I think it's useful all the time. The idea of applying pressure applies at all times in the game.

Meh - should have used a synonym for "applies" - "is valid" would have been appropriate.
Oh and 8 hours to deadline for you - 2 hours to deadline for me. |

I am just a vanilla villager so that makes my vote easy today.
Sorry I haven't been involved much today. I'm unpacking my office and dealing with network issues... but I should be good for a few hours and then softball later.. I should be around at deadline. |

Well there's not really anything else you can claim to be. I'd imagine that there's the Princess, vanillas and wolves left in the game. At the moment vanillas are pretty vital anyway because we can't really afford to lynch many more of them. |

Mauboy, I just went back and read all of your posts. If you're a villager, and want to avoid my vote at least, I could really use some thoughts from you. There wasn't much to go on back there.
Based on JAG vs. Jackal, reading through their posts, I'm going to go with Jackal. Nothing obvious, but he seems more likely to be playing the role of the agreeable villager, nodding along with a lot of thoughts without sticking his neck out at all. I may switch to Mauboy later if I feel like he's not making any case for himself, but am probably not going to to for JAG unless he posts something today which makes me wonder. VOTE THE JACKAL |

I think if you compare the way Jackal played last game I was in (you know that one that Crimson lost for the village) and this game the difference is pretty noticeable. Like I said before, he might have changed his game up or he might just be a villager. I can't really put my finger on it but he's being a lot less whatever it was he was being in the other game.
And if you want to get mau talking then the better bet might be to vote him rather than Jackal. :shurg: You can always move your vote later. |

Want to get a vote in just in case I get busy.
Vote Mau His behavior early in the game is something I have seen from other people before as wolves, plus he has been quieter than usual. I'm not a fan of Jags theory about Telle, but I think he just may have been trying to get to fancy, however, he is certainly on my radar. I think a Jackal-Mau runoff may give us the best chance of nabbing a wolf. |

JAG's theory on Telle was prior to Narc revealing he'd blocked CF. So you can pretty much ignore that.

My voting history sucks I think.. I haven't done much for analysis. I've stayed quiet this game since Danny got a nice eff bomb from me. Good enough for you? No? I've played a very boring game this time. Nothing to really analyze with my posts.

hmmm interesting. I was going to suggest a mauboy/autumn runoff. Your suspicions on Autumn, lathum, made me think you were going to vote for him. I was thinking of switching.

Oh no I'm not saying to ignore JAG as a vote target, just that I don't think he should be targeted because of voting for Telle. I was probably leaning that way if Narc didn't come out with that info. He has been super quiet this game, and it definitely makes me nervous. |

I was leaning towards Autumn/mau over JAG, and I think Autumn's vote helps me out quite a bit in my decision. Aside from the dustup with Danny mau hasn't really been involved in this game so it's hard to read him. Definitely possible there's a wolf hiding there but he's given us much less to analyze. I find it interesting that Autumn said I've been "nodding along with the village" when that's generally how I've felt about him this game. Gut + him voting for me = this:

I don't get the "weird" bit. Can you give, well, the other people an example of that. God! I'm completely clueless here. Typical that the one time I'm not worried about protecting myself I don't have a wacky theory to fervently believe in and peddle to other people. |

I think by weird he's mostly talking about how JAG is usually much more involved. When you've got a great villager who isn't saying all that much, it makes you nervous.

But I also seem to recall JAG saying he wasn't going to be as active this game, I've asked about it a couple times but never got an answer.. I'll go look that up

Our record has been shocking up to this point. The problem I have with JAG is the business that we should concentrate on the people who could be Rugen. It makes logical sense but I know that as a wolf I have used the trick of targeting a group of four which I'm part of. You get trust that way pushing you to the bottom of the pile. When you have to presume that if he is a wolf he's probably Rugen allied with Lathum or Bug and it becomes a really smart tactic. Even if he does get lynched before the others he gets to take out the bodyguard to open up the whole field.
So, yeah. Meh! |

Dude. I answered that the first time it was brought up. You mean you don't read my every utterance religiously? Yes, he said he wouldn't be as active as usual before the game started. Sounded like he was signing up to add some numbers to the game. Doesn't discount him being a wolf mind. |

I'm tempted to vote Bug or mau just to get them to say something other than "You'll lose if you vote me" or "fuck" respectively.

Yeah see that's the problem. But we don't have anyone who has any info or even a strong gut read on Lathum or Bug at this point, unless they're keeping it to themselves. If anyone did I think people would be willing to follow - but we at least know there needs to be a wolf amongst the four of us, so it's a good group to target.
As far as JAG getting trust for targeting us, I'm pretty sure Autumn and I have said the same thing, while mau has just voted and continued to say little. |

And I say that we know there must be a wolf amongst the 4 because CF has the ability to scan for Rugen. He wouldn't have that if Rugen wasn't in the game, right? I don't think so.

Not true - I've actually been a lot mellower about games this year. Believe it or not. And when I do get nervous I prefer it to be at figments of my own imagination, not actual events. Anyway I have my Dun-Dun-Durrrrr! Secret Victory Conditions to meet. Still would be nice to nail the bad guys though. |

I think this is up to date:
Autumn - 3 - Narcizo (1102), mau (1168), Jackal (1174) mauboy - 3 - CF (1125), Lathum (1164), Telle (1194) Jackal - 1 - Autumn (1160) |

Hmm. Well if I die I hope some voting analysis comes out of it. A close vote between two people should have that effect. I'm not the princess so my death wont create the 50% chance of getting a conversion for the wolves.
I assume autumn will indeed move to me so it would be 4-3 unless there is a change in plans. |
