I can't run into someone else. That probably is my best chance at this point, though I'll be wasting some days without leveling up.

I process night actions early

Tomorrow I have a shit pot of meetings. I suspect we'll get the morning actions done fine, and the movements as well, but I'll be out from around 11:00 ish until 3 or 4 ish.

Here's a poll amongst you all:

Do you think itsssss worth taking Turn Undead asss a new ssspell?
WIth the No Xp/No Treasure part of it, it kinda negatessss the whole purposssse.

Detect Evil and Remove Fear would have obvioussss usesssss however but posssibly in lesssss frequent encounterssss.

Excellent. Well a bundle of herbs is 50 gold in the Djinni Market, so I would offer 100 gold for both depending on how much the powders can heal?

Well I think Kwhit would have liked to have been able to cast Turn Undead...Yeah it sucks since you get no treasure or xp, but if Abe will let you use it when you get low on hp while fighting an undead, still being alive is its own reward. Detect Evil could come in handy for you especially since you are good, but in general for cursed items-I mean do you really want to post in pink for the rest of the game?

Hello CF,

I have been taking a beating actually, but have been rewarded for it by going up 2 levels. And it would be nice if I could actually use my bow attack for a change-I've been surprised both times I've been attacked. But overall the dungeon has been a very rewarding place for me so far.

Now I have a decision to make-go back to the lighter bricks, possibly to a room I've been too before and wind my way back to my starting room, or if I can't get the healing powders from JAG, don't move this turn and wait for the djinni sale so I can stay on this level. Decisions, Decisions.

Was that a rabid cave weasel you fought? damn thing nearly killed me (I was a wimpy artificer then). I'm trying to remember what the effect its rabies had on me then-negative one to hit I think?

I certainly hope we do meet up-my own personal healer would be nice.

Yup. If I meet a powerful undead, getting rid of it could be really good.
essssssssssSpecially ones that drain our levelssssss.

But again. No Xp. I don't rightly undersssstand the whole no treasure thing. I mean what doessss it do. Stop fleeing from the holy man to pick up all 1000 go while it'sssss being burned by holy light?

Exxxxactly about Detect Evil. Lotssss of little rewardssss and usssses. But I actually have to casssst it. At leasssst it would give me ssssomething to do with my exxxxxtras action

But what you got againssssssst pink. Pantherssss like it.

Ssssseriously....how can a sssskeleton carry ANYTHING?
It'd jusssst fall through them. And zombiessss their pocketsssses would fall off them....along with their legssss.

I never thought of it assss any monsssster carrying treasure that isssn't humanoid. They jusssst have it in the room to me.

The anticipation is building.. After a restless night curled up on the floor of this cold and unforgiving place, I think to myself.. Wouldn't it be a bitch if the contents of this thing took us out? My paws are sweaty..

The optimistic part of me hopes it is filled with gold or other cool things.

I'm guessing that because I didn't see that Abe processed it that we have to be in the same room to get the jar.

I just made that decision, and I don't think it's worth it at all. This game is about XP, and I think getting to the end will be a case of maximizing encounters and getting the most XP for them. Yeah I guess kWhit would have liked to have it, but if I'm in a strong party I don't see any value in it.

I actually ended up choosing luck... found out something about Remove Fear that I wasn't happy with and Detect Evil seemed more limited to me.

From my understanding of reading the rules this is not the case. Combat gets resolved in the most efficient way possible even if you might not want to use it every time, so that undead is gone no matter how easily you might have defeated it and got the XP. Abe can correct me if I'm wrong and he feels like it's useful info

Honestly, I'm guessing this is why such a powerful spell was put at level 1. It's really a reward (you don't die) vs a drawback (no xp or treasure) tradeoff
